Yusho
"Perhaps I will," he remarked, allowing himself to be led out. A breath of fresh air - though it was more rancid than the wind that whipped at his face in villages like his hometown - cleared his ideas to some degree. The application of power and justice here were no less his business than anywhere else, fabled Prince of the Earth or not.
To that end, he'd likely have to count on others, and to lend an ear to them. Yusho leaned over, carefully listening and looking over Valerie as she turned to his attention.
Something in her demeanor, high-handed and sharpened so far, seemed to vacilate slightly with the request. It felt like a wary choice of words coming from one the former monk should have been wary of, and the weight of those things equalled out in his mind. It's not that it was endearing, but it brought some tranquility to know that perhaps his first ally in this place so far could falter relatably.
"I don't mind offering, scandalous moods aside," Yusho retorted, with a passing smile. "With the condition you'll look out for me in turn, your highness."
