Seras

The vampire cocked an eyebrow, crimson eyes glinting at the question presented. Tipping back the Bloody Mary, Seras took a light sip of it, testing to see how she reacted. To her minor surprise, while there was the urge to throw it up, it was nowhere near as violent as it had been back then. It wasn't like the alcohol was doing anything, either. It was just...sitting there.

"I guess it's my turn to ask where that came from," the vampire shot back, "But I can't say it would be worth the effort. So, what if I am? I'd rather not have to deal with something when I just want to have a drink."

Gadreel

Over his many years the angel had seen and participated in many meaningless and unsatisfying scuffles. This was one of the worst in that regard. In years prior they had at the very least served some form of purpose, had some reasoning behind them that would at least make the pitiful levels of expertise on display worth seeing. This? This meant nothing.

So he gave the human in his grasp a gentle rap on the head and proceeded to toss him into a pile with the rest of his cohort. From there he could better assess their unnecessary but considerate assistant.

He certainly has a sharp taste in fashion, the exile conceded in his head, nodding to the man in greeting. This man had the bearing of someone with a supreme level of confidence in himself, but so far without the reliance on strength in numbers or the unfortunate sense of entitlement. Gadreel's lips quirked up in a smile of approval.

"Speech is often one of the first niceties to degrade in the face of adversity," he conceded to the man. Then he glanced to Forest "Considering the circumstances of this particular interruption I would actually say it speaks well of my date that she was as restrained in that regard as she was."

You could have done much worse. Or said much worse.

Julius

"So you are this gentleman's fiancée, my lady? I wish you best, then." He shook the lady's hand. As she promised to straighten her language, he decided to not bring up that anymore. "I'm Count Julius Richter. From Siebenburgen of Austrian Empire. Unfortunately even most vigilant town guard cannot be everywhere, so it should be natural to intervene if one have means to do so."

The lady's fiance said how polite manners often degraded first in a heat of such situations. "I pride myself on being as respectful as I can be. I should not only meet expectations that come with my social status but also go above them. If you don't mind a request from me, I need some help. It is unusual market place and I got tasked with helping my host refill ingredients of her cellar."

Liseth

The look of the bartender and Rin's question stroked the girl's ego ever so slightly. She could kind of get how good it feels to be waving around so much money now. She was usually so careful in spending it, but it's not like there were any records of her or anything here. They couldn't tell where she got any of her money from either way. Being a little showy couldn't end up too badly.

"Well, not really no. It's hard to hide all of this normally, but it's not like anyone can track the flow of money here. It's not like it's hard to get something like this anyways. I can show you some more if you want." Liseth was becoming uncomfortably of the beating of her own heart as she kept talking. She loved having the attention on her but it always felt like a performance to her, and she hated making a fool of herself.

Mitsuba

Mitsuba dressed into her pink clothes and decided to go for a walk. Not only to try to forget about what transpired and maybe relax a bit, but to be away from the district for a while. If nothing happened this night, then everything got averted. She didn't look stained by blood anymore and it didn't seem like the blood cough fit would return. She took her heavy umbrella as the forecast said it could snow mixed with rain could happen today. Of course it was drilled inside to hide her sword, of course she wouldn't go unarmed if she could help it. She wore her blue overcoat over her pink clothes as it was still quite cold there outside. Prepared, she ventured outside, taking a night off.

Theodore

Theodore smiled with the same blank eyes he always bore. It was ideal that she was so agreeable, it made convincing her less of a hassle. After all, it was only natural that trash would get rid of the trash.

For a second, the demon looked like he was about to fall over, but he quickly collected himself and grabbed his head, using a nearby wall as support.

"Then you will kill me when the time is due. That is your one and only order that I entrust to your heart. I must die by your hand no matter what, but only when the time is right. Is that clear?"

Count Greyskull

The dark lord began to look around with curious eyesockets and approached one of the mortals standing behind a counter.

"Erm, excuse me but co- I mean, PUNY MORTAL, PLEASE EXPLAIN ME WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS PLACE!"

The lady nodded politely and responded calmly, not seeming to be bothered by the skeleton's loudness. She was used to worse, at least he hadn't come to hack and slash at the place.

"Of course sir. This is a movie theater, where movies are shown for public entertainement. You can buy snacks and drinks and see movies shown at precised times if you acquire a ticket."

"AH, I SEE! I UNDERSTAND, HUMAN, THIS IS QUITE INTRESTING AND INSIGHTFUL!!"

However, there was something he didn't understand. Something vital, for there was no way he could remain ignorant of this. To know of the customs and ways of life of his subject is a lord's duty!

"Erm, what's a movie?"

And so she explained it, I don't have time or energy to come up with an explanation so just imagine that she gave an in depth explanation of what is a movie. I can be lazy, moving on.

"Wow, that is amazing! We should watch one!"

Mordred

"Damn it, are you now trying to kill me even more?!" Mordred exclaimed, as she kept barely getting out of the way of those projectiles. "And what about the fuckin' gym?!" At this rate the place would need solid renovation. About to be cornered, she thought she had no other choice than to unleash her another technique. If she blinded her even for a second, she would buy a time to catch some breath and be better prepared. Corbin would get blinded too, but her skin mattered more right now. A blinding light filled the room, hopefully working against that midget asshole.

Petra

She leaned back on the bench, her hands supporting her head and her legs crossed. She gazed into clouded sky over them. "When I was born there was plenty of demons, but even in such bustling and dangerous city I've only run into one demonic like being. Which maybe even wasn't a proper demon. This city is bizarre. But I've run into a vampire girl in a duster, a talking loud skeleton, multi colored girl and a vampire wannabe with fake fangs and contacts. And I feel it's just a tip of iceberg."

"Huh, more than enough? We will have spare? Ya can buy some clothes for your Sempai, right, Ron-kun?" She asked him just like that, not feeling to run around in dougi all the time as she went to great lenghts to steal it. She'd rather ruin it in an important battle if she could help it. "C'mon, that  will be for me helping you get stronger. Do ya know that you can use chi straight just like me? With my help you will get even better!" With friend like her, he could maybe become as good as her. Not counting her Kirin form, of course.

Michael

As the strange black goo grew larger and larger, slowly turning egg-shaped, the immortal finally stood up, swallowing the last piece of meat and allowing a contented sigh as a massive dragon burst forth, moving rather quickly for a being of its size. Its berserk charge tore up the beast they were sitting on, massive maw wide open to swallow him whole.

Huh. The only thing we're missing here is some shining paladin of the Trinity. Ah well, I suppose I'll have to suffice.

With that in mind, the immortal feinted a move to one side with skill that would leave a supposed master of the martial arts looking the other way, moving instead around the other side, staff in hand, and sliding in under the dragon. Positioning himself, Michael thrust the staff upwards into the dragon's scales, finding the spot he needed to hit in an instant. Against a beast of this size, all of his brute strength would be useless. But moving opponents that far outweigh you, turning knocking them off balance and using the least amount of effort necessary to move them however you so pleased, this was a rather basic thing, so Michael simply needed to scale that feat up a little. Thus, the immortal extended the staff outwards, using the beast's own momentum against it and flipping the monster over with practiced grace.

Dante

The demon hunter cocked an eyebrow at Petra, his curiosity piqued, if nothing else.

"Huh. Things were pretty much the same for me back home," Dante admitted, leaned back and resting his arms on the back of the bench, "I've never actually seen something that wasn't a human, a demon, or some combination of the two until recently. Just this one chick with a thing for purple-heads, and this one purple-headed girl with weird pets. Ah well, at least it won't be boring, if that's the case."

Ron

He took another moment to recount the money, then nodded. "Yeah, we should have enough for that," Ron said to her with a grin, even as he suppressed his dread at the idea of shopping. He shouldn't have mentioned the extra money! "We can, ah, talk tricks at the buffet after I show you how those work. Now come on, let's get out of this alley before it starts to stink more."

The werewolf turned and made a leap for the rooftops again, so he could get a better view of where the buffet was. Damned if he could remember off the top of his head with how many new neighborhoods this city spawned in a given week...

Oren

A roar that was almost confused emerged from Oren's jaws as she was flipped into the air. She supposed that she underestimated the stick man as she hurtled towards the earth. But instead of crashing down upon the ground the soil seemed to ripple and swallow her up as she impacted the dirt.

Beneath the ground, Oren shut her eyes. The earth sang to her with a voice of shifting plates and grinding stone. It told of her of every squirming thing in and below the earth, and it told her of the ancients with their deep, deep roots entangled in the rich soil, and it told her of where a hulking dead beast of ash was.

The earth dragon swam through the earth, stone and dirt shifting like water in her wake and solidifying in her passing. Then she moved forward at full speed and burst from the earth to the side of the stick man without the slightest warning. She rocketed out of the ground and her jaws opened wide once more to try and crush Michael.

Erica

So he wished for death? Erica was almost disappointed. Almost, but not quite. Nothing could possibly come of death. To wish for it simply made one wasteful. "Perhaps I will do it. My powers are yours, but only so long as you provide me souls. Those were the terms of our arrangement. You cannot provide me souls if I slay you, and thus you would fail in upholding your end of the bargain. I would have no incentive to pursue my own share if you were incapable of doing your own."

Alarice

Alarice had deposited the dog on the ground and it simply sat down by her feet. As she listened to the information provided to her lord the noble found herself vaguely intrigued. The concept of these movies sounded interesting, at least in the sense that they were a diluted but more widely available and convenient version of plays. Still, it wasn't worth wasting their time. There were more important things they had to do.

"Lord, perhaps it would be best to abstain from these movies for now. We have yet to establish your reputation among the locals. We should at least find some crime to punish first in order to establish your credibility. Or perhaps we could exterminate a local gang or a criminal of some sort." The Chosen's tail swished back and forth through the air with a slight degree of agitation as Alarice waited for an answer. There was always a time for entertainment, but when making a message time was always of the essence.

Rin

"You mind if I pick one of these up and look at it?" Rin asked, gesturing to one of the gemstones.

Forest

Now Julius had downgraded them from husband and wife to betrothed, which wasn't that much of a downgrade.  She listened to Julius's introduction and his high moral code before he confessed he needed help shopping.  She shook his hand with a smile and said, "Well I'm Forest, and you wouldn't be the first person to find themselves lost in a mall.  We were just lost a few minutes ago ourselves."

Then she felt Gadreel's praise and smiled even more.

They may have pissed me off, but they aren't exactly evil so . . .

Shiro looked at Numina with a teary-eyed expression and grabbed onto the woman and buried her face in her chest. "I-I don't know, we were just in a big mall, then they disappeared, and now everything's scary!"
