"Well, we just need to find a Thanos or Darksied for you to fight and you won't have to worry about the world of paper for a little while," Forest said with a smile.

Thorra's hair was incredibly nice and easy to work with.  In fact, Forest realized she could work a rare Fish Tail Braid through this hair and worked on that.

"Mmm..." Thorra let out a soft sigh of contentment. "Those don't sound like nice people. Did you fight them or something? Darksied sounds like a dumb name."

Forest shook her head and said, "No, they're . . . characters out of modern mythology.  They're both very strong and very bad.  So you can go all out without having to worry about shredding the paper around you."

Forest shook her head and said, "No, they're . . . characters out of modern mythology.  They're both very strong and very bad.  So you can go all out without having to worry about shredding the paper around you."

Thorra seemed excited, because her voice suddenly rang out through Forest's mind. "Modern mythology? That sounds fun! You mean like, the fake stuff though, right? Not the stuff that actually happened and all that."

She blushed a bit. "Are there like, movies of this stuff? I like those."

Forest

Forest smiled and said, "Of course there's movies!  Now, some are  better than others, and there's also books and comic books . . . And yeah, it would be the fake stuff, but it's good stories."

Then she beamed and asked, "You like movies?  Do you like scary ones?"

Thorra turned around, and eyed up Forest's new proportions. She winked and gave her a beaming smile that sent tingles through her body. "You rock that pretty good. I've only actually seen two movies-something called cartoons. So I don't really know what sorts of movies I would like! I like spooky books though, so I think I'd probably enjoy watching some with you, Fore~"

"So your a pickup artist," she said, her pupil's drifting from side to side.  "And an overly flashy one to boot."

After taking stock of the situation, she stood up and turned towards the door.  Seras gave the old man a lazy hand wave as she walked through the gates into the streets.  "Goodbye perverted old man."

Clever lass. She saw that this was a disadvantageous game board, and decided to leave the rigged game before she sank any further. He had to respect that.

The old man grinned and watched her leave, stroking his beard with a raspy chuckle. Once she left the premises, he vanished like a mist of night sky, and all the other old world organisms that were hiding followed along, like vapor. Then, nothing.

And that same nothing followed Sera like her shadow.

What is darkness? It's something calm, comforting, yet insidious and cold at times. It hides the ugliness of people, provides a sanctuary from the cruel light, yet it also masks one's true feelings and prevents people from reaching the truth. Like much in this world, its something unseen yet full of contradictions.

 It is an endless void of power and possibilities, hidden me from the light of god and humans alike. Some covet its power, others hide inside it, and others dread and run from it.

But this thing behind Sera was darkness.

And that darkness sweat a little noticing what she was up to. Damn, is this payback for me picking on you? That's just cruel you know? It thought, but she could not hear.

But despite that, the darkness did not run. This organism from the void was not created to disobey its directives. All it knew was to follow its mission to the end.

"Well, honestly, if I know what books you enjoy, you'd probably like movies in the same vein honestly," Forest said with a grin.

Thorra leaned forwards and began to rock from side-to-side with a big silly grin dominating her face. She seemed to be bursting with energy and joy, if the fact her eyes were crackling with electricity was anything to go by. "Weelllll..."

She took a deep breath before continuing. "My favorite books are the ones about my dad, Thor! The history books that tell of his past exploits and deeds! Anything about mythological history is good, really. One of my favorites is Beowulf-there's just something really poetic about it-well, it is a poem, but that's not my point. I really find the fatalistic tale of his life to be fascinating, and the way he fights that dragon! The monster!"

She sighed. "It's just so much fun. But, I like all sorts of books! Those are just my favorites."

Forest

Forest did smile at Thorra's enthusiasm and nodded. 

"Unfortunately the one Beowulf movie I remember seeing wasn't . . . well it had a whole lot of Uncanny Valley going on.  As for Thor, well there's this whole series of superhero movies that kind of combine modern mythology with Norse?  I like them; I really like the Captain America character," Forest said as Chris Evan's shirtless image danced in her mind.

Well, not danced, but looked amazing.

But then, Chris Evans always looks amazing; better when he's dirtied up like in that Scott Pilgrim movie, she thought with a grin.

"See, Cap is a man out of time and trying to do the right thing in a world that is completely different than the one he knew," she said.

"Let's watch that movie then!" Thorra threw her fist up in the air and jumped up, almost banging her head into the ceiling. "In the meantime, let's make some cash! Come on, get dressed-or do you want me to do it for you?"

Forest

The blonde laughed as she started to get dressed.

"Yeah, we'll make some money and we can go watch at least the first Captain America movie," Forest said.

Then she frowned and asked, "I wonder if there's a way to find bounties and how much they're worth around here?"

With that, Thorra's very naked body dissapeared in a flash of electricity and smoke, as if she'd never existed in the first place. Thorra lifted Forest's arms and adjusted her breast-plates, making sure they fit nice and snug on Forest's otherwise bare skin. "Hmm... Most girls aren't this tall, so they rarely grow to quite the same size as my normal body-I think we might have some scary compatibility, Fore!"

She experimentally jumped in the air and performed a full roundhouse kick, gripping her haft tightly. "Haah!" The resultant rush of wind made everything in the bathroom shudder, and for a moment, it looked like the wall of the stall might collapse. It felt like Thorra patted her on the back after that, pressing phantom thumbs into her pressure points.
