The ghostly lips of the priest curled into a smile as he said, "I see. Then you and I both share that stigma."
Anastasia was walking for a while, covering several districts without showing any signs of weariness or discouragement. He couldn't help but take to heart her words earlier, the ones about being a soldier. Clearly she was trained well in both mind and body. He wondered how well she would stack up to Roman soldiers.
After a long silence, she finally spoke up. "I don't know who this is, but if you're fast enough to intercept them, there's our chance."
"Very well," he said, taking human form once more. With a mighty leap, he jumped onto a building, cracking the ground where he once stood. He bounced from building to building, working his way up to the tallest buildings in the city. From here he was able to see what the fast moving creature looked like. It didn't take him long to spot it, a purple blur rushing across the streets, bouncing on street lights and smaller buildings.
Even if she was going extremly fast, it would be a simple matter to cut her off. His own form shot forward, becoming blurry as it moved to cut off the purple blur. As he drew closer, he noticed it was a woman holding a large bag.
That bag looks important. Perhaps it is worth taking.
