Tsumiko

She turned and stopped, nervously looking up at him, rubbing her legs together and averting her gaze from his, opting to look at his forehead instead.

"Wh-what is it?"

Emiya

Emiya's broad shoulders slumped as he sighed.

He said, "No, I should be sorry.  You know, if you're . . . involved just let me know you need a minute.  Then I'll give you all the time you need."

There!  I'm already a better father than the Old Man.

Tsumiko

Tsumiko opened her mouth, took a deep brath, then closed it. She looked away from him and ran into the bathroom, closing the door as quickly as shd could without smalling it and locking herself inside.

She needed a bit to collect herself, that was all she knew.

She slammed her fist into the wall and muttered to herself quietly, laying down a bounded field so Archer couldn't eavesdrop on her.

Emiya

Emiya looked at Tohsaka and said, "Let's get you breakfast.  And we'll wait for Tsumiko to come back down."

The cat chortled in acknowledgement, swished his tail, and began to trot to the kitchen with the former Hero of Justice in tow.

Amanda

"Yes, and there's some very very strong people who take it very seriously, and since you're connected to me, anything you say or do would reflect on me in turn." Then she turned to look Eru comletely.

"Why did you put her there? Isn't burning souls like that a complete waste?"

Eruraviel

"You fool. She's not being burned." She replied vehemently. "She's being punished for past transgressions while I figure out what to do with her! She's top quality! T O P Q U A L I T Y!"

She turned to face Sage, her elf-dragon pet. "What would you do with your worst enemy!"

Sage

Sage blinked a few times, before apparently deciding to just leave what Amanda said alone in favor for Eruraviel's question. "Devour them, then destroy their entire brood so it cannot threaten mine in return."

Entheo

8:00am Graveyard

Balls of white fell to the ground, clumping as it stuck to the floor.  Entheo's head tilted upward, his gaze focused on that hazy pale sky.  A wind blew through the graveyard and for a moment the graves obscured by the world were revealed by the wind.  Two orbs of blue and red floated around his body, following his gaze.

Two weeks....

Two weeks since we were cast into this world Entheo

Meow

Entheo stopped returned his gaze to the earth, staring at the graves he couldn't even see.  The people here weren't bad, but none seemed all that happy with their deaths.  That wasn't a good or bad thing in of itself, but he couldn't read their gravestones without freezing his hands.  Even so he bent down to observe the graves, just before the snow gathered on their cold stone, obscuring the names once more.

"Imagine living in a country where you can't even read your gravestone...  These people are probably never visited by their families."

The blue orb floated next to Entheo's leg, taking the form of a ghostly cat.  It purred as it's back snuggled against his leg.  Sakuyomi's orb floated next to the grave, illuminating it with a faint red glow. "Everyone will forever be swallowed by the march of time.  These people simply experience it much quicker."

Entheo sighed.  It was so damn cold.

8:AM

It's so damn cold...

As Entheo looked around in the sky, a sudden glimpse of a man caught his eye. Dressed in a red overcoat, he looked small as an ant over the roof of the big church in the graveyard. And yet, if he cared to narrow his gaze he might notice it.

He was looking right at Entheo.

Entheo

The red orb morphed into the full figure of Sakuyomi Gezo.  The two men stared at their target, Entho's eyes tightening to make out the small dot.  "He's coming..."

Shinji

"...Damn."

He couldn't be more than in his early twenties. Unless... Shinji grimaced, thinking about the kind of work he had to put up with. But it was honest work. He took the contract, asked no questions, and the trail led him here. Honestly... he'd much rather go to a tavern and ask for a nice bloody sausage and a warm soup.

But glancing at the guns in his hands... he figured he'd have to repay the loan eventually. So here we stand.

He locked eyes with his target.

And suddenly, kicked off the church's golden rooftop. With that motion, he brought his whole body plummeting downwards, his head headed towards the concrete with speed growing more and more intense. The pressure of the wind, the speed... it managed to get him smiling a little.

Before he flipped his body, red coat riding under him, and slammed his feet on the ground. The floor cracked, and the two men were now on an even ground. Gun on one hand, gun on the other, it was no surprise why he'd be here.

"Nice to meet you kid." No questions, no thinking, just the feel of the coin after the day was done. He lived too long to pick sides. The only side that mattered was the boy's face now facing the end of his pistol. No smile, no joy. Only an empty feeling.

"Hope you feel the same."

Entheo

Entheo backflipped a few feet back, his feet gracefully landing on the tip of a tombstone.  The red orb had vanished, hidden inside his chest.  The two spirits merged together, forming a new one that resided inside of the vessel known as Entheo.  All the knowledge, power and experience of the long-dead warrior flowed into him and the next course of action was clear.

"I take it your not here for a social visit," he said, one eye closed, the other open.  In his hand he held a piece of rubble he caught while flipping. "I have to say, I didn't think i'd meet anyone out in the wilderness, but I suppose everyone has their admirers."

Shinji

Shinji looked surprised... but cracked a small smile. It was far from the mad one of a fiend, or one filled with malice. One might call it playful, but it was more like he was trying to say something like don't die on me.

Which truth be told was pretty cold, because without hesitation he pulled the trigger to shoot straight between the eyes.

Entheo

The bullet was met with a rock pelted with the flick of his wrist.  Already halfway between the two positions, Entheo's fingers closed, a massive guandao forming in his grip.  Eyes wide and his grin wider, he lunged at the man, intent on skewering him.

Shinji

A sudden blur of red and death came rushing towards him, a red cannonball. And just as the bounty charged, he dashed back like a red bullet, kicking off a trail of white snow against... Perhaps I should have asked his name.

BANG BANG BANG

Trying to keep the distance, he used that wave of snow to cover a barrage of bullets, kicking off more with each step, each movement a dance followed with the pull of the trigger. Experienced, that's how his movements flowed. But there was the feeling of death to them. A brutal, honest one.
