“Tch.” Faust watched in annoyance as the mad knight leapt out of the way and narrowly dodged his attack. He raised his arm, preparing to launch another attack, but paused when he saw the knight go flying, as if he had been slammed with an invisible freight train. Faust raised his eyebrow, What is that man thinking? He watched while the man sailed through the air, He shook his head and returned to casting his spell, thinking nothing more of it. He whispered a word, and a roaring ball of fire streaked from his outstretched hand, plummeting at the prone knight.

Rebeca

She couldn’t help it, she started to laugh. It was soft but it was obvious she found something really funny.

She then moved over, using his cupped hands to boost herself out. “Now, keep calm big boy. No reason to get so hot and bothered.”

It was the one thing she liked about being a mind reader. It was really easy to tease people.

Grenth

Grenth looked over at the new arrival, a spear in his hand. “Yes, quite. Now calm yourself, no reason for such hostility. I simply desired to teach you to have some manners, like to properly introduce yourself instead of skulking around like a thief.”

He looked over to the two which were fighting he sighed, “Now calm down, both of you. There is no reason to act like children.”

Then one of the men began to scream. And with a sigh, Grenth waved a hand, encasing him in a giant sphere of ice.

"Until you calm down you can wait in there." Grenth said even though the one in the sphere could not hear him.

Mia

Mia was confused, the man smiled but he wasn’t happy. Something was wrong. It happened when the new person showed up. And with that Mia’s eyes focused on that one.

She frowned a bit as small flickers of miasma shot of her body. Her red eyes glowing with otherworldly light.

But she would not punish the meanie, because the man did not want her to.

She would be a good girl for now.

He grunted in disapproval. As much as he hated this, he has no means of any form of magical resistance. The moment he became caught in a spell is the moment he has lost. It's a rule Time was more than familiar with as someone who lacked magical potential.

"Fine," He dropped the blade and allowed it to clatter to the asphalt, "Now undo your spell, magician."

Forest

Forest frowned and said, "No, Saber's not a vampire.  She's a tiny girl with a great big glowing sword that shoots laser beams.  She works with the cops.  We don't have a Dragur problem . . .  And supernatural isn't exactly hidden here."

She could practically taste Calico's doubt.  Maybe Saber can beat some sense into him.

"Speaking of which, I need to get to her because there's some blighted wanker killing kids that I need to stop."

Law frowned. This situation was getting crazier and crazier. Apparently Forest knew what type of vampire the newcomer was. Good. The problem was that he didn't know, which was bad. Forest was apparently of the 'Friendly Neighborhood' variety. Hopefully this one wouldn't sparkle or fight with the power of love or be an alien from the moon.

"Uh, guys? Can we you know, get going? It's kinda cold, and Saber's waiting."

Crest

Crest just stared at her like she was crazy.

“Wait, really? You aren’t messing with me right?” He questioned. But the completely serious look on her face made him realize that this wasn’t some stupid joke.

He just had no words; he spent so long living in those wilds. He dreamed on day to be able to return to his village and make a living. He dreamed one day to see the sights he never was able to see, the Broken Mountains, the Glass Forest, all those amazing sights left unseen, untouched by his hands.

He had no words, so he just started to laugh, “Ha. Hahaha. HAHAHAHA!” His laughs got worse as they continued, until it could almost be call insane. “AGHHH!”  And then suddenly he stopped laughing and let out a roar as he punched the wall, his rejection of matter manifesting and ripping a hole in it.

Then he just pulled out his fist and put his hand up to his face, “What kind of sick joke is this…”  He muttered.

I mean, how can someone remain calm in such a situation, taken away from everything they wanted to see, everything they dreamed, and everything they knew.

This was definitely a natural reaction. Crest didn't care who saw him like this, he just learned he was ripped away from his life, no matter how hard it might have been.

Why would he give a damn what people would think.

Deborah

"What?" she was dumbfounded by Forest's statement "You don't hide yourself from mortals? That's so really irresponsible I cannot even find proper words to describe that... You are aware that it only attracts some misguided people to 'hunt' us? There was a hooded man in last domain I visited which would be branded a serial killer by authorities if he killed humans. His sheer obsession elevated him to such level he could take on even us."

Ann

"If you don't rot it away, sure. I suppose the gentleman should offer the lady some token of appreciation for her company."

Death incarnate let out a short laugh as she clung to Sarse. "I suppose you could always offer me something less transient than a tool built by the hands of man."

The hand that was playing with the angel's hair left its position, sneaked down the collar of his suit jacket, and began to rub against his bare chest. "Why don't you show me what lies underneath this vessel of flesh and bone? In return, I may be willing to show you what hides beneath mine."

Caedia

The Arisen stared at the man as he began to lash out at his surroundings. Caedia was many things but she was not a people person. After your only company for a while has been emotionless Pawns who required nothing your social skills become a little rusty. So she simply watched Crest impassively and waited for him to calm down.

Sarse's eyebrow twitched over Ann's gestures. Damnit, this was not proper road safety! Just because he was an angel didn't mean physical distractions didn't bother him.

"I'm... going to have to pass on that idea." He responded hesitantly. His celestial form alone would disturb the Symphony more than was desirable. He didn't want to know what Ann's true form would do. The effects would no doubt be of a magnitude much greater. Half-jokingly, he continued in a way that wasn't technically a lie, "Maybe once we know each other and our limitations better."

Cutting off to the left, Sarse slowed down into an easy pace as he weaved through the road and around slower vehicles.

Ann

"We can get to know each other right now, little angel." The  layers of her cloak became thinner until it had the thickness of tissue paper as she held onto Sarse even tighter.

"Tell me of your creation, Angel of Choice. What is your first memory once you came into being?"

Crest

Crest took a deep breath as he started to calm down. He can have another freak-out later, but if there was civilization here he had to stop of on supplies, getting flung around broke a lot of his remaining arrows.

“Sorry about that… I had a bit of a freak-out there.” He said, refusing to meet Caedia in the eyes. “Do you know the quickest way to actual civilization; I need to stock up on supplies.”

After that he could come back here and establish a hunting camp, but he had to leave a lot of supplies behind when the Saint found him.

Sakura continued fidgeting, looking around the room nervously. She was still feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the situation. She discreetly glanced at Rider, trying to figure out what she should say. I haven’t seen Rider in three years; there’s so much I want to talk to her about. But this isn't the time to do catching up! But Senpai. I need to know about Senpai!

“Rider, do you know where...” Sakura’s voice trailed off, and she bit her lip, trembling slightly.

What if she doesn’t know? This Rider isn't the same Rider as mine, after all. Why would she know where Shirou is or how he’s doing? What if he’s dead! I don’t want to hear that! Please don’t be dead! Sakura burst into tears and flung herself at Rider, grabbing her shoulders.

“Senpai is alright, right Rider! He’s not hurt, is he! Please tell me he’s ok!” Sakura choked out. “He’s fine, right?” Sakura’s face was full of hope and longing, but her eyes were wide open, filled with fear and terror. “H-he’s safe, right?”

Costin barely had the time to react as the ice grew rapidly around him until it completely encased him in a sphere.
All struggle was made impossible, his shocked expression was the only one he could muster as he was sealed off by the frost, unable to speak or hear what was happening around him.

"Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn DAMN!"

The fiend of the night had now realized that he was in grave danger, the spearman was surely after him, and another wrong move could put al three men against him. Normally he wouldn't mind, but there was still the itch inside his head...

"Kill"

Unbearable, the noises became louder and louder, the screams tearing his mind apart, the vampire could not bear it any longer.

"Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill"

"Breathe, calm down Costin... calm down, they are dead, their voices... not real, breathe Costin, calm down..."

In what felt like an eternity, the dead apostle had to stand still, fighting the noise, the screams, the pleas , the insults and the threats. He had to drown out the cascade of sound slowly eating at him.

"Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill Die Kill"

He had to think, he had to overwhelm the voices in some way. Shutting his eyes, he tried as hard as he could to remember the music, the songs to keep them quiet, the songs to clear his mind.

"Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die  DIe Die Die  DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die  DIe Die Die DIe Die Die  DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die DIe Die Die"

Clear, like a river, a gulp, he felt the noises slowly becoming less loud, weakening as he emptied his mind the best he could.

"__________________________________"

After a period that felt dragging on for an excruciating amount of time, he finally found silence, Costin was pleased: the voices were finally gone.

Thus, as his muscles finally relaxed, he came back to his senses.
Even after all this, the dead apostle's fury had to wait, he needed first of all to get out of this situation.
Luckily, even frozen, his hand still made contact with the cold asphalt ground, fingers twitching, he could still put a bit of prana in there.

But he still did not like his position. Dying was the last thing he wished, Costin wished to live no matter what, the Spearman was dangerous, but the old man did not go for the kill, even if he easily could have with his magic.
Then there was the swordsman, he knew not what to do of him, but he had no desire to kill him any longer, he did not wish to resume fighting against him for now. Their duel was put to a halt, The score would be settled another time.

For now, Costin had to escape his icy prison. As he focused blood on the palm of his hand, he felt a tingling sensation running down his spine and arm.
It wouldn't be pretty, but he did not truly have a choice.

As he focused, red energy formed around his hand, branching out across the ice, forming numerous paths until the sphere was fully covered by them. Seven circles, each with an identical sigil formed by blood ran on the icy surface, the set was finally complete, all he needed was to activate them.

As he readied himself, the heretic let out a sigh, hoping for the best.

Forest

Forest sighed, rubbed her forehead and resisted the urge to bash it into the wall.  Law was right, and Calico . . . Would he be Emiya Shirou or Archer?  It has to be one of the two from what Saber said, but didn't she say that Shirou had 'copper' color hair while Archer's was white as snow?  This guy . . . has . . . Lord and Lady, this is an Emiya Shirou on his way to becoming this Archer guy.  Bugger, Saber is either going to be over the bloody moon or worried as all get out.  Lancelot with his MurderDeathKill thoughts is hard enough to deal with, but at least he restrains his urge to horribly murder me.

Then there was this World of Darkness vampire lecturing her about breaking the Masquerade.  Her nose twitched and her indigo eyes narrowed at the other vampire.  She tried to remember what she knew about Vampire: The Masquerade and its Clans and whatnot. Of course, it has to be something I'm not familiar with.  If she was from the Dresdenverse or Buffy or even the bloody Vampire Chronicles I'd know what I'm dealing with.  All I remember is that different clans have different powers and super speed and blah blah blah.

"I'm sorry, but the Masquerade is a bunch of twaddle.  This is Nexus City; the rules are different here, and even if things are kept secret some wanker is always trying to kill me.  I'm not exactly Miss Popularity.  Now, please give me my blood or I'll take it from you, and I'm a bit miffed right now," Forest said with a sardonic grin as she held out her hand to the vampire.

Deborah

Fuck, her senses are sharp she cursed, reluctantly handing over Forest's blood: "It's not as if I'm able to do anything dangerous with that." She was clearly not enthusiastic about being forced to give back research samples. "And you know, I don't cares about rules here, don't expect me hold hands in friendship with with humans. God made us different from humans, and defying him only courts disaster. Those 'wankers' chasing you around might be a reminder from Him"
