Sakura and Shirou
Sakura, having been deposited on the bench she'd pointed out to the hyperactive squirrel-girl, watched as Nanako bounced off the bench, onto a tree and away into the distance, leaving her there to wait patiently for the girl to return with her beloved, and their food.
Shirou, meanwhile, was similarly waiting, a little distance from where she'd originally left him, a little worried about Sakura's welfare. Not that he thought the girl would intentionally harm his wife, of course, but it was possible that, in her enthusiasm, she had failed to take into account their relative squishiness. After all, Sakura had very nearly fallen from the girl's shoulders as they set off.
Fortunately, though, he did not have to wait too long, the enthusiastic and very quick girl returning in a flash and placing him on her shoulder, holding him in place with her fluffy tail before heading off to their destination. In no time at all, they had arrived, Shirou taking his place next to Sakura.
Seeing that the girl was excited and anxious to get started, they began to unpack the basket, laying a cloth over the table and then taking out box after box full of delicious Japanese food. Then, Shirou took out three plates and three pairs of chopsticks, placing one in front of Sakura, one in front of the girl and, finally, one in front of himself.
"OK, it's ready, you can start now", Shirou said, smiling. "Itadakimasu!"
"Itadakimasu!" said Sakura.
With that, the two of them waited for a few moments, to allow their guest to start or ask any more questions, before reaching out and taking some of the food from the boxes with their chopsticks.
