Thorra

A wave of unease flooded into Forest's mind. "I-huh..." Thorra muttered. She really didn't get why what she'd done was wrong. She'd always solved disputes like this. That, or by seducing her rivals. She'd never been so matter of factly and brutally rejected.

It was weirding her out, and she didn't like it. "Humans are difficult. I don't know what to do here anymore... I thought I sort of got it, but I guess not."

She crouched down and began to draw in the pavement with her finger.

Forest

Luckily, you won't be the first person I've taken under my wing, Forest sent to the girl as she got control of her body and rose to her feet.

People are difficult.  Human, Fae, vampire, alien, or other.  Don't just push this on "human".  People are odd.  Strange.  And people feel weird when you're a stranger.  However, you can call him back and apologize, Forest sent as she straightened up what Thorra thought was appropriate clothing.

Aloud she said, "No one knows what to do all the time, Poppet.  People are also awkward, and, on some sort of level, the ones worth knowing know that.  And, sometimes, the best thing is to make amends and agree to disagree, but be civil about it now."

I think she is calling you out.

Entheo's head sunk into his shoulders.  Which one?

Entheo could see the old man's toothy grin within his own soul.  Does it matter?

The young man turned around, placing his palm over one eye, his fingers running through his silky hair.  By now, he was already halfway down the street.  "Oi," he said, letting his hand fall.  "You don't have to listen to her.  By all means, hold me to your foolish godly standard, but don't give up on trying to connect with people.  C'mon, it doesn't have to be a date.  I'll buy you and your host lunch.  Hurry up.  I don't want to have to deal with cops."

With that he turned around and continued walking, fully expecting her to follow.

"These aren't godly standards, they're normal! Jeez! Acting like I'm a god is silly anyway..." Thorra complained. "I'm nowhere close to that level..."

Forest could feel the hammer's apprehension.

[Elf]

Forest

Forest gave Thorra a mental nudge and sent to her, Come on, he said he'd feed us.  Normal food won't really do anything for me, but it might for you.

Aloud she said, "Plus, there may be oranges."

She called out, "We'll take you up on that, Lad!"

Entheo's fused mind tapped into the ancient warriors experiences, remembering the time of family honor.  "Sure.  Normal," he said, waving his arm.  "Back in the BC era it was normal."

Lad?  Do I look like a lad?

I for one think you can pass for a sir.

Thanks Sakuyomi.  Wait, are you only saying that because we are fused?

Well I'm certainly not a lad, so your not a lad.

I'll take it.

Entheo sighed, continuing his walk through the streets.  His entire body flashed and the spirit of Sakuyomi left his body, floating next to him as a red orb.  The two were no longer joined together.

Thorra grumbled. "It's still normal. You just live in a weird world." She muttered, lapsing control of the body back to Forest.

Forest

Do not start quoting 80's songs that a wicked cover was used to advertise a bloody fun video game, Forest thought to herself.

To Thorra she sent, Every world is weird if you look hard enough.  The thing of it is, you are absurdly powerful, Poppet.

She easily caught up to the young man and said, "Well, I'm not that old, but it did bleed into the AC era as well."

"You sound like Sakuyomi," he said, turning to her with lowered eyes.  "Your the host body right?  Are you some kind of ghost, god or monster.  Vampire?  Zombie?"

Entheo placed his hands behind his head, letting his feet guide his path.  While he waited for her response, he looked around.  The place was still on fire.  Doubted they would be able to call an uber or taxi.  No one in their right mind would come to this location.  Hell, they might even assume they were the ones responsible, similar to the godly duo.

"Also, you mind teleporting us to a place called Columbia?  I hear they have some great pizza joints."

Ehhh, I don't know about that. I'm strong, sure, but there are plenty way above me. I'm just a young fledgeling hammer, waiting to be shaped and molded into something more. Thorra wrapped her arms around Forest's neck and pressed herself against her master's back. But I'll listen to you, since you're my wielder, Fore.

[Elf]

Forest

Don't sell yourself short yet, Poppet, Forest sent as she "petted" the girl/hammer draped metaphysically against her back.

To the young man she said, "Yes, I am the 'host body' as you so quaintly put it.  Thorra would probably call me 'the wielder'.  I call myself Forest, and vampire so pizza wouldn't be a good idea."

"Shit."

I wonder what would happen if a vampire ate pizza.

The young man did not respond to the old one this time.

Entheo folded his arms, tilting his head to the side as he considered other options.  "Well," he said closing his eyes to think harder.  "Vampire huh... well what can you eat?  I'm sure Columbia has something good.  I hear the food there is great!  Unhealthy but great!"

Reopening his calm blue eyes, he stared at Forest with his head still tilted.  "Wielder?  So you wield that god girl.  Wow thats crazy.  Wait, so does that mean your actually in charge?  If thats the case, how the hell did you get her to listen to you?"

If that was the case, maybe he was wrong.  It was actually this girl who wanted to fight.  Although, it would explain her attitude.  Goddesses don't like to be controlled by humans.

"I'm not a god, I'm a hammer..." Thorra muttered. She held onto Forest's back like a depressed puppy, eventually wrapping her legs around Forest's waist.

[Elf]

Forest

"Well, technically, you're a divine hammer, right Poppet?  So that's kind of godly, right?" Forest asked as she reached back and petted the sad hammer.

To the young man she grinned and said, "Well, I do like a nip of blood now and again obviously.  Actually, I like fruit.  So wherever you choose as long as they have some absurd fruit dish we're of the good."

She caught up to him and said, "I was kind to her, that's all."

Entheo held his gaze for a moment before smiling.  "Yeah that makes sense," he said, folding his arms behind his head.  "Its always been strange to me how people with so much power always want attention."

Where the hell do we get fruit from?  I eat meat and carbs.

A resteraunt would be nice.  We aren't fused anymore so I forgot what they are called, but those odd modern places where you order food and leave right away.

Take out?

No no.

Fast food?

Yes but healthier.

Hippie fast food?

Sure, close enough.

"Alright well, teleport us to Columbia," he finally said after a second or two of internal dialogue.  "I can find a place within my price range that we can eat at.  Also seriously I hate cops and we have been hanging around here waaaay too long."
