Then he looked at Eruraviel and asked, "Will you let her touch your ears she promises to behave?  I can understand you not wanting to have your ears touched, but she's never encountered one as yourself so she's curious."

A frown marred his handsome face as he looked at Amanda.  "However, she just may want to know what makes you tick."

Haaah. This sure brings me back. He thought to himself while eyeing the giant skyscraper. It should take him no more than two jumps.

The earth cracked and boomed. Not once, not twice but thrice. With three steps he had reached the peak and violently shattered the roof apart. People screamed, others were crushed by rubble. The least fortunate ran for help but gargles and found his face caved in the wall as a halberd launched like a missile skewered him into thick stone.

"Phew. Hit just the right spot on my back." The demon whistled a tune at the scene of his handywork and walked towards the impaled body, humming jovially before ripping his axe from the crater and the body mulched into it. "Helloooooooooo!!" Bigger fodder came, some banging for doors to open and others digging through rubble. Pop, snnnap, crack and schwing!

"Wait a second...." He remarked "Shit, this is the wrong address!" He cried out in frustration while shattering through the floor to reach the one below, and started cleaving everyone down anyways. Waste was not a good thing.

"Ah... is that what you're going to do? You really don't want to start a fight right now, Breeze. Anyone here could get hurt! You, me, your friend, all the innocent people around too. That's no good. Someone who would put everyone in danger like that, a hero would definitely need to deal with them." Her eyes narrowed, not even a hint of delight visible in them. The smile was still on her face, but it was more etched on than anything else. Not even this serious attitude could hope to throw off that carefree grin. The dissonance only made it more striking.

"A real hero would go away when being near someone hurts them." Her knuckles cracked into fists, and the burning essence flowing through her muscles surged in readiness. The scowl on her face was... disturbing. Almost unnaturally so as people facing Breeze's front took a step back. Even the lights above them seemed to flicker in fear of her growing anger. "The only one here who's going to endanger anyone is you."

The insults washed right over Breeze like a gentle wind, and once she was sure Tanis wasn't going to launch a pointless sneak attack she sighed and let herself ease up. "Haah, I hate it when girls get mean..."

She finally came to a stop as she took a quick glance into the future. Then she simply placed her back against one of the still intact walls as if she had been waiting there all along. True to her foresight, a survivor stumbled through and the lumbering warrior was quickly in sight. "So, you're the creature that's been tearing through this building?"

He didn't have the time to finish, the back of his skull was skewered and left a long blade protruding from his mouth, replacing his tongue. The demon sighed and lifted his weapon, letting the corpse hang off the pole like a trophy flag. His hollow helm smiled while slooowly walked towards her from the other side of the hall.

"Are you to join them little girl? Hehehe, it sure is nice being young, but wasting your life is a rookie mistake. What a turn off, are women and gutless bugs all this city has to offer!?"
