ALPHA

"I've barely even been here an hour, I think," Alpha said to Noel, before the other party, Mordred, introdcued herself. "I'm Alpha The Bloodedge. Pleasure, but... Where are we, exactly? The first guy I met wasn't exactly helpful."

Sakagami Kenzo

The demon's eyes suddenly widened in fear, stunned for a second. He had snapped back for even an instant to reality, and realized he had done something unforgivable.

Before he could have reacted, or rather, without him reacting and all, the demon was spun around, yelping in pain and jolting as it was smashed to the ground. For a moment, there was silence. Then the dust began to clear, and a small whimpering sound could be heard. Kenzo was no longer growing, and his monstruous features were gone to their gentler form.

But instead of the warmness he usually carried, the poor demon looked absolutely terrified, not even looking at his opponent or perhaps even conscious of the fact they were fighting. He was staring at his trembling clutched hands and sniffled with a shaky pained voice, a gentle stream of blood trickling from his mouth.

"I-I'm sorry..."

And for a second, the demon truly looked scared. But then, fear turned into grief, and Kenzo proceeded to cry. At first it was a barely audible choked sound, but quickly it grew into a sad mixture of bawling and whimpering as he clutched at his himself as if to shield himself from the girl.

Or to shield her from him.
The reaction was instant, practiced, drilled into Akatsuki's soul through her wartime experience against abyssal ships. It was a reaction set deeper than Nagato's MMA training, deeper than practice battles, deeper than anything else, for it was forged in repeated life-or-death battles.

The great capital ships of the abyssal fleet could talk, in pitiful moans, scornful cries... and crying apologies. She could no longer react to them.

"Not a chance!" She cried out, punching the rock they were standing on with incredible force. It cracked between them, giving Kenzo's footing a smaller surface, and she immediately put her hands in the cracks and started lifting.

"You're not going to fool me..." She lifts the table.

"With tricks like that!" She flips the table.

It goes flying upward, Kenzo still on board because of his half-encrusted position and inertia, and Akatsuki rubs her fists together, increasing the output of the Raiden gloves to their ultimate extreme. Electricity from them coursed throughout the rigging and into the ground, making quite a lightshow.

The rock fell back down towards her, and she punched.

      Akatsuki Punch!
"Burning Dawn Crusher!"

She yelled as she struck Kenzo, and lightning tore everywhere, splitting the rock it two, crashing into the ground and trees, and bursting high into the sky, barely scratching the clouds. In an instant, her entire world was naught but the sound of destruction and a white light.

She looked around after the flash had subsided. Naturally, none of the rock had fallen on her. It was scattered here and there, and a bit of everywhere. The nearby scenery, likewise, faced similar destruction. Scorch marks lay nearly everywhere, and a couple trees sizzled and went red at the though of maybe bursting into flame sometime soon, burnt by the unfocused lightning.

She looked around but couldn't find what she was looking for, so she activated her radar, and followed its blips until she found Kenzo, lying down, facing upwards. Relaxing, no doubt! A man of his speed and strength couldn't have taken that much damage off of her attacks, even if that last one, improvised as it was, was the strongest she ever struck.

For him to be relaxed thus, the sparring was no doubt done and over with.

"So?" She said to the relaxing(?) man. "How was the strength of a first-class lady?"

The demon barely screamed in desperation, tears swelling. He tried to tell her to stop, but suddenly everything went white, then black. He barely felt something hitting his back, and then a muffled sound, but there was no response.

AKATSUKI

No response. That was... weird.

"Kenzo?" She asked again. Again, silence.

She rushed to his side and got down to her knees in a slide. He looked hurt, badly, not relaxing at all!

"Kenzo!" She cried and shook him, until she remembered military training, barely used do to the spcifications of shipgirls. She checked his pulse and breathing. He was alive. He was alive, but he was so damaged!

He needed a bath! He needed an instant repair bucket! He needed a remodel! He needed to get up!

"Kenzo..." She said sadly, thinking of what to do next.

Kenzo

Kenzo’s senses still laid in darkness, but despite that, somehow, Akatsuki’s tearful words reached him. He couldn’t let her be sad for her sake, no matter what. He made a promise, a promise that he would never stay silent to a child’s tears again.

So he mustered every ounce of his strength, his heart was filled with…DETERMINATION!

And finally, he managed to speak. Weakly, pained, but despite his agony and sadness, he managed to put it all aside for her. He sounded light-hearted, and very exhausted.

“I’m fine, I’m fine. Just a little sleepy, that’s all.”

Michael

Of course, he'd been rejected the first time around. Even after defeating that strong-willed woman time and time again, she'd rejected him. It had been a fun fight, though, what with all the curious abilities she'd displayed. Magic, he'd been expecting, but for her to send him flying with a shout? Now that was new. Heaving a resigned sigh at how things had turned out, Michael continued on his way, content. They'd meet again, he was sure of that. He'd have more chances to try to start up a new school here, and she would definitely be one whose training he'd see to himself. Wondering to himself about when he'd last happened across someone with her sheer strength of will, Michael found himself wandering through an odd forest when the familiar sounds of battle rang out.

Grinning with anticipation, Michael sped up to a brisk jog, continuing on his way towards the sounds of destruction. Enhancing himself, he started moving even faster when a roar of destruction rang out, lightning tickling the clouds above. The immortal pushed himself faster still, before slowing down suddenly, realizing he had come to a clearing. Letting the Enhancement wind down, the immortal watched as a curious girl who looked like she was cosplaying as...a ship?

...Well that's a new one...

More curious still was the destruction around them, the odd girl and the defeated-looking man with practically crimson hair being the likely culprits. Everything looked far too fresh to be the remnants of an old fight. Taking in the utter carnage they'd wrought on their surroundings, the immortal looked back towards them before deciding to move in, noting that the man looked like he needed medical attention.

"Excuse me," the immortal called out as he drew closer, his posture utterly serene as he approached, "If you'll allow me, I can help. I have some training in first aid, which he looks like he really needs at the moment."

Forest

Forest stepped back when Rikuyo did.  The girl had already proven she was impatient, so Forest had to be patient.  Not that patience is my strong suit either, but she's so bloody powerful with those chi attacks.  It's easier to use that against her than to have her defend against me.

She took a slight stance, turning her body to the side to make herself less of a target and to defend more easily.

Rikuyo

The sound of explosion didn't go unnoticed by the red haired girl. Hmph, I should have picked one of them she thought, as in the hindsight it seemed that Kenzo and Akatsuki-chan had a more fun fight. Damn it, she really wanted a fight that wouldn't be a piece of cake even in her transformed form.

She had to finish this one, though. The vampire girl didn't make the first move and was on guard, so she had to break it herself. She knew of the technique she demonstrated before, so she wouldn't be as surprised as when she first performed it. And concentrating chi in her first would merely knock back.

Then she realized about something that could work. What if she concentrated her chi in a finger or two? It could have been more like a water under high pressure that could pierce holes rather than an oceanic wave. The dead girl relied on blood for survival. If she started bleeding out, she could weaken. It was worth trying out.

Rikuyo closed her distance enough and pointed out at Forest swiftly, releasing more condensed chi. Still invisible to "naked" eye, it wasn't certainly as potent as something she could pull off transformed.

Erica

The construct quickly analyzed the situation as the interloper dodged through the stream of projectiles with impossible flexibility. While the Needle would eventually tire him out she wanted to resolve this quickly. Erica descended down onto the ground as the Needle wrapped around her arm and formed the Lance. With a single thrust she instantly accelerated and moved close enough for the black cape to then alter themselves into a set of Claws.

One was swung with mechanical efficiency to tear the stranger apart while the other waited to intercept any movement. It didn't matter how flexible he was if she covered any attempt he could make at an advance.

Forest

Forest heard the sound of the explosion outside as well.  What the bloody hell are they doing out there?

Hmph, I should have picked one of them, Forest heard Rikuyo thought and the blond raised an eyebrow.  Then she charged towards Forest with her fingers pointed.  Forest didn't know exactly what the girl was doing, but since she had been using chi stuff before, the vampire wasn't going to take any chances.  So she side stepped Rikuyo and kicked at the back of the girl's knee.

Fine, I'm not entertaining you, but maybe you'll learn a lesson after this, Forest thought.

Garou XIII

That was stupid...

If he wasn't constantly grinning, Garou would have grinned. For her to discard her ranged advantage and come charging, it seemed she was fodder like the rest. Tough fodder, but no different than an ordinary meal for Garou the monster.

His wounds, eyes and blood glew red and he immediately spun with inhuman speed, far beyond anything he had displayed, and pushed on the moving claw to gain momentum, closing in and grabbing the girl's face with his other hand in a swift motion.

His hold was ruthless, as tight as a vice.

"Gotcha."

And immediately, dozens of bloody thorns instantly erupted from his wounds, like crimson branches as hard as steel and as sharp as a blade, impaling the girl mercilessly from multiple angles all over her body.

Noel Vermillion

Noel took the small bottle from Mordred with a smile.

Just a day, huh? It seemed like everyone she knew, and a few she didn't, had decided to just show up today for no explicable reason. And around her, too.

What's up with that? She wondered. This city's a weird place. She thought to herself.

"A day huh? Anyway, um, so you're a Murakumo Unit like me?"

"I- I see" jin said as they moved through the store. The people around them were still giving Oka weird looks, Where are these hair dyes even?

They finally spotted a corner of the store devoted to it, hair dyes of almost all colors could be seen.

"After we're done here maybe you'd like to have something to eat at a café? I'm getting a bit hungry myself."

Corporal Blackburn:

The hiss was what caused Mathew to turn around. Somehow, the Genestealer not only survived being cut in half, but reattached itself. This kind of healing far outdone what the larger Tyranid biomorphs were capable of. If only he had a Meltagun or a Flamer...

Beckett was speaking nonsense, but "Get the fuck out of here" sounded quite nice. The Dragoon holstered the chainsword while bringing the volleygun to bear. "Okay," the Corporal began with a whisper just loud enough for his squadmate to hear, "There is a Leman Russ at the rally point. We'll shoot and scoot until we get there: Scoot while it heals, shoot when it starts moving again. Sound good?"

Vangualma

The woman walked trough the house, touching the walls and letting the touch of the texture remain familiar to her. Finally, she arrived in the living room and had finally found Sakura. She seemed distracted with her lover, so she walked discreetly next to the couch and cleared her throat, sliding her finger on the sofa smoothly before speaking coldly.

"Forgive me for interrupting your pleasantries, Sakura. An odd looking wraith calling itself Archer has appeared before Rin. Apparently an acquaintance of sorts, would you know anything about it?"

Then she took a breath and widened her eyes for a moment. Then, she sniffed the air with a look of confusion.

"What is this smell?"
