Michael

Seeing that Oren was simply diving back under to let the ground take the brunt of the waves, Michael instead brought the staff up, letting the hook snag on a branch and swinging up to the tree cover. Oren, however, proceeded to crush through the tree, sending it tipping over. Inspiration struck the immortal at the realization of how bull-headed she was being in her pursuit, leading Michael to leap for more trees, deciding that he might as well lead her on through more trees and see if that could do anything to faze her. It was just a matter of seeing how many trees it would take.

Forest

"This place does have a mayor but he's more of a harried puppet than anything," Forest said with a shake of her head.  She had met the mayor once with Saber.  He'd been that annoying combination of randy and afraid of her, so he really didn't earn Forest's respect.  If anything the poor sod won her ire.

Forest clapped her hands together and said, "Well, I don't know much about wine, but I do know a lot about produce.  However, it would just be a matter which one was closer.  Which means I can look on my phone to see if there's a liquor store or a grocer closest."

Corbin

"Hey, Kuro, you cut that out right now.  Let's just call it a draw, you're both badasses, and get you both to a medic to get patched up," Corbin said, making a placating gesture to Kuro.

Then he stepped between the two women, trying to make eye contact with Kuro.

Darcy Hugh

The priest was suddenly grabbed by the head like a sack of potatoes, before he could even react a flick of the woman's fingers spelled his sure doom. The poor man was cruelly sent sprawling back and crashed into his chair before tumbling down on the ground.

"Am I so useless that I can't even love..."

He wept weakly like a drunk, trying to reach for one more shot as he laid on the ground. However, he was too weak, defeated, crushed by the monster woman. Even though his body was still alive, his heart had been shattered beyond repair.

Thus he muttered his last words before going out cold.

Garou XIII

Garou groaned in annoyance and his heart began to beat anew. What a pain, for him to ruin his epic surprise like that and prevent from pulling a one up from behind. Did that fool really have no sense of drama?

"Huh? I ain't that desperate, dumbass. That attack was just so lame that I happened to fall asleep. Well, I guess if you look at it that way, I did die of boredom." He said tiredly, rising up nonchalantly and wiping off the ice and dust off his tattered clothes.

What was most terrifying was not the fact that he still stood, such a thing could be attributed to determination or fighting spirit. No, whatever was standing in front of the hero was no longer of the realm of humans. For no human, no matter how strong, would have been able to walk off such an attack. To even consider such a thing as a possibility was nothing short of insane.

And yet, he was not only standing, but he was fine.

Somehow, that monster had managed to laugh off the ice that could have frozen the flames of hell itself. Indeed, notions such as hell and heaven meant little to that man, that beast that had already cast away the realms of logic.

Had it been anyone, Jin Kisaragi would have surely come victorious.  Perhaps if the ice did not break, he could have at least been immobilized. If that hero was to try to freeze over that fiend's blood boiling with rage, he should have at least made his attack a thousand times colder.

For coldness implied a lack of motion, this frozen hell was nothing more than a breeze compared to his burning rage. Compared to his hate, that frozen prison was comfortable.

For that small instant, his body, his blood had begun to boil and heat up at ridiculous degrees, far beyond what any material could manage.  It was a suicidal, reckless maneuver that would have ultimately resulted in turning him into scalding ashes, vaporising his shell into nothing.

Simply put, no one with the slightest sense of self preservation who valued his own life could, or would have done such a thing.

But it was because the ice was so immesurably, uncontrollably cold that he had been able to spend all his energy into that simple maneuver and fight that attack with all he had, to reach temperatures reminiscing of the sun without having to scarifice his body and vanish.

And even so, his body had still lost, for no matter how you looked at it, the wounds running all over his body spelt his defeat. No matter how you looked at it, he could not win. And yet, was to shrug off his ultimate attack in such a fashion truly a victory for the hero?

For as monstruous as it was, there was a different quality to his smile. No, unlike before, it had no cruelty, malice or ill intention to it. It was almost sad. For at least a moment, what stood before the hero was not Garou the monster, but a human.

"Sorry, but I saw through your trick. Your cold justice... won't reach me anymore." He said in a surprisingly calm, almost peaceful manner. He had used most of his magic energy, but his body was not any weaker.

And so, the villain untimately charged in once more, closing in to deal another strike and resume his senseless, suicidal fight.

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo grinned from ear to ear and finally ended her torment, settling for another hug as he rubbed his masked face over hers in a loving fashion.

"Hihi, how adorable."

Petra

Without further ado, the saint headed back to the bar, this time not putting on the show back when she forcefully grabbed Dante's arm. As she closed in to the establishment, she noticed that neither Rin nor Liseth were there. At first she thought that they both left, but she quickly realised someone put up a small boundary field. Petra didn't know for what purpose it was set up, but even if it was not too shabby, any modern magecraft was in the end useless against her. It would have been a cakewalk for her to just to slip through without being hampered by it in any manner. So she just did, nonchalantly. Ha, just as she expected, it was Tohsaka's doing. Why else then she should sit there with Liseth, surrounded by it?

"Huh, got anything to hide, Tohsaka?" She grinned at the raven haired girl, her arms crossed.

Gadreel

This Julius' thoughts were ones that made the angel feel ambivalent. Anyone having authority over anyone else was a potential slippery slope toward tyranny. However, it was also not his place to intervene with such matters unless the result was in fact a particularly damaging one for human life and happiness.

He would wait until he had a more accurate picture of the situation in Nexus through his own personal observations to make a judgement. Until then he patiently waited for the two with him to decide on where to focus their efforts, and kept their assailants restrained. Until, at long last, the police came to take them away.

Muramasa Katase

He stopped. Her shell was able to calm down and breathe, slumping against the giant man's chest while she did. At least he has the decency to be comfortable, the sword thought to herself as her actual form, her blade, cooled from the heat of his 'assault.' Now there was just this very strange feeling from her shell's face. It wasn't unpleasant, of course, or she would object strenuously to it.

Hmph.

"Haaa... how did you even figure out that this Muramasa Katase is an original Muramasa, Sakagami-san??" she asked him once the puppet's lungs had enough air to speak again. She rested the hand of her shell on her hilt to steady herself further.

Ron

Wolf-blooded? That might describe Anne, at least now. She had been showing some strange new powers around him lately. Not that her abilities weren't strange to begin with, but strange for her anyway. "She can do a lot of things. Most of it involves making weapons out of... well, energy."

He shrugged, and lured Rikuyo away from the buffet tables back to the actual table, where glasses of water waited for them. "And to be honest, she could beat me in a fight if I don't transform. Sometimes even if I do."

Mordred

"Don't bother, she's like a stubborn mule. I'm not a sore loser, so whatever, I yield and whatnot." She told Corbin, supporting herself on the shaft of her spear. Honestly, they were both losers. Mordred lost the duel, but Kuro with such a mentality had poor prospects of making it if she ran into opponents like the black knight she had displeasure to run into. She cared not for her wounds and seemed like refusal to give up could one day cost her dearly. "Gonna lend me an arm? The longer I keep standing around and bleeding out the harder it's for me to walk around..."

Sakagami Kenzo

The oni let the sword calm down and release the built up demonic energies. Of course, that didn't stop him from gently stroking and playing with her black hair, it was very beautiful and smooth to the touch. After a while, she seemed to have settled down on his chest, which he really liked and didn't object to one bit.

"Huh? What a strange question. What kind of swordsmith would I be if I couldn't tell that much? Don't be silly, the moment I laid eyes on you I had already fallen for you. Besides..."

Suddenly, he helped her straighten up next to him, holding her tightly next to him before holding up a huge jug of sake.

"We have lots to do! Cmon, these drinks won't eat themselves! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" He roared heartily, ready to pour her another.

Count Greyskull

Greyskull pondered for a while, but ultimately decided that this was for the best. Truth be told, it was fortunate that of all people, he would come to interrupt...

"V-very well! It's dangeorous to go alone, take this!" He announced dramatically before handing her his staff, or rather holding out his arms towards her with the staf floating, as if waiting for her to grab it.

Rikuyo

She was thirsty after stuffing her belly with all sorts of food, so she could clear throat with something. "Really? It sounds like roundabout thing to do. I just punch, kick and bite things, and sometimes just blast my chi at people. I've no need for a gun or sword." She said, then guzzling on the water in her glass like the savage she was.

Julius

It seemed that Sir Gadre had nothing to tell on the topic of where they could heed. Maybe he just agreed with his lady. "I will rely on your knowledge then, Lady Forest." Honestly, he wasn't completely ignorant about herbs, it's just that his knowledge limited to what could affect monsters. He couldn't cook garlic, but he knew some vampires reacted adversely to that herb. Maybe he should buy himself some. He never knew if he ran into some evil undead overlord who scared the population into submission!

"A puppet? When his term ends, if it's not indefinite? As much as I would prefer monarchy personally, it's seems this place is one of city republics like Venice. Somebody who both upholds ideas of fairness and is a skilled governer should be elected." Julius never once thought about himself being a viable candidate. He wasn't a merchant, but a nobleman after all.

Muramasa Katase

Fallen for me? So quickly? This is a very strange creature.

It was, however, quite agreeable to have someone acknowledge her beauty and power so adamantly even when they knew the truth about her. Especially when it was because he knew the truth about her. It remained to be seen what this Sakagami Kenzo planned to do about it beyond manhandle her puppet body, but so far it was ... not unpleasant.

Rather than waste the effort of moving away from the giant man Katase instead had her shell settle back down against him, and hold her cup up to receive the next round. "Well, that certainly puts you a step above all of the other swordsmiths I know, Sakagami-san."

And so, they drank. They drank a great deal, with much variety, until Katase could feel her shell beginning to slow down from it all. A quick reinforcement of demonic power fixed that issue, and so she kept up with Sakagami Kenzo just fine.

Ron

"Hey, don't knock it if it works," he said, chiding her gently before pouring water down his throat to wash down some of the meat and rice. It was much easier to eat now that they were at a table, too. When he stopped, he continued talking. "A weapon you can't disarm might as well be your fist."

Rikuyo was a simple creature, huh? That was more and more obvious with every verbal exchange.

Jeanne

What went wrong? it would be easier to talk about what didn't go wrong. Jeanne shook her head at the thoughts about that war, she didn't really want to think about, not now when she couldn't even have any liquor. "This means we have a mission, a mission to find proper liquor so that I can bestow the divine truth upon you, as taught since the days of the apostles."

With that the blonde woman forcefully pulled her two companions out of the kitchen and into the hallway. "Beware, this a daunting quest like no other, all of us may not return, but fear not. Even though we may walk in the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear any evil, for the LORD is our shephard."

Kuro

The white haired girl stared at Corbin for a moment, as if she was looking at him for the first time. Suddenly, her sword fell to the ground, hitting it with a metallic clang sound before it evaporated into particles of light. Kuro fell to her knees, her head was angled towards the ground leaving her face in shadow. She almost started saying something a few times but stopped at the last moment. Finally after a few cycles of repititon something was heard from her.

"I...I'm sorry." Her body started shaking and a scream was heard.

"WHAT AM I DOING HERE!" The girl's fist hit the floor with full force, without a doubt leaving a mark on it.

Rikuyo

"Can't be disarmed? Ya know, you just cut off the arm. Can she regenerate?" She asked Ron. If she couldn't, than crippling her like that would hamper her abilities. She would be actually surprised if his teacher could use weapons when literally disarmed.

Sakura and Shirou

Sakura and Shirou smiled at Irisviel's amused response to their question, nodding in understanding. Before they could say anything, though, they were distracted by a rather odd sight. As Shinobu released Medaka and approached Irisviel, a new set of clothes appeared on the blue-haired girl, covering her mostly-nude body. Meanwhile, Shinobu, in a matter-of-fact way, pointed out Irisviel's non human nature.

The two of them watched the conversation between the two, noticing that Medaka had walked next to them and was eying them curiously. Before they could ask her what was going on, though, she turned to address them first.

"You guys are mages correct?  What are your specialties?"  she asked.

Sakura nodded and smiled.

"Yes, that is correct, we are both magic users. My speciality is in shadow magic", she said, holding out her hand and summoning up a small shadow creature, which began to dance around in a cute manner.

"I can create familiars like these, and I can create shadow ribbons to bind things. My magic is most useful against spirits, though", she added, before turning to Shirou and smiling, indicating that it was his turn to speak.

"My speciality is swords", he said. "I can create a copy of almost any sword that I have seen."

Unlike Sakura, however, Shirou chose not to give a demonstration. After all, his magical energy was more limited, and he never knew for sure if he might need it before he could get a top-up from his beloved wife.

"What about you?" Shirou added. "How did you make those clothes appear?"

The Needle back into its neutral state as she gently grasped the smaller construct's hands. Her grip was so light that it would be hard to believe that she could exert the same terrible force that the Mantle did with the same dainty appendage. "I am already aware of both of my purposes. However, I will help you find your own as well. Will you allow me to do so?"

Oren

The earth dragon was tearing ancient trees into splinters as she tore her way after the stick man. In fact, it was almost fun! Maybe she would only eat half of him when she caught him. Butt as she rampaged and trampled the flora and fauna alike underfoot she began to notice something odd. A swaying in the branches. A curl of fire spiraling into the air.

Ehh. It probably wasn't important anyways. Well, that was what she thought before the forest suddenly stilled and a wall of fire and wood spiraled into the sky. A confused sound left the dragon's mouth before Oren reminded herself of where exactly she was.

The broken trees fused together and formed a mighty titan. Its head was an amalgamation of a bear and a dragon's and its entire upper body was burning and crowned in fire. Its bottom was made of shifting roots that traversed the ground with ease. A bright, red-green light glowed inside of it. The beating heart of the manifestation.

Oren precariously balanced on her small hind legs and roared a challenge at the elemental. The elemental, on the other hand, was quite lacking in respect for theatrics as a burning paw was swung at her underbelly. The dragon roared as it fell backwards just in time to dodge the paw and slipped beneath the earth before instantly reemerging to bite off some of the appendage. Ancient teeth crushed and tore off charred wood, but in its territory the elemental was strong, so strong. The appendage was already regrowing and as it shoved Oren back with charge its head unleashed a wave of fire towards Michael.
