>Ability to manipulate Ether Lumps.

In canon, Ether Lumps are useless, made by novices who fail to materialize the other elements. The only implied thing is that they are connected to the 1st true magic in some way.

Saying he can manipulate something defined as "Nothingness" is a little hard to swallow.

For example, he could probably defeat a normal vampire mook, but he wouldn't stand a chance against someone like Forest.

How can he? Most vampires have above human capability along with other traits. If you want to give him someone he can beat say he can beat just about any normal human as most, he can still be picked up and thrown into a wall and go splat by something powerful enough.

Because he has magical swords, that's why. And, I don't think the average vampire mooks are particularly powerful, a decent magus can kill whole groups of them without too much difficulty.

There is zero reason for him to ever fight a normal human. He needs to be able to at least avoid dying instantly to an average mook, otherwise Rider is massively handicapped in terms of having to watch over him.

This probably depends on the vampire's origin.  Say a vampire from Buffy the Vampire Slayer?  Not too terribly bad.

One of Deacon Frost's flunkies- not too much there either.  However their regeneration and speed are something to behold.

Now a vampire like Ash and Forest, even without their age, is still someone that would eat Kiyoshi for lunch.  He's just an eleven year old boy with no mental defenses.  He'd get hypnotized then bit.

Also character approvals have been updated.

Hey Elf, the character limit is 8 and not 9 like it was in CE 1.0 right?

She might increase the limit, or don't. Up to her.

It is currently at eight yes.

I might up the cap though.

Yeah, that makes sense. Obviously, being fast is a potential issue for him, but he's reasonably agile, and his swords give him an advantage.

Well, yes, true. I mean, he has defences against mind-altering magic to some extent (although not outstanding ones), but I doubt that would work against Ash or Forest's hypnosis.

Other than what's happening with Team Wheelchair, I'd pretty much say the night's close to ending.

Hmm, Rider and Kiyoshi have quite a bit to do yet. Once they actually find somewhere to stay, Rider will want to go out looking for prana whilst Kiyoshi is asleep. I'm not sure how best to make that fit in (since I'd like Rider to head to the compound).

You're more likely better off trying to get there during Day/Night 2. Cause you know, almost everything's wrapped up now.

OK, post up. I'm not convinced it's a particularly great one, but at least I've posted something....

Okay the interference has started, now I just have to wait on the Haruna post to go up. Then the killing can begin.

And with the morning so shall come the MAKO.
