Noeru

Noel gasped. How could she have been so thoughtless? This entire time, Henry had been suffering like this, and she could have helped him! Stupid! Heartless! Foolish! Trash. She heard Jin for a split second before banishing him from her thoughts.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” She exclaimed, putting her hands over his arm and channeling seithr through her body. “I’ll fix that for you!” Her hands began to glow a light blue as a small intricate runed circle appeared over his arm.

Sakura

Sakura internally sighed in relief. She had been so tense she felt like she’d just dodged a bullet. “I’m sure there will be some occasion. Let’s get it, just having these things can make you, well, it can make me happy, at least. What about you?” She asked with an inquisitive look on her face. “Do you agree?”

Rin

Rin bit her lip and added it to the basket.  "I don't see it hurting anything," she said slowly, "And it could be useful . . . "

Sakura

“Mhm! You’ll never know when you’ll need something like that!” Sakura said knowingly, with a spring in her gait. “Now let’s get you a jacket. It can get really really cold here, so you’ll need a warm one.” Sakura began looking around, leading her sister about.

Rin

"I want at least a car length one.  Something that at least covers my bottom.  I hate coats that don't cover my rear," Rin said to Sakura, "Maybe they have a nice double-breasted pea coat in red  . . .  I have one like that at home and I practically live in it from November to March."

Noriko

She shaked the hand of the ex cop. It was colder than it should be and Noriko didn't feel anything like a pulse. She smiled in triumph, knowing that she reached the answer: "So you are a vampire? Never seen a one with an arm like yours. You're interesting, I bet it will be lot of fun hanging out with you~." Or rather, observe her in the natural environment. If she had a reliable way to capture her, she would put her through trials, but Noriko had neither ability to restrain her for sure nor a lab. Less invasive form of research had to suffice.

Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw held his finger up against Sakura, indicating her to wait. To help her make extra sure she understood, he made a text bubble appear above him with ‘WAIT!’ written on it. Nodding, he spoke up in a professional voice that fit more in a radio station than on the phone. Still a pretty cool voice.

“Well well well. Mister Shirou. I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, you have won the lottery! 10 000 000 DOLLARS!!! Hooray. Congratulations mister Shirou, congratulations. But that is not all; you have also won a week-long vacation cruise to Haawai! Very pretty, very nice, lovely beaches, sharks, coconut, hotel, sexy bikini, volcano, yay. And it is not one, but two tickets! You can invite your girlfriend and have the best date ever, seduce her with your sexy puzzle skills!”

Then, he snapped his fingers and turned around, taking a much more somber yet somehow cheeky attitude. His smile somehow grew larger, unproportionally so.

“The bad news is, your girlfriend has been stolen and is now held for ransom! Kidnapping, terrible! Happened to my daughter once, kinda never came back. Oh no, goodness gracious, what to do!?” He said with a disheartening tone, wiping a tear off.

Seras

Seras frowned, deciding at this moment that she was starting to not like the woman in front of her.

"Congratulations," she remarked, "Now, how about we get home?"

"I can't exactly take public transportation like this," Seras continued, managing to keep her voice even, "So I suppose we'll have to walk."

Noriko

"There is no reason to hurry up unless the sun will rise soon. Though, you maybe can do something about the sunlight. You had a daytime job after all, right?" she remarked. Unless the police force had only night shifts here, there was good chance the vampire had ways to deal with the rays of Earth's star.

Seras

Seras raised an eyebrow at the girl.

"I'm not worried about the sun," Seras said, "But this," she gestured with her shadow arm, "Is pretty conspicuous. Not to mention that I should probably get a change of clothes. And of course I had a daytime job. I just got fired from it."

Noriko

"Don't worry, I'm sure you can become a bodyguard or a detective if you put your mind to that. I'm good at ferreting out secrets, so maybe I'll be of some use. I also don't mind whole blood drinking thing, so if you are not too greedy I guess I can donate." she nonchalantly said. Blood was more important to vampires than money, so likely she hang around with her longer if she also fed her host. Within reason.

Seras

The vampire considered Noriko's offer for a few moments. A handy supply of blood would be quite useful, though certain precautions would have to be taken. However, this wasn't the place to be talking about those.

"Well, if you're going to offer, we're going to need to set a few rules about that," Seras said, "But let's talk about that at home. Now hold on."

With that, Seras grabbed the woman with her flesh and blood arm, holding the girl securely against her while her shadow-arm turned into a pair of wings. The vampire then leaped from the earth, her wings kicking in to send them darting through the maze of buildings, reduced to a red streak as they flew back towards the vampire's apartment.

Noriko

In that moment, she realized she couldn't do anything if the vampire wanted have her way with her, so quick this creature was. Fortunately for her, she made up for her overwhelming power with a simple mind and naivety. Maybe that's how she survived as a vampire, any weak vampire with such mindset would have a lifespan of a fruit fly. Unable to resist, she gave up, her mental discipline helping her cope with the journey without showing fear.

"I would appreciate it more if you warned me beforehand" she grumbled a bit, as they landed and she felt the solid ground under her boots. "So, what's those rules you want to set about whole blood drinking deal?"

Seras

"Oh quit whining," Seras shot back, "I told you to hold on."

Landing on the balcony, Seras led them into the apartment, the place looking fairly ordinary by all accounts, if a bit sparse.

"Take a seat," Seras said, gesturing to a nearby sofa, before sitting down on the recliner perpendicular to it, not particularly bothered by her current state of dress.

"Okay, the rules are actually pretty simple," Seras said, "You'll have to give me blood yourself. Unless you want me to turn you, I can't actually bite you. Just keep it in a vial or something if you all else fails. Aside from that, you'll have to sleep on the couch for a bit until I can get you a proper bed, though I should warn you that I've only got one bedroom."

Noriko

"Hmm..." she pondered the vampire's words while sitting in the chair with her legs crossed. "Unless I wanted, huh? If I asked you to turn me, what would be your answer?" She had considered vampirism as her path to immortality if she couldn't take a better option. So she wanted to survey the vampire. There was some risk she could take her words as her agreement, but getting turned by quite a potent vampire against will still wasn't a bad deal.
