Sakagami Kenzo
The demon's eyes suddenly widened in fear, stunned for a second. He had snapped back for even an instant to reality, and realized he had done something unforgivable.
Before he could have reacted, or rather, without him reacting and all, the demon was spun around, yelping in pain and jolting as it was smashed to the ground. For a moment, there was silence. Then the dust began to clear, and a small whimpering sound could be heard. Kenzo was no longer growing, and his monstruous features were gone to their gentler form.
But instead of the warmness he usually carried, the poor demon looked absolutely terrified, not even looking at his opponent or perhaps even conscious of the fact they were fighting. He was staring at his trembling clutched hands and sniffled with a shaky pained voice, a gentle stream of blood trickling from his mouth.
"I-I'm sorry..."
And for a second, the demon truly looked scared. But then, fear turned into grief, and Kenzo proceeded to cry. At first it was a barely audible choked sound, but quickly it grew into a sad mixture of bawling and whimpering as he clutched at his himself as if to shield himself from the girl.
Or to shield her from him.
The reaction was instant, practiced, drilled into Akatsuki's soul through her wartime experience against abyssal ships. It was a reaction set deeper than Nagato's MMA training, deeper than practice battles, deeper than anything else, for it was forged in repeated life-or-death battles.
The great capital ships of the abyssal fleet could talk, in pitiful moans, scornful cries... and crying apologies. She could no longer react to them.
"Not a chance!" She cried out, punching the rock they were standing on with incredible force. It cracked between them, giving Kenzo's footing a smaller surface, and she immediately put her hands in the cracks and started lifting.
"You're not going to fool me..." She lifts the table.
"With tricks like that!" She flips the table.
It goes flying upward, Kenzo still on board because of his half-encrusted position and inertia, and Akatsuki rubs her fists together, increasing the output of the Raiden gloves to their ultimate extreme. Electricity from them coursed throughout the rigging and into the ground, making quite a lightshow.
The rock fell back down towards her, and she punched.
Akatsuki Punch!"Burning Dawn Crusher!"
She yelled as she struck Kenzo, and lightning tore everywhere, splitting the rock it two, crashing into the ground and trees, and bursting high into the sky, barely scratching the clouds. In an instant, her entire world was naught but the sound of destruction and a white light.
She looked around after the flash had subsided. Naturally, none of the rock had fallen on her. It was scattered here and there, and a bit of everywhere. The nearby scenery, likewise, faced similar destruction. Scorch marks lay nearly everywhere, and a couple trees sizzled and went red at the though of maybe bursting into flame sometime soon, burnt by the unfocused lightning.
She looked around but couldn't find what she was looking for, so she activated her radar, and followed its blips until she found Kenzo, lying down, facing upwards. Relaxing, no doubt! A man of his speed and strength couldn't have taken that much damage off of her attacks, even if that last one, improvised as it was, was the strongest she ever struck.
For him to be relaxed thus, the sparring was no doubt done and over with.
"So?" She said to the relaxing(?) man. "How was the strength of a first-class lady?"
