Location: Forest's Compound
To his utter surprise, the demi-god surpassed his expectations by more than a mile as he saw the process himself. While Henry wasn't exactly a professional cook himself, he could tell Karna alone somehow had the skill of several masters of the kitchen with his flame powers. It was something that allowed a bit of jealousy to rise.
"Khichdi", indicating the yellowed rice covered in lentils, "Paratha", then pointing at the stack of round disks of cooked dough, "and finally, Samosa", indicating the fried triangles, filled with minced potatoes, bell peppers and lentils.
"Please, help yourself, Henry."
"That I will," he replied as he took up a spoon to taste the Khichdi. A dish he had tried a couple of times back in its native country.
"Mmn~. This is great."
The spices were dead on right with a nice popping of the legumes under his teeth. He then sampled the soft parathas which he nodded in approval. Samosa were the last to be tasted as his teeth made a crunching sound upon biting it. The filling was very nice and didn't seem to be rather artificial much like the American ones. Yet it did surpass the actual ones in India.
"I'm impressed, these are good," Henry remarked between bites.
