The mask slipped back on for a moment.

Taro chuckled as he flowed into her kata.  The duke took the position of her "attacker," delivering a fist to her face, that was actually just him stroking her cheek.  As part of the kata, he was naturally redirected, his arm being twisted behind his own back as she ended up behind him.  Those crimson eyes peered over his shoulder to glance at her and he smiled.  Knowing the kata himself, he flowed out of the movement, twirling in place until their interlocking hands were stretched to their limits.  With a knowing smile, he pulled her in to his broad chest.
