Of course, Charlotte didn't miss the clear distraction in Nero's face and the sound of something humping her ass, but she figured it could wait for now. There were more important questions to be answered here than why a lizardman was that small and had dicks larger than its own body.

So it's a safety thing, that makes sense, Forest thought before smiling at Chocola.

"No, I get what you're coming from.  If some Mortal Jane comes here wanting a monster gang bang you couldn't give it to her because she probably be wrecked during the encounter.  Which could lead to a whole insurance nightmare," Forest said.

She tilted her head and said, "I like the physical.  Mental stuff can be iffy to get it to take on me anyway.  So, you got an incubus around here?  It's not that you're not adorable, you are, but just not my type."

The little blond succubus cocked her head. She looked rather confused and had a pouty lower lip. "I can shapeshift, you know. I can be a guy just as easily as I can be a girl." She stuck out her tongue at Forest. "I'm equally experienced regardless.

"So why didn't you become a guy in the . . . never mind.  That's good to know," Forest said with a sigh and rubbing her forehead.

"This is becoming bloody complicated.  The story of my entire existence."

--! His spine shuddered instinctively at her words and glare. Hah, as if, her soul was certainly terrifying but this little girl was still a little girl, with likely no experience on the war-field. He could crush her like a grape, there was no reason to feel intimidated!

"A queen? Hah! That's rich, so basically if I kill you I get to be king! Hahahahahaahahahahaha!" His laughter roared like thunder, as if overjoyed by the notion, or just overjoyed in general by her reaction. He went as far as t crouch a little, to bring his head closer to hers while he rubbed it in the dirt. "Just kidding, your crown probably wouldn't fit. Then again a little miniature hat wouldn't look so bad on me eh?"

He gave the rag-doll a nonchalant kick to roll her up, so they could have a civilized conversation. When you talk to your betters, you should look them in the eye no? He tilted his head and narrowed his glowing green eyes.

"Maybe you should ask a little more politely, or this little whelp will smear you like tomato paste. The world's changed remarkably since I was asleep, the booze's way better for one, so why don't you start with letting me know what went on in here for the last three thousand years?"

The general blinked.

"A piece of paper..." She muttered under her breath, as if disbelieving this was real. Had humans really become so cheap??? She couldn't help but shake her head in pity, giving her a sad smile.

"That is an inadequate reward for your efforts, dear vassal. The languages is a valued skill, you will certainly be of great use to me! Then again it is only natural that you could prove yourself considering I spoke of you in such high regard. But this?! This simply cannot do..."

She reached for her own secret pocket and searched through it, grinning when she suddenly felt what she was looking for!

"Lo and behold, my glorious diploma! It is the crystallized heart of the elder demon I had slain at the age of twelve! It even has sacred runes inscribed in it for preservation, here, see?"

She definitely wasn't showing off now. Not at all!

Her words interrupted by the occasional moaning, the clearly distracted empress nevertheless answered with her gaze locked on the cowgirl, only acknowledging the lizardman by rythmically circling her behind with him on it to signal her approval.

"After all, umu, i love my citizen, hm, and whoever loves me, ah, is a citizen!"

The anger died down as the angel seemingly accepted her predicament. Strangely enough, despite her head being furiously rubbed against the dirty ground, none of the dirt stuck to her. Not a speck of dirt could be seen on her as imlausible as that may seem, it was like the world itself was conspiring to maintain her purity.

"Hahaha...You may beat me as much as you like, but you can't slay me. If you truly wish to become king then you would have to marry me and grant me an heir.... and you are not fit for that role anyway."

Her red eyes softened their gaze, regarding him with a great deal of humor now. "But I will grant your other wish. Three thouand years ago, this area was lush and ripe for the taking. The land even then going by the odd name of Nexus, was going through an extended medieval stage, one lasting many millenia. The city itself saw much suffering and strife. Conflict was inevitable in such times and conflict was exactly what happened as you might imagine."

Oh she was having a good time here and the best part was that she was just getting started.

"The war raged on, land was exchanged from one lord to another, until one day a great and terrible plague struck the land, killing large swathes of the population. Some say it was the will of the dragon, for spoiling the precious land so gracefully gifted to them. Others say it was an infestation of rats from another world. Whatever the case may be, the outcome was it was. The war ended, much resent was still had between the various factions, but they were forced to band together by necessity. A new organisation grew into being, one that ensured the future peace and well being of the Nexus, one that's still active by this day. The organisation known officially as the Lords of the Police."

Ah yes this would take a whiiiiile.

As Lora’s heartbeat spiked and Miyuki saw the blank paper over her shoulder, Miyuki quickly picked up on Lora’s predicament.

“Don’t worry, it’s just one assignment,” she whispered to Lora, knowing fully well that this probably wasn’t the first or last assignment missed by Lora due to her various heroics. Miyuki couldn’t quite remember whether she had ever told her, but simply being awake at the same time Mothra transformed was enough for Miyuki’s hearing to root out the secret by itself.

And so the girl, in an attempt to aggravate him, began to spil the long and extraordinary tale of the past events. She kept going, and going, and going...

But even more shocking, was that for once he listened!

"KHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! HOW AMUSING, HOW AMUSING!! So even now, humans are as pathetic and foolish as ever. Heehee, it really does bring an old man to tears..." He even went as far as to wiping one for theatrics. boastfully mocking those pathetic humans, truly a race of nothing more than gnats too far beneath him for him to care.

And then it clicked, and the giant scratched his ear in confusion, or rather what would be his ear if he had any.

"...wait. Eh? Nexus you say? But is this not Terra? I have only slept for so little..." His helmet showed some signs of puzzlement, expressive as it was. "Nevermind this rabble! What happened to the other nine? If I have managed to awake, it means the seal must've weakened. Where is the Demon King!"

The accusations of it all being a trap to ensnare Eruaviel made her chuckle lightly. "Please..
If I was trying to trick I'd go about it in a completely did way, this is just terrible. And I'm not terribly concerned with whether or not you trust me, I don't need you to be my friend, just listen to what I have to say."

She shot a glance at Archer who had snuck back in . "Why don't we put one on you then to make sure you aren't a spy? You recently arrived, and you're doing well, what's to say you aren't in their pocket."

Eruraviel

The elf turned to face Archer, her glowing red eyes peering through his soul, laying every motive completely bare, revealing his thoughts, his name, all of it. A creeping feeling clawed at him underneath his skin, as if there were insects crawling around inside him. Little invisible needles pricked his entire body, and poked and prodded him. Her red eyes felt like they were boring a hole through his soul. They looked evil and malicious.

The elf cocked her head at him, smiled, and then blinked. All the uncomfortable feelings disappeared as soon as she shut her eyes. She then turned back to Amanda. "I don't think he's working with them. He's too straight laced to want to enslave my brethren." She then turned back to Archer, her normal purple eyes having returned. "Right?"

"The only around here is me...." She gave him a critical gaze, yes he could be useful, and he wasn't one of those pesky humans. A strong demon like him was just what she needed right now, she'd even forgive him for this transgression, what a merciful mood she was in today! He should be thankful for it, grateful, kissing her feet, but that could come later.

"They must have not been unsealed, most likely they're in another realm as well.... I could help you with that, if you help me regain my lost power, know that I don't go back on my promises." With his ability in effect, there was no btter insurance she could give.

Actually there was one thing.

Lucy raised her left hand a bit, it hurt, but not as badly as the rest of her body, still she allowed none of that pain to show on her face, but an experienced warrior like the one in front of her might recognize the signs anyway, no matter it was sign of pride after all.

Strange swirls of holy energy coalesced next to them, no it was not holy, it was far from holy. What at first appeared as divine light itself given form was quickly perverted and twisted into something far more sinister, something abhorrent. Lucy clenched her hand into a fist, a painful grunt escaped her facade and the unholy power took form. a new life was born before them.

It was but a lowly imp, but even this lowly creature was unquestionably a demon. It took off into he sky with its feeble wings, exhibiting not a shred of gratefulness for its maker.

Archer

"You're going to go ahead and search the place, and your magecraft is far more advanced than mine," Archer said with a half grin and a shrug, "I'm pretty sure you won't find anything amiss."

Anything else died on his tongue when Eruraviel looked at him with her crimson eyes.  It reminded him eerily of Ilya, and when he felt something scouring in his mind.  It felt as if he was being dissected and laid open before her as she revealed all of his secrets.  Bile rose in his throat as he found the bitter taste of coffee wanting to force its way out on his tongue.

Then she closed her eyes and the connection was broken.

The prana that was beginning to form in his hands at the sign of attack faded into faint golden sparkles as his heart hammered in his chest.

"As someone who's been a slave themselves, I don't want to force that on anyone," Archer said as he took a deep breath to relax, glaring at the elf girl.

Amanda

The elf girl appeared to be probing Archer based on his reaction, She raised her hands as she saw the glow coming from him but quickly averted when it faded away.

That still left the now annoying presence still sitting on her lap.

"are you planning on sitting here all evening?" She directed her question towards Eruaviel.

Oh why that-- she was going to give this entire tower a might divine punishment! The punch it would get would be so righteous that the whole countryside would burst into heavenly flame! "Throw me at the wall, Sakura. This tower's going to get a lesson it won't forget for one hundred incarnations!"

"Huh? Why would you want to do that!? We can just burn it from up here!" Sakura exclaimed in confusion. Why would she want to go back to that thing?!?

" He gave the imp a curious look, but didn't give much thought to her powerful display other than an instinctual acknowledgment, no different than a beast recognizing the sharp thorns of a porcupine. "Maybe, no doubt that the one who freed the demons of their slumber would be acknowledged as the greatest of the ten! I like it brat, as sniveling and pathetic as you are you might just be of some use to me!"

In his agreeable and utterly mad fit of evil laughter, his foot began to press hard on her chest, enough for the veins in her body to start bulging out. Her pain was a really great sight to behold, how long had it been since he got to step on such a prideful little bitch? Ahhh, far too long. Angels really were the best to kick around!

"Fine! As long as you're of some use to my goals, I might just let you live peacefully. Hell, I might even lend you a hand or two if I grow bored. But the moment you start becoming a threat to the Demon King, I'll make sure to crush you like the vermin you are!"

And suddenly, in his infinite, bottomless, everlasting mercy he let her go. His grin was only matched by his unnatural head tilt as he looked down on the now unpinned girl, who was by all means free to go.
