Roderick
Maybe I shouldn't have brought up the topic of Resurrection . . . Roderick thought with a sigh. Now they are going to think I'm uninteresting again and I am just going to be a tag along. Not even for physical use either. I believe they may be the sort who fancies their own gender . . . Which if that is what they enjoy I am not going to judge.
I might pout a little bit because I would not be included . . .
He cleared his throat and eyed Olgamally Animusphere before straightening to his full height. He answered, "I apologize, I am neither a cleric, wizard, nor bard. I am a sorcerer. My magical abilities are more along the lines of harnessing the elements."
He held out his hand and created a dancing flame there. It was a minor trick, and he absently shaped it into a dragon that was also breathing fire and now a radiant blue.
"You could say I favor fire. If we were in my world I could introduce you to my half-brother, who has brought back beings from the dead or an acquaintance of my twin who seems to bring back people on a regular basis because her party 'accidentally' kills people quite often. I could show you the basic spell though, but it is expensive, needing precious gems to help fuel it."
He then willed the dragon out of existence, a tiny plume of smoke the only indicator that it had been there at all.
Then he cleared his throat and said, "Not to mention my sister might gut me with her magical sword if she found out I was bringing beings back from the dead."
Gabriel
Gabriel eyed Annabeth and his eyes sparkled as he resisted the urge to taunt the bounty hunter even more. He wondered if the werewolf noticed that Gabriel didn't smell like fear at the moment. Annabeth had an inkling of what he could do in the shadows, but he could disappear before the bullet was out of the chamber.
Instead he eyed the werewolf and extended his hand. "Introductions are in order, I'm Gabriel and I am an information broker by trade," he said meeting the werewolf's eyes and sizing him up.
The lycantrhope wasn't overly tall in his humanoid form, but he was handsome in that scruffy, rugged way that seemed almost effortless and something Gabriel could never pull off.
"And I am always looking for a good source of information. Annabeth requested my services back in town because apparently a job had gone awry because she ran in half-cocked. So in exchange for information from me, I would request a boon of sorts to Annabeth, that she is able to reject until we come upon an agreement. As to you, Sir Lycanthrope, well . . . I would be willing to pay handsomely for some of the information you undoubtedly hear."
Rin
Rin heard Joe behind her and she took a deep breath.
"I'm not upset with you, exactly," Rin said slowly and she would have rubbed the back of her neck if her hand wasn't covered in suds from washing dishes.
She didn't look; she knew Jeanne would be in the near vicinity. "It's not something I feel comfortable talking about right now," Rin said, casting a meaningful look over her shoulder at Joe.
Forest
It was hard to form words as fingers started to rub her into another frenzy.
She managed to gasp out, "I have lots of people hurt me, but none that really w-want to make me feel good."
Which was the truth. Her hips bucked to her hands and her fangs were lengthening now, her indigo eyes turning red. She looked away, not wanting Marcus to see her indigo eyes turn to glowing red.
