Fate Averruncus

In a large office located in the business section of Nexus City, a man typed absentmindedly at a keyboard while slowly sipping a cup of coffee. An assortment of folders and documents lay scattered in a semi-organized way across the desk, and rows of dossiers filled the various shelves tall against the walls of the room. A large map of Nexus City was stuck on the wall behind the desk, colored lines on it marking the borders of several areas. A few needles with colored spherical tips were stuck on specific places.

Fate Averruncus was working on a report to be sent to one of the technological research labs he had recently associated with, detailing further specifications and corrections to be made to their current advancements on the matter of combat cybernetics and advanced combat armor. With the knowledge of his world, in a more advanced technological state compared to Nexus City, he had helped boost their research forward by a significant amount, but even with the constant help, progress was far too slow for his liking.

If he wanted to have his security teams running with optimized full body armor and upgrade their arms to make them a force capable of enforcing peace on the lower supernatural forces in town, another kind of helping hand was required. Money, manpower, unrestricted access to top of the line materials. In other words, resources he did not currently have and he could not make up for simply with his presence.

And as he was considering that with a long sip of his coffee, his internal line rang, and he heard the now familiar voice of his secretary through the terminal.

"S-sir, call on line 1 for you right now."

He resisted the slight urge to raise an eyebrow. In her short time working for him, he had never heard the woman stutter, nor be anything approaching rude or rushed with him. Yet there was now incredible shakiness in her voice, as though she was facing an overwhelming presence that threatened to crush her. Considering it, there was only one individual who Fate knew could inflict such a reaction on another through even the simplest of words.

Understanding, he decided to not hold it against her, put down his coffee cup and took the call.

"This is Fate Averruncus speaking. Greetings, King Of Heroes Gilgamesh. I appreciate that you found the time to contact me." Fate said over the line, keeping his tone neutral, but acknowledging. Although there was not anything like awe or reference present in his voice, the weight of proper importance was given to the one on the other end of the line. Fate addressed him with nothing less than respectful professionalism.

Oh wow, awkward much, Forest thought as the man she had almost ran over was stating he needed apple seeds and water.  She answered, "Well, there's a Wal-Mart not too far from here.  I'm pretty sure you can get both there.  Because plants need water."

However, as she talked, she sensed something, a bloodlust in the air.  Her keen ears picked up the sound of a blade being unsheathed and someone running towards them.  She spun around to see the attacker grow near and automatically put herself in front of the bumpkin.

She pulled out her gun and got ready to respond.

After they ate their light snack and shopped for groceries, Rattus and Yukina began their walk out of the Hub Mall. "Alright. We have bought supplies that can last for a week and we have eaten at a cafe. So should we head home now, then?" he said to her.

"Um..." She pondered, carrying the two paper bags in her arms. "...I think we should explore more of this city, Rattus-san."

"What kind of exploration would it be, Yukina?"

She then answered, "I think we should just drive around and try to look for stores that would be interesting!"

"Well, since I'm also looking for a mining company, I guess I'll go with your suggestion." Rattus acknowledged as they approached their old car.

When they finally got to driving around the city, they both decided to ride at a speed slower than normal, just like taking as stroll. Rattus was behind the wheel and Yukina as on the lookout for stores she would want to visit, such as a general anime and manga store or a hardware store. But while looking around the streets of this new city, the Japanese woman noticed someone...

Ragna holds his head for a moment, his earlier berserk state having completely drained him.

"Damn it. I guess, I should get some food, get my strength back. Then... I'll figure things out."

With this Ragna walks towards the city, away from the statue, in search of a restaurant.

"Rattus-san, please stop!" Yukina suddenly exclaimed as she took sight to a man in red, who was seemingly tired, as it manifested in his physical appearance. Rattus immediately braked his car when he heard her. She then went down the car and ran towards the man in red with the giant sword. Upon reaching him, she then asked "Stranger, are you alright?"

Rattus also exited his vehicle and started to walk towards Yukina while she was observing the man.

She pulled out her gun and got ready to respond.

'The innocent is defending the evil. Deluded innocent. Must die. Must neutralize evil first. Threat to great.'

Amelia swung her sword, red lighting passing harmlessly though the woman with no magic and surged at the evil.  Spinning on her heel after the swing she picked four round spheres with her left hand from her pouches, tossing them at the evil at an arc, over the woman. With all her speed such an action took no more then a second.

'There that should deal with the evil'.

"Those who protect evil must die". And she began charge at the woman with all her speed.

The socket hissed as the tube reconnected onto it. The connection also made an immediate audible click once his fingers let go. He looked on expectantly for a reaction, but nothing seemed to be happening. Perhaps, it was too late for this poor creature. It was all alone in this city. Completely alien by existence. Henry shook his head and sighed at this as he felt its life was waning away.

"Sorry, whoever you are. There's really not much I can do," he apologized sadly at the construct with a hand on its metallic beak, "At the very least you're not the only one who's a stranger in these parts."

Henry gave another pat, until a sudden jolt from behind. There was an ungodly amount of spiritual energy emanating away from this location. His curiosity had again peaked with his attention away from the dying creature. But it was a dilemma. To leave it here to die alone? It seemed cruel, but--

He quietly made a promise, "I'll be back. Just sit tight."

Shopping Complex X?

It wasn't a very long run, neither was he out of breath. While the night was still relatively young, the trail of energy continued to spew away as if with the fluidity of a river. Out of all these years Henry was on Earth, this was his first time experiencing this kind of phenomenon. Certainly this city-- no, rather this world provided such strange wonders here.

It was getting closer now. The intensity of the flowing energy increased with each step towards it. But then, an interesting spectacle forced him to finally stop to hide behind the concealment of a wall and its overbearing shadows. With his eyes peaking over the wall, the scene promises to be a violent one.

A woman was clearly armed with a handgun aimed at another, cloaked in scarlet electricity, who was already throwing itself to attack. Whoever this one was, he was really fast and the aggression was apparent. Glancing over to the side, was an innocent green trashcan...

The bombs were about to arc over this blonde lady's head. But at the same time, as if intercepting the trajectory of the incoming live ammunition, the ample bowels of trashcan duly received them before allowing any to separate on their respective routes. With bombs collected into that simple waste basket full of yesterday's half-finished spaghetti, it was already on a collision course to land upon the armed aggressor.

"Ok, then."

Minato without another word drew his sword, Holy Grail Lucifer if one were to care to name it properly.

The five wolves charged all at once; One of them leaping at him before being killed by a thrust through the throat.

The second was slashed in half vertically as it reached him.

The third and fourth froze and were decapitated with a single slash.

Finally the fifth rushed at him from behind only for Minato to plant his blade into the side of it's head without even turning to face it.

The entire exchange took about four seconds.

The reduction in the local pest population concluded, Minato stowed his sword and turned to see that Tokiomi had eliminated his as well.

"Well that was just a little pointless..."

Minato looked thoughtful for just a moment.

"So you said tea, right? I actually have several different teas at home, we could just go there, it isn't far and no werewolf will go within a block of it."

With bombs collected into that simple waste basket full of yesterday's half-finished spaghetti, it was already on a collision course to land upon the armed aggressor.

As soon as the spheres hit the bottom of the trashcan they cracked and shattered. And from them the antimagic wave in a from of a tempest of red lighting was released in every direction, hellbent to consume all magic in its wake.

And with it the old Spaghetti splattered in all directions.

The resident blinked in confusion. A wave of bloodlust swept over the area, and his eyes narrowed to golden slits. While the women put herself in front of him, drawing a gigantic gun, the resident simply focused on the figure attacking them. A pulse of red, lightning-like energy shot harmlessly through the woman in front of him, and that was the signal for the resident to move.

He ducked downwards into an inhumanly fast crouch, legs splayed, letting the wave of lightning sweep overhead. Drawing back a hand that curled into a claw, the resident was about to shoot forward underneath the woman's legs, aiming to avoid the bombs that the figure had thrown when another man burst onto the scene. In a single movement, ha had collected all four bombs within a trash can, where the fragile things promptly exploded.

A storm of red lightning was unleashed, causing the resident to spring back with unmatched speed as the waves of energy passed through the other combatants harmlessly. He wasn't fast enough to avoid some of the tendrils, but assumed that he could block them. Instead, as soon as they touched his body, the resident felt pain. Losing his strength, he crashed straight into the wall behind him, cratering it from the speed at which he was moving, and could move at no longer.

The resident's entire body was wracked with painful spasms as he struggled to stand. Even merely attempting to do so consumed more energy then it should have. Through the fog of pain that clouded his mind he noticed that the leaves of the vine on the bookstore were no longer rustling. Something had removed his abilities. There was no other explanation for the leaf's lack of movement, though his body still regenerated with each spasm, being damaged and then healed over and over again.

The resident focused right on the figure. Whatever the red lightning was, it had anti-magical or supernatural properties. As the waves had shot from both the figures sword and bombs, there was not telling what it might be able to use them with next. The resident observed the figure from his position in the cratered wall, summoning the strength to move for one quick burst if needed.

Songbird was no longer gasping for breath, yet the pain was unbearable. When he opened his eyes, he found that he could not focus clearly, as if they refuse to stay still long enough to allow clarity. He was able to see movement, however, and saw a small figure darting away.

Like any injured animal, only one thing ran through Songbird's mind: Find shelter! He tried to sit up several times, but the result was always the same. So, Songbird settled on crawling his broken form to a nearby alleyway, leaving a noticeable blood trail in his wake. It was a slow and excruciating trip, but one that had to be made regardless; to be caught like this in the open was a death sentence, especially with the sounds that he could hear in the opposite direction.

Once the giant bird-man got into the relative shelter of the alleyway, he used the building to prop himself up into a sitting position. The pain was so intense that his vision was filled with red.  At least now he has the ability to swipe at potential enemies, but that would only hold off the inevitable if worst comes to worst.

That was clearly something he should not tamper with. The interdimensional transporter, developed by Speedwagon Foundation's professor Walentynowicz, propelled him into destination unknown, breaking afterwards. He was the assistant scientist who was meant to test that device and go on a short trip to Georgia and back to Moscow. As the machine was not of his own making, he did not possess necessary understanding of how to make it work again.

"I guess I will keep the belt, just in case" he sighed. He was pleased though he did not land in a dumpster or something. He ended up in a back alley though, a blessing since probably nobody realized a huge popped out of thin air.

As Gabriel walked to his car, he blinked as he sensed a rather strong need approach.  The frustration was enough to make his own body tighten; it was the half of him that was incubus that wanted to satisfy that urge.  Then he also noticed that the source of this extreme frustration was a virgin.

Turning, he saw the source of said carnal need and felt a slow smile grace his lips.

He was assaulted with her need, and something else.  There was a quality to her, something that sparked something within him.  Looking at that perfect, voluptuous form, he felt a bit crazed.  An urge was coiling within him and he felt himself react to her.

Automatically, he turned on his Lure in response to get her attention.

La Folia felt something change in the air around her. It was as if her subconscious was telling her that she had already found the target of her desires, despite having barely just steeled herself for that purpose. Her gaze followed her subconsciousness, and that was how her eyes came upon that very target; A dark-haired man with a bottle of alcohol who, until a moment ago, was getting into his car.

No, dark-haired  was not doing it justice. It was as if his hair had the color of outer space, a nonreflective surface that was so gorgeous she could barely believe it. And it was attached to a man just as gorgeous. Sharp features even paler than her own skin, wide shoulders, and a pair of beautiful violet eyes that followed her own blue eyes.

But most of all was the feeling she simply couldn't place. It was as if she could already feel that this man could, and would, satisfy her, as if her maddening need to get off could be sated by this man. And for that exact reason, without asking his name, without even questioning if the feeling that was over here was something he put upon her by forcibly, the beautiful form of the silver-haired Aldeigian princess began walking directly towards the handsome form of the man clad in darkness, the swing in her hips widening considerably as this inhumanly flawless man seemed to be under the same interest as La Folia; She wanted him right now, and him her.

JoJo

He heard howling from far away, and what seemed sounds of battle. Slashes.

"That does not sound good. Feral wolves in a city. Someone attacked? Whoever is this, he or she dealt with that" he crossed his arms, pondering what to do. "Eh, come what may! I don't know anything about this place, I have to ask locals, whoever they are". Following his senses, he reached place when he saw two young men. He did not know what language was spoken here, so he said in English: "Excuse me, are you perhaps familiar with that place. I'm a tourist" Josip opted to not reveal his reason why ended up here "and I got lost here"

“But enough about something so trivial. I am interested in why you would do something like hiding your true gender. Maintaining an illusion for such of purpose seems like a waste.”

"Oh? You believe that this is my true gender? The male aspect and I are both Grigori. Two sides of the same coin. This would most likely make sense if I properly introduced myself. My name is Grigori, but I am also the God of Death, and like most gods I am made up of two aspects. It may be difficult to believe, so I'll simply show you." Grigori smiled. Flesh rotted away and the essence of a god was made bare to the world. Then a thousand voices began to whisper. They spoke of death and decay, of grand structures crumbling to dust, and the inevitability of the end, and they spoke of what waits beyond...

Flesh grew back, and the whispers were silenced. "I'm sure that is enough proof for you. It seems like the shadow has already performed it's business. Should we follow it?"

"Well, we seem to be far, far from home. Where do you think we ended up this time?"

"Ah, Hazama. Considering the lack of seithr and this new energy, I am unsure. Only two possibilities exist. The Cauldron either sent us to an alternate timeline where this new energy was discovered, or we have been throw into a completely different world. No. The former must be false. Nothing outside of the Master Unit's memories can be created. Considering the fact that we have only discovered this energy recently it is safe to assume the latter. We are outside the influence of the Master Unit, Hazama. However this also creates the possibility of another force attempting to interfere. I require more data. Lets split up and look around for anything that could give us a hint about where we are, or why we're here." Not even bothering to acknowledge Hazama's opinion, Relius walks away from the statue.

Well that tingled . . . was Forest's first thought when the red energy field passed through her.  It just sort of felt like the buzz of a vibrator.  Nothing unpleasant, just sort of odd, that washed through her.  She also noticed that the armored figure's attacks were concentrated at the person behind her.

Some grenades were dropped, which some fellow placed in a trash can that promptly exploded.

Forest automatically lifted her arm to her face to shield herself from the ongoing splash of spaghetti.  The smell of old tomato sauce and rancid garlic was enough to make her gag.  Not to mention it was covering her duster and in her hair.  Gritting her teeth as she watched the socially-awkward man who wanted apple seeds and water return the attackers blows with super natural force.

Until they let out that red field again.

Sighing Forest holstered her gun.  There were too many people who could get hurt by a stray bullet.  Or a bullet that went through her intended target into something else.  Magnums were sort of known for that.  Then she sprang forward into action, moving swiftly until she met the armored figure head on and aimed a punch at the back of her neck.

I'd suggest you stop this nonsense or I'm going to be pissed off, Forest sent before just sighing and decided that maybe it was time to take a different approach.  One she wasn't fond of, but worked really well.  She reached into the attacker's mind, hearing thoughts about stopping some "evil", but forced a command.

STOP!

******

Gabriel switched off the Lure as the girl approached, a noticeable extra sway in her steps.

She was an exotic thing, even by his standards.  Long white hair that shimmered with silver when the light hit it and sea blue eyes.  Then those curves, he thought with a smirk as she approached.

The urge to take her was strong, to hear her cry out in bliss as that luscious body curved back.  He was dimly aware that she was a virgin.  Normally he avoided those like the plague; too many complications there.  However there was just something about this young woman that he found himself needing to defile.

When she was almost to the old Thunderbird convertible he drove, he smiled and said, with the hint of an Irish lit, "Hello."

Zolgen watched as the flesh and whispers faded, hardly impacting him at all. ‘A god? That change is more than possible for a powerful Dead Apostle of some kind. And considering the nature of the world it is more than possible that I have not heard of… her, or is it him?’

"I'm sure that is enough proof for you. It seems like the shadow has already performed it's business. Should we follow it?"

‘Then again, I have met demigods due to the grail war and the nature of this city is like the second in its own way’ Zolgen then spoke his thoughts concluded.

“Well I must say, it is not every day one meets a god, you will have to forgive my manners.” Zolgen closed his eyes for moment looking through the eyes of one of his familiars in town. “And as for that shadow, it is unnecessary, she has been murdering people for the last few days, and as such I and keeping my familiars watching her,”

Zolgen smiled, “Information is the greatest treasure after all, especially of erratic elements. “

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STOP!

The command hit Amelia, however due to the mental hardening splashed off her mind like water.

Too bad the spaghetti had splashed in her eyes leading to her only seeing a glimpse of deluded innocents advance. The blow should have been easy to avoid such an attack and counterattack, but with Amelia’s lack of experience and vision she scrambled.

She dove to the side and the blow knocked off the mask tied to her arm. Suddenly for all in the area they could see he features, and for Amelia all the emotions she would have felt all night came rushing back.

Tears began to flow, she started to tremble, “n-no… p-please no.” Her voice, a delicate little thing, was trembling. “I-I don’t want to die.”
Curling up into a ball she wept, begging over and over again for them to have mercy. “I was just trying to stop the evil. P-please. Don’t kill me. Please.”
