Entheo

Oh so one of these... he thought to himself.

Stopping only for a moment to gain his footing, Entheo rushed forward, pulling the massive weapon back.  The snow blasted upwards behind him like a geyser, a whirlwind forming around the sides of his body.  The bullets sailed through the snow, each one being ground to dust as Entheo spun his guangao like a fan.  The sheer wind generated by the weapon shot an enormous flurry of snow directly towards the assassin.

Through the snow, Entheo's chuckle could be heard, like a child having too much fun.

Destoroyah, ~10:00 PM:

A demonic figure sat on the edge of an eight-story-tall building, gazing at the streets below. She was a newcomer to this city, one trying to make sense of it all. Crimson hair flowed in the wind, caressing her chitinous armor and folded wings. Her face almost scowled at the people below...

During her short time here, Destoroyah came to realize that the people here are cut from the same cloth as the small, pathetic people back home. They were insects, really. Insects that live because she allows it. Insects that will die whenever it strikes her fancy.

A manic grin overtook her scowl. She had to bite down on her thumb nail just to keep from cackling. Yes, they were insects, crawling and chittering around each other. And she is now their god...

Shinji

Holy...

Ice, wind, oblivion. The coldness was assailing him before the snow could gnaw at him. But Shinji was nimble. Using snow as cover, he dashed back to the side and grabbed an adjacent Grave like a ledge, hauling himself up and flipping away from the snow flurry. Close. In fact, he avoided death by only an inch.

But his gaze was focused, and using his momentum, he reloaded his weapons while trying to zigzag past and behind the graves surrounding him, using them as cover to avoid him.

Aruna

Aruna rose to the highest building she could find.  The demon was not ready to head home yet.  Atop the building, she found another woman pondering just as she had planned to.  Coming up from behind, she said,

"I take it you come here to think as well?"

Cheeky bastard....

Finishing the movement by sliding the guandao against the concrete, Enetheo created a tidal wave of rubble and snow that towered over the graves.  Shooting into the air like a firework, he held the Chinese lance behind his back, ready to strike.

Shinji

He gave his foe an intense look as he realized too little too late where he'd s[end all that ungodly strength next. A dash sent his feet digging and cracking through snow and dirt, just in time to hide behind one of the larger gravestones. Teeth gritting, he lowered his whole body, feeling his bones rattle and his heart pound. And yet-

The sun was shining. No, it was the glimmer of metal! A moment, that's all he had to roll out of the way of the impact, and he grabbed it with all he had. But dodging that blow, while saving him from being skewered, didn't save him from the blast of ice that would have made him stumble even further. Now, a cloud of dust and snow was covering everything.

However, the red bullet didn't relent! The blur was hurling towards the spearman, moving with the lightness of the feather, but the fierceness of the storm. Charging... towards his blind spot!

Entheo

With his weapon already prepared, the guandao came down like a roar of thunder, the light of the metal shining as it came down in full swing.  With the full weight of the enormous blade on the red bullet, it threatened to slice it cleanly in half.

He would have to do better than that if he wanted to win this little game.

Shinji

The slash was cruel, merciless even. Any normal person would be cleaved in half. But what about grenades?

That was my favorite coat.

That, and a whole lot of grenades. The explosion flared up like the sun, sending burning shrapnel flying everywhere on impact. That, along with searing napalm, was hurrying towards him. And Shinji revealed himself in the back, coat-less with his shotgun pointed to the target and fired volleys of devastating bullets to keep the pressure up. The 'red bullet' was a trap, and now the hunt resumes.

Entheo

Shit!

Fire engulfed Entheo, smoke clinging to his body even after it flew through the cloud, landing on the headstone of the grave.  Considering grenades still hurt Entheo he occasionally forgot that those weapons don't actually hurt him in this form.  Seeing the barrel of the gun, Entheo brought his weapon back, spinning his weapon as he did before, all while rushing the man, intent on skewering him to bits.

Shinji

Left-arm, right arm, thigh, shoulder, face. Each received cuts that bled him slowly, and yet he never stopped moving.

And so he danced with death, moving like a wild beast through the blades of snow. Honestly, he was lucky. If it wasn't for it, he might not be able to react to the air slashes in time. A single mistake would cause his guts to come flying out of his body. This was the kind of handicap he was playing with. Tch.

But his friend had a little handicap of his own. He noticed it, how his strikes would avoid certain parts of the graveyard. "You're a considerate guy." He aimed and fired more blasts of his shotgun. Now they approached an area dense with gravestones. Knowing that... He dashed behind a row of them, hiding behind the structures. That monster couldn't strike as he wished here.

Emiya

Emiya looked at Tohsaka and said, "Let's get you breakfast.  And we'll wait for Tsumiko to come back down."

The cat chortled in acknowledgement, swished his tail, and began to trot to the kitchen with the former Hero of Justice in tow.

Tsumiko

It took a bit of time for her to head down. As she turned the corner, two things became obvious to him.

1: She had been crying.

2:She hadn't wanked.

She smiled weakly at him. "Hey."

Entheo

"This is a resting place for the fallen," he said softly, continuing to spin his blade to protect himself.  "I'd rather not destroy the homes of the dead."

While there were plenty of ways to finish this fight from this distance, the fact was he did not know the extent of the man's abilities.  In a situation like this, the safest way to finish this fight was to close the distance.  The worst part of this fight was the longer it went on, the more likely he would be to fail to protect the graveyard.

"But if you keep this up," he rushed to the side of the row of graves, attempting to approach. "i'd be happy to give you a home."

Amanda

Sigh.

Then with a flick of her hand, the food was gone from the stove and and in its place a feast had appeared on the table. However...

It was nothing like the food she had been preparing all along. It was far more varied and beyond anything one person could ever hope to cook by themselves in any timely fashion.

She sat down at the table and then leaned back while putting her own feet on it. Maybe this would finally trigger the etiquette sensibilities of her fiance.

"That's such a waste Sage. Just make them work for you and you get more power out of that. Sometimes saving someone nets you far more gain than just ending them."

Her aquamarine eyes then flicked over at Eru. "Top quality huh? Give me a break. The only thing top quality about your soul gems, is the comedy of burning souls for the sake of convenience. That is quite frankly disgustingly wasteful. Why don't you learn some actually useful magic instead?"

Shinji

"Now wouldn't that be nice." He pondered aloud, moving back a row with that same trick of kicking snow up to hide his position. He took a coin from his pocket... and flipped it. He couldn't keep evading forever, eventually, he'd get skewered. And at this rate, he'd never get a good hit in. So he had to take full advantage of the target being on fire to cloud his vision with steam...

The two blurs would keep dancing across the snow covered grave. But only one would fall today.

"Heads or tails?" A voice called out around him, but it was hard to tell where he went.

Entheo

The two figures blurred in the snow, that hole already filling with the white clumps falling from the sky.  "I'll take tails," he said, squatting down.

Entheo shot back into the air, his guandao cocked back before he launched a flurry of strikes, each one extending far beyond his body.  Unlike before he did not merely aim at one spot, but at every single grave, the shockwave of each strike blasting the snow away from the grave.  A miraculous thing happened.  Each one of the graves had their imprints visible.  Men, women, children, monster, thing: they all had their names revealed to the world, all by the passionate fury of those attacks.
