Vega's Mansion
7:45 PM, NEXUS TIME
Drip, drip, drip. Drops of blood ran down an unmoving finger. Cold, so cold, this whole room was cold. If only there was something to make it warmer. But this home, the woods surrounding it, this whole world was just so silent and frigid.
Amidst his bloody living room, a corpse was laughing. His brain, his liver, his heart, all had been gouged out, and he had been left to die miserably in his own home. The only reason he was still awake was the immeasurable hatred that was plaguing his dying body... no, his corpse.
"It's too bad... too bad Lu... haahaha...haa... how dare... this world... let someone like me fall..." He could not even get up, his bleeding husk was forced on the ground, impotent as he bled out and his broken organs let out their final wails.
It was too bad. But he had to thank a certain friend he made recently. An alchemist he called himself, and how reliable he had been. As his heart had stopped breathing, a signal was sent. And soon, the flames began to rise on the walls, the halls, everywhere. But they didn't stop. These flames were not natural, therefore they did not follow natural rules. And as they grew and consumed his grave and his still body, he let out a final laughter, as the home collapsed. He didn't cafre that Lulu knew of the trap, or even that it might be stopped and all for nothing. He simply allowed this, out of sheer spite. Just like 6 years ago.
Sometimes, dreams can be prophetic.
The fire was spreading across the trees and grass quickly, soon it would cover this whole hillside.
