Auspicious Breeze

"Oh, that's right!" Breeze said, still smiling from having her hair mussed up by one of her cute girls. "Well, hmm, I'll go with whatever you think looks best on me. I'm kinda new at picking out my own clothes."

Oren had a point too, though. "Maybe something that's a bit of both?"

---------------------

Gadreel

"Ah. That could indeed make things complicated," the angel conceded with a slow nod of understanding. He was not, at all, ashamed of the notion of course. Then a thought occurred to him. "It is likely that the ruffians we left in the clothing store could still be present. Perhaps we should return, check on their mental health, and if necessary you could always avail yourself of them."

He glanced to the side. "Or we could disregard that, and simply acquire me a replacement pair of pantaloons."

----------------------

Liam

"Ain't no man who'd leave a young lady like you to walk home herself 'lest she insisted on it," Liam said, and he really did mean it. "A fella who would, well he ain't no man. You ever need a thing, give me a call and I'll see what I can do."

Just 'cause he was a monster didn't mean he had to be rude, after all. Respect kept the devil coiled 'round the vampire's heart all calm-like. As long as everyone knew how to be polite, and he kept getting his fix of the red stuff, he never had to worry. But, well, not everybody knew how to be polite.

That's when the devil looked up.

----------------------

Ron

The werewolf didn't even flinch from Rikuyo's rampant act of destruction, but quickly marked the spot with his scent by rubbing against it at high speed. That way he could follow the trail of his own blood back to it, in case they got lost. All the jagged broken tree parts were good for that, and the wounds from scraping against them went away fast enough that he didn't have to slow down at all.

It was getting harder to think like a human as they went deeper, though.

Petra

"Huh, that's really thoughtful of you, but how I can be sure you don't have some ulterior motives? Like trying to get into my good graces to hook up with me?" For a moment Petra flashed mischevious smile, not resisting her urge to just tease this gentleman a bit. But she quickly changed her tone. "Just kidding, I'm sure you did it out of your goodness of your heart. The night's quite young and I feel much better though. If you have free time left, I'd appreciate if you showed me the city around a bit."

???

In such a short lapse of time, a single place could not have looked any different. The once shining halls of the Einzbern castle were now ruined and desolate, as if the hell of war itself had been poured down on this residence, leaving nothing but a desolate chasm of rubble, dust and destruction in its wake. Amidst the crumbled remains of a once glorious hall, a single man sat on his pitiful throne, cloaked in the dust and darkness that littered this lair under the warm strokes of the sun.

Well, if one looked carefully the lone figure would've seemed anything but human. It was strange, but even coveted in wounds and in such a pitiful state the creature would never pass as ordinary. Abnormal, unseemingly and grotesque. This whole occurrence had been nothing more than pointless drivel, the result had not changed. And why would it? Had the protector not cast away his name, his purpose, as he shattered his one true weapon?

It had been a pointless struggle that had only earned him grievous wounds, eroding his very existence. But had his rebellion truly required such thing?

Yes, it was only natural. All things in this world have a purpose, a function, a reason to be. That was the deplorable paradigm that defined all things, even his fate. And yet, he still perused this same conflict. Had he not learned a thing? Or perhaps he had willingly blinded himself to the truth.

Once again, he had failed completely and utterly. The same cycle was repeating and had depeated once more, as it had for an immeasurable number of times. Over and over he fought, only to reach that same conclusion. Nothing would change. Nothing ever changed.

It was meaningless.

But he never needed such things in the first place. He had forsaken reason long ago, there was no point in bemoaning it. He had no reason to fight, yet he had, and would fight. If a hundred battles yielded no victory, he would fight a thousand. If not a thousand, he would fight ten thousand. Until he attained perfection.

That was what he had promised, wasn't it? No matter how meaningless this struggle was, it was the only meaning he had left. Next time, he would not lose. The demon rose.

And without uttering a single word, it spoke.

"You have work to do."

The blueprints would be sent to him soon enough.

Liam

She was painfully close to the truth on this one, actually. Although Liam's idea of 'hooking up' was a touch different than what regular folk would think of. Generally felt pretty nice, for a killing, but it was what God made it be.

"Not a chance, Miss Petra," the vampire insisted, before grinning a little. "A lady like you, a man's gotta romance first."

Not tonight, though. He'd probably not kill her tonight.

"Now not to be improper or some such, but maybe you ought to check your apartment first 'fore we consider going any place else. For all you know, you might wanna sleep the rest off the moment ya see a couch."

Oren

The Fae shrugged and nodded. "You guys can pick for me too! I haven't bought clothes in a while. People don't usually let me in their settlements because of the antlers. All of my clothes I scavenged or borrowed for a really long time."

Oren was moving around the two blondes with an almost otherworldly grace. She was impatient but she wasn't going to say it. Just flowing around them while waiting to get a move on. Although that didn't stop her from teasingly touching and poking at Breeze. She didn't do it to Mordred because that could make her uncomfortable, and Oren would never make such a nice person uncomfortable. Well, not right now anyways.

Rin

Rin sighed and reached out and embraced Sakura, stroking her hair.

I am worried about this vampire fixation of hers though.  There are worse things than Dead Apostles, but maybe I could talk to Rider to get her to talk about that.

"Well, we can work on it together, maybe make a compromise about how to do things," Rin said.

Forest

Forest offered Gadreel a wan smile and said, "Well, I was going to get you more clothing anyway.  At least we'd have a valid prompt to do so."

She shuddered and said, "If I feed on one of those wankers they might think I'm interested in them or something."

Gadreel

"That would be an unfortunate misunderstanding," the exile conceded, restraining his body's visceral reaction to the notion so that it was merely a cringe of the eye. "Clothing it is then. Lead on."

Forest

Forest nodded and said, "Yeah, and one that I've dealt with too many times in the past.  Apparently punching people in the face isn't enough of a hint to get."

She held out her hand to him with a sigh.  "I would have liked to spend time looking, but maybe once the city is safe we can go more for fashion than function."

Oka Kurosawa

Oka had a gigantic grin on her face as she continued to trek along the path. "Huh?" She asked him in a sort of singsong fashion. "What's wrong, dearest? Are my shoulders not comfortable?" She could feel him trying to squirm free on top of her. Damn, he was making it really hard to keep up the tease. After futily trying to keep it up for a few minutes, Oka eventually squatted down and let him jump off her. She immediately latched onto him arm, and proclaimed with a cheery and innocent face, "That was revenge!"

Mitsuba

"I really should have made you work off that but the bar is such a mess that it will take time to restore it to working condition. So let's forget about that." Mitsuba sighed. All that damage and no way for her to repair it overnight. She probably had to find a way how to make money as soon as possible. Her Cover had to eat after all. She would take the sword to a pawn shop if she wasn't concerned about any possible retaliation from the afterlife. Walking up to the sword, she grasped its handle to grab it.

Misaka Mikoto

"I'm sorry." She said again. "I'm really really sorry. I'll make sure I repay my debt to you, I promise!" Misaka said to her. She really didn't know what to do in this situation, and felt really uncomfortable. She'd been so inconsiderate of her aqquaintance, and had destroyed her livelyhood. She felt terrible. Like she was going to throw up again. She felt a rumbling in her stomach from unease. "Hey, um, where's the bathroom?" She asked quietly.

Mitsuba

The girl seemed genuinely remorseful for what she did, but a deal was a deal. Mitsuba needed to pretend to be on her side long enough to formulate sure way plan to assassinate her. The Unchained would be already dead if she didn't take any measure to survive or advance over corpses of others. That was the world she lived in, the world where God Machine constantly loomed in the horizon. Maybe even in this world. Most importantly though, she couldn't afford a powerful spirit turning against her either.

"The bathroom is upstairs. I will go prepare his body for a funeral. You really shouldn't watch if feel so bad about it. Don't push yourself too hard." The demon pretended to console Misaka while hopefully successfully distracting her enough so that Muramasa could recover the body and the sword. That was more urgent part of their deal after all.

Mordred

"You are a shapeshifter Oren, don't you have means to change your shape freely? Or that's limited for you?" It would be so much more convenient if she could do that. The changeling confirmed her lack of weakness to iron, but she was clearly not a human. Maybe some forest spirit? To be honest, still a reason to tread carefully around. Spirits were not inherent threat to Changelings, but still fickle and moody creatures, at least some of them.

Petra

So he was one of those old fashioned types who took it slow? She was fine with such approach, to be honest. She wouldn't either want to get into a relationship within a single night.

"Oh, yes, the apartment. Yeah, I haven't memorized my number yet, so that's the only way I can give you mine. It's carved into the phone after all." The woman agreed to his proposal. "I can already see the block of flats, just follow me."

Saying that, Petra lead the way into the building, and went upstairs together with Liam. They were there already, but something was off. The light was on, and she checked the doorknob. The doors were open.

"Gah, somebody already broke in! Fucking burglar or something! Could you call the police? I need to apprehend whoever entered into my place."

Shinobu

Shinobu patiently waited for Medaka to get the blood she needed, stroking the girl's blue hair in the meantime. Medaka's body eventually went limp in her arm as she had expected. The blond vampire then gently put the girl's body on the bed. waiting for her to awaken. It shouldn't be long, this girl had after all proven herself to be unusually resilient. She gave a slight chuckle when she realized that he would forever be the least skilled.

Auspicious Breeze

The teasing made Breeze giggle; she didn't mind the public affection at all. It was nice, so why would she? She was just following along with Mordred and Oren now, letting them lead her along. She even tried to hold their hands, though Oren kept squirming away.

"Hey, I remember you became that big lizard thing in the forest!" she said to the cute antlered girl after hearing Mordred's question. "You know, before I punched the tree monster."

Liam

The vampire mobster pulled a flip phone out with one hand, and reached for his gun with the other. He checked the phone first without pulling the gun out, so he could see if they even got a signal in this little spot. No bars, no good; this spot wasn't getting reception. "My phone ain't gonna cut it here," Liam said to the little lady, shaking his head. "I got a gun, I'm gonna head in first. If the kitchen's clear you go make that call, you got it? I got this knucklehead."
