"You are facing the Lady of the ni-agh"

Valerie had remained standing upside down on her hands now moving in the slightest after her latest attack had failed to land. As a result his chop to her midsection hit its mark, knocking the air out of her and making her fall over.

....

"Are you challenging me, the King of Vampires to a duel? You who claim to be a dragon?" She sat up and looked at him with old and weary eyes.

Yusho

A moment of quiet passed between the two.

And Yusho halted himself, teeth clicking together. The Exalted faced the so-spoken King with eyes that bared his seriousness, the immanent aura of his elemental power shining blue around his body. Frightening foe in only the seeming of a human or not, he should not stand to disrespect a lord in her home, most of all in an unfamiliar land.

He bowed his head steeply, though the gesture creeked with disuse. "My profuse apologies. I became ahead of myself in the throes of our exchange, when you were merely defending your estate," he said, before looking up to her, his sole eye gleaming. "I have no such aspiration at the moment, King."

The Dragon-Blooded pressed his right first against his straightened left palm. "If you'll allow me starting over. I am Yusho, formerly known in my order as Fervent Gale."

"Raised well and with good manners you were." The Vampire had leapt back to her feet in one fluid motion, if his display had any effect she did not display through her regal mannerism.

"But not too well, I can taste the conflict within you, this goes against your nature does it not?"  He had introduced himself with what must be a flashy title, then perhaps a school of sorts.

She licked her lips while taking a few steps to the side and moved around him. it was quite hard to pinpoint what exactly he was but it just had to be something tasty. Control was important, she couldn't just throw herself at the first juicy package to walk onto her land, she had a reputation to uphold.

"Fervent Gale..." She let it roll on her tongue as if trying the word out. "Were you perhaps a member of a martial arts school, no, forgive my overindulgence. Would you like a tour of my residence?"

Lighthart

"HMHFHHH! What is the meaning of this! Aaaarghhh!" She cried out in protest, her tiny fists flailing around the air as she began to assault her like an unruly dog.

"You ruffian! Fiend! D-demon! Unhand me at once!" The tiny hands slammed adorably on the rosy cheeks again and again like a flurry of death, messing them up with childish force to make the message clear.

Jalut the True

"Hah! A girl with guts and honor! I like that! It's a shame she has taken a liking on you of all people." He barely restrained an evil cackle and taunted her by looking down on her, bringing his massive neck close to her so he could have a good look/ "Hrm,how strange. Are these even real?" He poked at the ears, never having actually seen a human with the features of an animal.

Suerte Martinez

A man sat at a table, staring down a large golden machine.  It was the jackpot machine, the most famous one in the entire casino.  It had been almost 10 years since anyone had won the jackpot from this machine.  Many people doubted its credibility.  Some assumed it was rigged.  Others say that no one really ever won from this machine to start with.  In any case, the legends are what kept this machine alive, a soulless monster that drained the wallets of those foolish enough to challenge its majesty.

"Well, here goes nothing," Rob said as he pulled down the lever.

Time seemed to stop as the machine roared madly, the symbols spinning so fast they blurred into thin lines.  Almost immediately, Rob began sweating madly, as if he just ran a marathon.  It was foolish to challenge this thing.  He wondered why this thing takes so much money even though its a slot machine.  Its because when you look at it, all you see is the empty regret of an empty wallet, the futility of a stupid gamble.

Round and round the symbols spun.  The first one was a big 7, the symbol of a jackpot.  The second one was.... another fucking 7.  The third.... a dud.  The man turned stood up and slunk away, staring at the ground like a child who had been grounded.  He can't believe he spent so much money on this stupid thing.  That was all he had to spend here.

It was then that she came.

A gust of wind caressed his skin as the doors flung open.  A pink...maybe purple haired girl strode confidently into the building.  Her wide hips moving from side to side accentuated her confident smile.  She took one look at the man, then at the machine and her confident grin grew even wider.  "I take it this is the big scary machine I keep hearing about?" she asked the man.

"Y-yeah..." he groaned, the disappointment clear in his voice.

The girl frowned at him.  "I take it you just finished playing here huh?"

"Yeah..."

She giggled for a second and muttered something.  He thought he heard her say, "This is always my favorite part."  In any case, she pulled the lever after inserting her money with an honest glee in her body language.  Compared to that monstrous instance, this one felt quick and completely painless.  An announcement wailed over the loud speaker, announcing the first winner in 10 years.  The man watched with wide eyes and a floored jaw as the cowgirl's feet were completely covered in coins.

After putting all the coins in a bag, she walked over to the man and extended her hand.  "Here take this," she said, placing it in his palm and rubbing his head.  If you try again, you might have better luck.

And just like that, she walked away.  The man had seen two beautiful things today, things he would never forget.

A-701 Report I [00.023.603]

The following is a brief report detailing the discovery of subject A-701.

Subject was discovered in a small crater in the [DATA EXPUNGED] district from orbit. Encased in a shell of a foreign obsidian substance, the fleshy exterior of the object was exposed by the impact. A farmer happened upon the site and reported his findings to the village elder. Subject gained our attention when an agent posted in the area detected a small radioactive anomaly generated by the object.

A collection squad of security personnel led by General [DATA EXPUNGED] was immediately dispatched to the area where they quickly secured the subject in a large container and performed initial testing with subjects recruited from the nearby village. Three men individually sent into the structure subsequently disappeared. Upon discovering this deadly property of the subject, General [DATA EXPUNGED] issued a Level 4a Termination Order of any witnesses (roughly 1/3 of the village) to ensure no outside knowledge of the object and initiated its transport to the CHEIRON facility [DATA EXPUNGED].

During preparation for transport, four CHEIRON security personnel were inexplicably drawn inside the object where they too immediately disappeared. Following inspection, it appeared as if the object had "grown" and was beginning to take a humanoid appearance. General Mulhausen immediately ordered the requisition of several Class III HAZMAT suits for the remaining security team members, who proceeded to lift the container onto a waiting truck for transport to the CHEIRON containment facility.

[DATA EXPUNGED]

[DATA EXPUNGED]

Following the termination of General [DATA EXPUNGED], subject A-701  was re-secured by staff and brought into special containment in [CLASSIFIED], where it currently resides. Staff with clearance below Level 3 have been denied access to the A-701 container without prior approval of at least two Level 4 staff after the incident.

Ezekiel

"Can you believe this?" A man resting up a tree tapped the paper with the back of his hand, relaxing under the cool breeze and the stars. His muscles glistened under the moonlight, and the freedom felt good. He couldn't find any clothes that could fit his large frame, so for now he had to make do with nothing. Hopefully no one would peek.

Then again, depending on how cute they were he didn't mind putting on a show. He had woken up a few hours ago, and he didn't recognize where he was. More importantly, the sky looked rather nice, and he enjoyed relaxing more than thinking about troublesome things.

He sighed happily and smiled. Just as he closed his eyes and let the cool wind carry over his well built body, more muffled criest of protest came from below. At first, he ignored them. Nothing to be worried about, he was free, naked, and life was good. The problem was that she didn't stop, so he gave her one more minute. Then two. Then three...

"Huh?  What's this about this time?" Still in his good mood, he finally acted like he had just began to hear her. She was a thin girl, the kind of stick that wouldn't be much fun picking your teeth with.  He ruffled his pale hair in frustration and groaned at the similarly naked and tied down woman, bound by dark tendrils that barely hid her body. He crossed his arms and let his legs rest on a branch, using the trees and foliage as the most comfortable bed no money could buy and looked at the stars. "Well, don't complain to me. You took my pants, so I took yours. Fair's fair. Now if only they fit..."

Maybe she was mad he disintegrated them instead of giving them back.

"Maybe that'll teach you not to put people in testing tubes." And with that, he hopped off the branch and landed on the ground in one swift and graceful motion, no less naked than he was when he came out of his mother's womb, or a few hours ago. The cries of protest, muffled as they were, grew in anger and volume, which caused him to scratch his ear.

"Well, I'm off. See you later, and don't do that again." And so he left, wondering if he'd see something interesting.

Suerte

A soft bird like humming filled the streets, as Suerte confidently strode down the side walk.  Bills poked out of her cleavage as she giggled uncontrollably at the realization that she wouldn't have to work for a while.  Back in her own backwater town, everyone knew about her power, so she couldn't exactly abuse it all the time like this.  With a city this big, she could just gamble for her money.

The humming came to an aburpt end as her eyes locked onto a strange sight.  An enormous man, wearing literally nothing wandered the streets without a care in the world.

"Well at least he works out," she muttered to herself as she gazed at his chiseled back.  She looked down at the bills struggling to break free from her cleavage.  Then back to his muscular back.

"Howdy!" she said, waving from a few feet away.

"W-we're here to explore! We don't have hostile intentions!" She exclaimed after a brief initial pause. "We're wondering what the secrets of this place is, is all!" She took a ready position in case of attack.

Ezekiel

"Ah? Pretty good, pretty good! ♪"  He answered with a glance behind him, as if singing a well humored tune. If his back was as chiseled as it was, the rest was even more hardened and sculpted. He turned around to look at the one who called him, blinked a little in surprise and held his arms out, oblivious to his attire or lack thereof.

"Why I must have come straight to heaven, who would've known I would meet such a pretty face under the moonlight. Is there something I can help you with?"

Suerte

Even as Suerte's hand instinctively reached for her pistol, her face began to tingle with embarrassment.  "So does that mean you came from hell?" she asked, curling her fingers around the butt of her gun.  "I mean you look good but I try not to hook up with people who walk around in public naked."

"How about we get some clothes?"  Even as she spoke, her pupils shifted to his muscular chest.  "I mean it looks good and all, but its not polite to flash a girl with ...that thing."

Archer

The white haired man smiled at Amanda's question and answered, "It stops being enjoyable when it becomes a job.  Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy repairing things and I do have a knack for it."

"And I like being my own boss.  I haven't had that freedom in . . ."

Archer felt his words trail off as he rubbed the back of his neck with a chuckle.

"A very long time."

"Hahahahaha! I guess so, you people have a funny sense of modesty. As far as I know it's not any more polite to go for a gun right after meeting a fella is it?" He scratched his chin at that, perhaps teasing her or perhaps just being his casual self.

"تجاوز" He uttered in a forgotten tongue. As if commanded by his words, shadows swirled around his body and wrapped around him. The darkness molded and changed shape until pitch black flames covered his form no differently than a shirt and pair of pants would, though still failing to close in on his abundant chest.

"Name's Ezekiel, though Zeke for short will do just fine. And you are...?" He asked her while looking away, glancing at the dark sky up there as if he was embarrassed.

Yusho

He tilted his head to follow her steps, lips quirking up with some unease. The feeling of being eyed up slightly distracted him from coming up with a response to the evident. His read on her casual words wasn't good enough drop his guard, but he had to spit out something adequate to sate her curiosity. Yusho supposed she hadn't heard of his prior association either, and oddly light words rose from his throat.

"I was a monk of the Immaculate Order, but it looks like my time away wore on my manners." He hummed frankly to punctuate it. There were misgivings in the way of joking about it, but. It would be good to have a roof over his head tonight, and someone to explain the ways of the city to him, he reasoned before continuing. "If it pleases you! It looks like an impressive abode, and I'd welcome being somewhere more... familiar."

Dahlia

The wolf boy was fairly simple minded, it seemed. She smiled at him without showing her teeth since Dahlia knew many monsters saw baring them as a threat or challenge. "I thought wolves did perform same-sex activities like that? Then again, that was only the males from what I heard."

Her pursuer's question was a good one. "Well, at the very least you owe me a pair of pants and a set of boots after all of this. We can see how much my forgiveness extends after that, sweetheart." She pointed her gun at her and pretended to shoot in an exaggerated manner.
