"Ah well, here's for trying," the vampire said with a shrug before frowning at the piece of underwear.  "Besides, it might bunch weird back there, ruining the whole silhouette . . ."

Truth be told she was stalling.  Not just for sundown, but to biting him.  She had rarely bit someone she had been attracted to due to potential awkwardness.  You know, I'd like them to like me for me, not that my bite gets their rocks off bloody hard . . .

Eldritch Abominations?  She could handle; after all she was friends with Wynn of all people.  However biting a supernatural that she liked?  That was dangerous territory.

"What about these?" she asked, picking up a pack of boxer briefs from a trustworthy name brand that were "masculine" colors such as muted blue, green, gray, black, and a rich plum that Forest thought he'd look smashing in.  Which made her look away with a lopsided grin.

Jin

Oka looked pretty sorry as she started apologizing for teasingly him so earlier. "Don't worry, maybe I over...." He suddenly stopped talking mid sentence as he suddenly whispered instead. "We're being watched." He said it quite fast and much lower than his previous tone. He appeared completely calm as he said so, not giving away any signs of suspicion.

Jin then continued in the same tone of voice as before, clearly in attempt to make it seem that he had just been gathering his thoughts."...Overreacting Oka, we should get back on track. You'll really like the surprise."

Emily

"True," the Changeling conceded, "But I'd like to be able to move under my own power first."

In the end, however, impatience got the better of Emily once more, the Changeling employing Gabriel's help to move her next to the hotel phone, mercifully placed near the bed. Picking up the phone, the Changeling took a moment to check her own phone for Mordred's contact information, noting that her own reception out here was nothing to write home about, and dialed her fellow Changeling's number, waiting for Mordred to pick up.

"Well, we should get back before Liseth explodes around Archer.  She's kind of shy from what I've seen of her, and a guy like that would probably start teasing her because he can," Rin said with a sigh and a shake of her head.

She smiled and said, "And I'm kind of hungry, the strawberry sundae I got really wasn't enough."

Sakura Matou

"Archer's not going to bother Liseth, don't be ridiculous." Sakura chastised her sister. "Shirou wouldn't do that to someone." She flicked her sister's forehead in disapproval at this insinuation. "But yes, we should feed you. You were very bad, didn't anyone ever teach you not to eat dessert before dinner?" Sakura glowered at her in mock disapproval.

Jin

Oka tensed up and looked around as soon as Jin told her they were being watched. She put her hand to Wormy's pokeball, and held it ready, ready to protect herself. "Really? Who is it?" She whispered with a worried expression, unsure of how to act.

"Hehe- I hope so." She responded to Jin. "Surprises are usually fun." She forced a smile onto her face, hoping they'd get through this without being attacked.

Rin

Rin yelped as she was flicked before pointing at Sakura.  "Shirou wouldn't, but Archer might.  Archer's older, he got over that whole awkward shyness phase.  You have really no idea of how much of a tease he is.  When I first summoned him I burned through a command seal to get him to 'obey' because he wasn't listening to me."

She chuckled at the memory and shook her head.  "Luckily, it actually kind of worked so it wasn't a total waste.  Now, as for eating desert first, I can.  Because I'm an adult."

Medaka Kurokami

Several minutes passed before Medaka's eyelids gently opened.  The first thing she noticed as light entered her eye's was Shinobu, tentatively watching her.  "I assume that since I am alive it worked correct?"  She asked, not moving from her position on the bed.

Mordred

"The problem is exactly that they can blend pretty well. They use the blood they steal from humans to fake being alive. Though it's far from perfect and if you are attentive enough or they are sloppy you will notice some suspicious things. Like lack of breath or pulse, for example." And some vampires were also really good at pretending they are something they are not. Even trying to set themselves as someone good, something that deeply disturbed the changeling. Those monsters had no place in her or this world. That wannabe vigilante vampire shall pay for her deception.

The internal tangent of Mordred's got interrupted by Breeze questioning her about her powers. Naturally, she couldn't give her full answer yet, but she had always some ready explanations that didn't reveal whole truth.

"It's magic, Breeze. I have affinity for the element of fire and have learned how to harness the magic coming from the Sun itself. I can selfstrengthen myself to a degree too." She didn't bring up her manipulation of luck. Granting luck and cursing someone with misfortune were elements of the same coin, and mentioning such powers could make people potentially suspicious of her. Better to pretend that was part of her skill and competence. "I'm still a warrior and a knight before a magician though."

Mob Boss

"S-sorry!" He blurted out before quickly letting go as if her hand were a poisonous snake.

For a moment, he looked on the verge of tears. "I didn't mean it so please don't be mad. It's just, I don't usually get to t-talk much. I was excited about having a friend, I'm sorry for being bad."

Auspicious Breeze

"Ahh, so you really are a sorceress! You would get lots of land and riches back in Ysyr for that," Breeze said, grinning as she nodded and took in everything. It was easier to talk about the nice stuff first and just kinda nod about the rest until she thought it through. "That's really all you need to get ahead there!"

She switched to the next topic, back to vampires, because it was less sad for her than thinking about stuff that led back to her mistress right now.

"Well, don't worry, Mordred," the Solar brawler said to her, managing to smile pretty brightly. She clenched one of her hands into a fist in front of her. "According to all the smart people back home, I'm Exalted - Chosen by the god of the Sun to fight for justice when I rescued my mistress from faerie pirates who were going to steal everyone's souls! So if vampires can't handle sunlight, I can definitely beat them. Though ah, I mostly punch things - really hard."

Sakura mercilessly flicked her sister's forehead again, hitting her in the same spot she'd hit before. "And adults can eat dessert before dinner, but that doesn't mean they should!" Sakura continued reprimanding her. "They're supposed to know better than that and give their bodies the nutrients they need rather than damaging sugars!" Sakura took ahold of Rin's hand and began pulling her sister out of the room. "Now, you'd better eat your entire plate, Nee-san, or you'll be in biiig trouble." She said with only the tiniest of smirks on her face.

Oren

The Fae was listening very closely to the information. She wasn't going to share what she was. That was forbidden. She could only answer that if someone asked her the right questions first. "Ohh. So you're a god's champion. That makes a lot of sense! I haven't hear about any sun gods though. Well, not any real ones anyways. But I guess there must be one if you're here. And don't worry about that. There are only a few problems you can't solve by hitting something hard enough."

Julius

Of noble birth or not, a child was still a child, so how could he get her into the mess that he was meant to solve? Revealing his true purpose and risking wellbeing of overly curious child would weigh on his conscience more than omitting truth or telling a white lie. But he would worry about that a while later. Courtesy demanded of him to answer with a proper greeting of his own, so he got off his horse. 

"I'm Count Julius von Richter, at your service. My apologies for my hastiness, but the matter I have to attend is quite grave." He did realize that the sword wielding gentleman he met might have been pursuing the same goal elsewhere, but he couldn't simply leave this quest to a single person. The more people worked towards the same goal, even if seperately, the higher was the likehood that the mission could be achieved with a success. "I'm afraid my objective must remain secret, but I can swear on God that it is nothing that you will be concerned about."

Rider

A combination of annoyance and pity came over Rider as she listened to Mobb babble an apology. Apparently, he considered her a "friend", which was not a sentiment Rider reciprocated, instead mostly finding him to be weird and annoying. At the same time, though, she truly did feel sorry for him and, in her current good mood, she couldn't bring herself to reject him so cruelly. So, forcing a smile one more, she addressed him.

"It's OK", she said, soothingly. "You're just nervous."

Truthfully, Rider just wanted to get back to her books and, then, back home to her master. But, she was in too good a mood to be cruel to this sweet if rather weird man, so she would mollify him, at least for now.

Petra

Petra did have an alcohol problem. But she never would get to similar state like that filthy burglar who broke into her house. Did that tresspasser thought she could just break and enter because she met her once. Oh no, she wouldn't have it. The atmosphere got somewhat tense as Petra experienced what could be called a tranquil fury.

"Would you rather fly out of the window or get yourself booted out through the door?"
