Aurelia

"No, not at this moment. I'm also rather sure that I will be unable to purchase a room at a hotel today too. They seem to use a paper currency and my home mostly made transactions with mana..." She trailed off a bit. It was so strange that a city could function without a working mana system.

Pavarti

"Mana? I've only been one place where that served as a sort of currency... You lived in an interesting place huh?" Pavarti smiled at her. She had some fond memories of her time in Chaldea.

Orianna

Orianna blinked for a moment, baffled by what the girl had just said. "To serve my master is my life. You talk too much for saying such self affirming things. Are we done now, or do you still have some inane game left in your head, mutt."

Lucy

"Don't be so rude to them, Lizzie! You should only bully people who fight back. If they just walk away and you go after them it just doesn't have any oomph, y'know?" Giving the demon mage a kiss on the cheek.

Elizabeth

"Hahaha, relax, relax. I'm not so uncouth as to chase a fleeing mouse down to show it my superiority. The fact that they're fleeing is enough to show they're fully aware of it." Elizabeth tickled Lucy's belly a little bit.

Olga Marie

Olga blushed a bit and cleared her throat. "Regardless of that though, keep a close eye on the vampire. I don't need to tell you what to do if she acts suspiciously." Olga thought her servant knew this already, but wanted to show her that she was indeed competent. She was glad that they'd just begun setting up and didn't have anything secret running yet. Otherwise she'd have had to protest Grigori's invitation.

Olga Marie of House Animusphere

"We're stronger than the church. Don't let their propaganda get to you, Saber." Olga smiled politely at the baroness. "This is my servant, Saber."

She turned to Grigori. "I think that she was just grabbed by the city's interdimensional pull.

Aurelia

The encouragement made her feel nice. But still, she had been through this song and dance before. It wouldn't be good for her to get her hopes up at everything that came up. "Yes, I've only been around for a few hours. This place is... poorly put together."

Pavarti

"Quite. It seems to be a patchwork thrown together without any real thought put into it whatsoever." Pavarti agreed sadly. "So I take it you don't have a place to stay, master?"

3786
Aurelia

Oh! Telepathy, she had nearly forgotten about it. "There's no need to say that. I know what you're talking about and all of this is practically unusable. You'll get more out of it than I will anytime soon" She wasn't really putting herself down; it was just being realistic.

Pavarti

"Pavarti shook her head and smiled. "No, I think that you'll come into your own someday, Aurelia. You're going to be an amazing mage."

"So, did you just appear here as well? We both seem to be a little bit lost."

3787
Grigori

"I don't care for titles. I am Grigori, this is the Nexus, and you are intruding on my territory. I suppose you are a mage of above average calibur, correct? Sensing out this place wouldn't have been simple otherwise."

Aurelia

She repeated the words confidently, having heard similar recitations before. It was... rather invigorating all things considered. Aurelia was rarely involved in manners like this. When they finished speaking she allowed the circle to drink in her mana. "Is that all?"

Pavarti

Pavarti felt the endless ocean of mana rush into her all at once and yelped. She shuddered as she was instantly filled to the bursting point with mana. This girl-was insane. She was crazier than even a holy grail! Her reserves intimidated the purple-haired girl, left her knees trembling.

"Hah-"You're amazing Aurelia. Yes, the contract is now complete. You seem to have a lot of latant talent."

Valerie von Vincke

Dark or not, Valerie could see just fine with her lovely yellow eyes the almost as equally lovely mortals who had come upon her in this state. Immediately she drew herself up to her proper stature, and took better stock of the aesthetically pleasing girls present. Their clothing was rather outlandish, but also of fine make. So she was definitely not in Vas any longer.

The vampire's eyes flicked about for a moment and took in the decidedly elven architectural styles nearby to go with it. "Hmm. I suppose if you use the definition of 'lost' that means 'I do not know this place,' then yes." Valerie brushed off one of her shoulders with a contemptuous flick of her fingers. "I am Valerie von Vincke, Baroness of the Castle Vas. I would have you do me the service of telling me where I am."

Olga Marie

Baron huh? This woman sure was talking big for being just a baron. "I am Duchess Olga Marie of House Animusphere, head of one of the twelve great families that rule the magic world. It is a pleasure to meet you, Valerie von Vincke."

3789
Aurelia

Her body refined itself with magic, and with an impossibly quick movement drew the circle. It was rather basic, only having a few diagrams and patterns. It wasn't as intricate as she would have liked but it was good enough. Then she bit down on her thumb, making a small cut so she could rub her blood into the central points. "Alright, what else?"

Grigori

She stepped forwards, mostly impassive as she observed the newcomer. "You appear to be a bit lost. Although, somehow I doubt that's actually the case. I am Grigori, and this is my apprentice Olga. You are...?"

Pavarti

Pavarti started chanting randomly, yet rhythmically, in her native language, filling the magic circle with her own mana as well. She the stepped inside of it. "All right, repeat after me: fill fill fill fill..." Pavarti began to chant the typical chant used to summon a servant, waiting for Aurelia to finish each stanza before moving on.

3790
Olga Marie of House Animusphere

"I think they'll be over here..." Olga told Grigori as she led her towards the supposed destination.

Olga had been constructing bounded fields with her teacher, Grigori, and her newly constructed wide-range detection field had picked up somebody appearing out of nowhere in the vicinity of their base, well within the bounds of the field. It seemed to be a reasonably powerful mage as well, so they'd decided to go investigate.

Eventually, they found an extremely pale, short girl standing in the street, looking sort of perplexed. Olga stopped, letting Grigori make the first move.

3791
Elizabeth

"Ahahaha, well Lu Lu, I just can't help myself you know. It's hilarious when they just run away like cowards from embarrasment, don't you think!" Elizabeth watched the girl leave, wondering if she'd rise to the provocation or if she really was a coward.

3792
Pavarti

Whew, that was close. She seems like a good sort of girl. The purple haired girl smiled. "Thanks. You said you're a scholar, so you know how to draw a circle, I assume." Pavarti walked over behind the girl and looked over her sholder and make sure she didn't make a mistake. "After you draw one, just put a little bit of blood into it."

3793
Aurelia

"Ah, I wasn't joking. If the ritual requires anything beyond simply placing a lump of mana into it I'll be incapable of doing so. Like I said, scholar not mage." She wrung her hands a bit at that. It was fine saying it once or twice but not much more than that.

Pavarti

"Come on, it can't hurt to try right! I'm pretty desperate right now!" Pavarti said in a hurry. She hadn't been expecting that responce!

3794
Aurelia

"Oh! You're some sort of familiar then? Or another kind of bound entity? Well, it doesn't matter. It would be terrible to just let you dissapear. Are there any specifics needed for this contract or is it a simple verbal agreement?" She sounded rather excited at the thought of it being more complex than that.

Pavarti

Pavarti was about to say it was a simple one, but she held her tongue. The girl just looked so earnest, so excited... She couldn't let her down, no! Not if she was her future master!

Pavarti nodded. "It's a fairly complicated procedure, with a few steps. It's not the most difficult task but only an good mage would be able to pull it off. First, we need mana, which you clearly have plenty of. Then we'll need to find ourselves a magic circle, let some blood, and do a magic chant."

3795
Pavarti

"Huh? Mana control?" Pavarti was surprised! She was so sure this girl was a mage!

"Well, ah, I'm sure you're a great scholar. I was um wondering if we could form a contract. I'll disappear soon if I don't get one."

Pavarti bowed. "Please!"
