Lorenzo

The three roamed the skies over a burning ship, sailing among the stars like a fiery moon. Soon, they found themselves before the culprit, or rather, above.

The pirate was satisfied just glaring down at the blonde man with the biggest grin he could muster, his canines almost looked like fangs as his fire rumbled. "So this is Ryuuji?" He asked Hazel eagerly. For a moment, one could swear his eyes were meeting that man's.

Blackmore

When he looked down on the mage, his smile almost seemed to grow even larger. "Heh, I was just taking a stroll. Well, that's a lie. I guess you could say I'm on a job right now. How about you?"

There was an awkward pause, somehow it didn't seem like he was saying everything. No, there was something that was bothering him even now.

"What are you doing surrounded by trash?" He asked sheepishly before crouching. Somehow, he still towered over that man.

Engetsu

The demon sword turned back and stopped midway when he was just about to step out. "Ah."

He coughed nervously and turned around before bowing. "It was a pleasure to meet you Waka. Ah, but please take this." He went to the counter and searched for a while before handing him a coupon. "It's a discount, you get half price for a bedroom and meal for the next three visits." He said with a smile. "Will you be alright?"

Rider

"So, as you can see, unfortunately, there's no way you can replicate that", Rider finished, a sympathetic look on her face.

"I'm sorry", she added, smiling sympathetically. "I can tell that you would like to leave, but I'm afraid we're stuck here. No-one else could do what they did."

"Anyway", she continued, still smiling sympathetically, "could you tell me a bit more about yourself? I'd like to get to know you better."

Roderick

Roderick rubbed his sore jaw and eyed the petite blonde.

"So, you're worrying about them causing trouble against others, which would cause us trouble in the long run.  I could teleport us to them, if you would like to see if anything is amiss."

Anastasia

"I don't think achieving's one dream hinges on a convenient solution like that. Or should hinge on it. I just can't help but think that there could be a catch to that." Anastasia spoke without waiting for Paladin. "Do you really want to seek it?"

The pope shook his head.  "I agree," he said with solemn voice.  "But I think that is why it must be obtained.  The very nature of this draws corrupted souls to the world.  Even so, outside my duty to capture this device, I must admit I do have a wish of my own, provided the rumors are true."

Paladin

If one could see his face they would know that Paladin's frown had only deepened. "What man of faith," he started almost quietly, "would foist the desires of his heart onto twisted idols when he has his gods? I cannot see the logic."

Ryu

The henchman looked up at the sky, squinting in order to make out the small figure standing at the front of the ship.  It looked like a skeleton...  Looking back at Ryu, his eyes widened as he realized their eyes were locked.  Did he know?

The blond cosplayer stood firm, his arms crossed and his face stern.  Even at this distance, his eyes seemed to be locked on the figure as if he was engaged in some mental battle.  It was rare to see him with such fire in his eyes.  Even so, there was a problem

The ship was not slowing down.

Hazel

Hazel's eyes followed Lorenzo as the ship barreled down towards a group.  "Yeah, the blond one in the middle," she said, removing her cigarette from her mouth to allow some smoke to escape her lips.  "So, how are you going to land this thing?"

Now standing beside the two, Mason began to sweat.  There was a strange amount of tension in the air.

The pirate laughed, as if he just heard the most ridiculous of jokes. "Land? Oh, there's no need for that. I'll just dispel the ship."

And before they could even retaliate, the ship turned into flames and vanished,  leaving the three to pummel down the earth below in an infernal fall. The pirate took the opportunity to  twist and turn his body midair, grinning from ear to ear as he shot down leaving his helpless comrades to fall to their doom.

Ah, but perhaps not. Fiery birds were coming down, certainly in order to catch them and save them from meeting a violent death against the floor. Surely that was the pirate's plan all along!

Nope.

They just crashed on the ground and exploded behind him with a bright boom that declared his presence. while he landed on his own flames to cushion him. Crouching, his hand on the ground and his toothy grin even more violent than before, he rose while the explosion and fiery blast had his coat flutter in the air.

And all the while, he just kept staring at the blonde man, it was truly like a villain's main entrance, as fiery and hellish as it was.

Meanwhile Hazel and Mason kept falling.

Julius

"I don't think I'm happy about non-governmental institutions granting citizenship for money. This should have been a purview of a government. A king and his officials' or a city council's, depending on the status of a city. Seems like God hurled me where they need people like me more than in more organized country. This is enough mess, yet we still have lunatics who think it's not enough." Julius confirmed that he remembered well their encounter with that accursed fanatic as he complained about the situation in the city.

Mitsu

With a natural poker face of hers, he looked through her cards without revealing anything through her expression. She really didn't seem to show much off enthusiasm so far. "Ok, you go first."

Mordred

Ahhh, now she finally noticed. That was dumb, to put it bluntly. "No, she doesn't. Or rather I don't feel like hauling you all the way to a hospital to put you together. Healers are expensive here."

It was strange.  A part of his heart fluttered at those words.  They reminded him of something Micheal said long ago, even if the connotation lacked the respect the arch angel would normally give him.

The pope faced Paladin, his eyes cold but passionate as he said, "That is because you are bound by logic.  Faith requires that you toss aside such things or at the very least, acknowledge the limitations of such a skill."

Ryu

As the ship came closer, the henchman yelled, "RYU, move!"

"Dog, what are you doing?  We gunna die if we move.  Im out yo!" One of the other henchman exclaimed before attempting to run to safety.  The group scattered, leaving only Ryu and a single remaining henchman to face the threat.

Just as they left, the ship vanished.  Ryuji's bandanna and gee fluttered as a sudden gust of wind blew throughthe area. His stance somehow become even more firm than before.  His gaze intensified, shooting a challenge to the pirate.  It was a challenge of men, a burning desire to prove himself to this beast.

Hazel

Hazel turned the lower half of her body to smoke as they fell.  The ship's explosion caused her hair to flutter.  Thinking quickly, her lower body turned into smoke, allowing her to fly over to Mason and catch him.  She placed him on the ground, returning her lower half to normal.  The two watched, wondering what would happen next.

The pirate chuckled and slowly walked forward, soon standing barely a foot away from the blonde man, face to face and heart to heart. "Bosslady was looking for you." He said with a practically demonic fanged grin as the fire in his head and entire body trailed off behind him.

Paladin

The knight's voice was still cold. "Faith is neither bound nor limited by reason. It is faith that provides the ultimate key to understanding. And faith cannot be without reason for even the gods have it." He shook his head.

"But that is beside the point. You chose a relic to bear your wish rather than your god. Why?"
