"Well, it's nice to know that vampires are still political here as they are at home."

Forest sighed and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.  "And let me guess, you're not really friendly with any of them?"

Taro began walking away from the tree, back towards civilization.  "Oh I like them.  Its just a matter of them liking me.  The mask I project is one that almost all believe, except Valarie herself."

The blonde sighed as she followed Taro.

"You're going to want me to fight at least one of them, aren't you?"

Roman

Roman restrained himself as best as he could.  That inviting pose and soft stare was enticing.  He had just finished with Valarie yet he felt his pants tightening.  "Well let me show you," he said taking off his pants and underwear.  In between his legs stood a large hard dick waiting to be tended to.  Grabbing the couch, his fingers sunk into the arm and with a quick yank, pulled it in front of him so that when he sat down, it was like an audience to a show.  Sitting his now naked butt down, he grabbed hold of his dick and stared at Emilia like a man would a screen.

She blinked, not once but twice before there was any other reaction, then her foot met his face to launch him across the room.

"When did I say you get naked and fap? You moron!"

She huffed and folded her arms across her while giving him a disappointed glare. "I'd hoped you had at least some base impulse control. We nobles are no savages, never strip like in front of a lady ever again unless she tells you to... Or I'll chop your balls off and feed them you, are we clear?"

A crunch marked the strike hitting his jaw and Roman being sent across the room, slamming back first into the wall and falling onto the ground with a thud.  Although, the more painful than the attack was his embarrassment.  Hands clawing at nothing, Roman's strawberry face rose from the ground.

"I uhh... thought.... sorry.  Umm... yes ma'am we are clear."

He was still hard.  Being ordered around was nice in its own way, even if this was the most shameful thing.

"Is there even a point in answering that one?" Taro said with smile.  "Although, you mentioned you were done with fighting right?  If you settle down before you get the chance, I will give up on this perverted dream."

The answer was yes.

Forest

"I mean, I'd seriously doubt that I'd be completely done with fighting," Forest fell into step with Taro with a shrug.

"If someone meant to harm my family or myself, I'm going to fight with everything I have, but . . . "  She looked up at the sky with a slight smile.

"Maybe I should have said that I won't go looking for fights anymore."

"The pen is mightier than the sword and the lounge far stronger than one's hands.  I'm sure you know that well by now," he said.  "Fights only come to those who seek it.  At least, that's what I believe.
 Although, and i'm sure this won't help you, but I think that little girl would have appreciated someone who kept fighting."

Taro followed her gaze into the sky.

"Its a never ending battle, but one you can only free yourself from by looking away from it.  A crusade to protect is still a crusade."

Forest

"So with that logic, I'll probably always keep fighting then."

She reached her hand out and "grasped" the moon before lowering it.  "Well, it's what I'm good at."

Taro stood behind Forest, his hips pressed against her back.  His larger hand traced up her arm, enjoying the feeling of natural power within those muscles and the genuine feminine spirit that crafted them.  The back of the hand grasping at the moon was covered by Taro's palm and pushed onto her chest.

"Your good at loving, maybe not as much yourself as others."

Forest felt Taro press against her, his hand tracing up her arm and feeling the muscles there. 

She blinked as he took her hand and guided it to her chest.  Her eyes widened at his words and bit her lip.  "I am?"

Taro laughed and said, "You went to a crazy man's office to comfort him in his time of need and insisted that crazy man help a small child long ago.  There isn't many other words to describe an action like that then love.  I think... you loved me, even for a moment when we slept together.  Is that wrong?"

Forest

"No, it's not wrong."  Forest found herself leaning against the duke. 

"Maybe I'm a bit around the bin too,  you know?"  She closed her eyes and sighed.  "I've been told I care too much too many times."

Taro frowned, feeling her head against his muscular chest.  "What a stupid thing to say, care too much.  What I worry about is you not caring enough about yourself.  A heroism like yours was born from your own hope, but what good are you if that is burned out?"
