The Duke
"Nope!" he said, his voice peaking like a child who was saying the right answer in class. "However, it would be embarrassing to report this to Valarie before cleaning up the problem. I just sent an agent, but I want to look good for her. There are some options, but I do not like any of them. As for why Scott is interested in Valarie, you saw that other sad excuse for a vampire. Everyone is interested in Valarie, either because they get off to being afraid of her or they get off to being stepped on by her. Personally, I'm sick of killing these sad excuses for men."
The duke walked over to a white board on the wall, picked up the pen and drew a number one on the board. "The first is that we could send in a team of my personal guard, You see, I actually have access to an elite vampire swat team that serves as both my emergency body guard service, as well as a swift execution squad. Problem is, I think there will be casulties, and i'd prefer this to be bloodless, at least on my end."
He drew a number two. "The second option is the one presented by you my dear body guard. You could convince them to turn on each other, maybe start some big fight. In all the chaos, my men can swoop in and kill them all, thus ending this little terrorist cell. However, you seem a bit uncomfortable with the idea, so I am not sure I can rely on you to turn on your former associates."
He drew a number three. "The third option is simply that you could take them on missions, assassinating each one, but framing it as a death on the job. If they figure it out early, you can just call in the squad, but with each kill, you save more of my men's lives."
The duke placed the marker on his desk. "Brutal, but I think effective."
