Rider
Rider sat on the bed, listening to the conversation with a sad look on her face. She hated seeing Sakura like this. And, worse still, as Rin had pointed out, whatever killed Caster was obviously very powerful. Perhaps even more powerful than her and Vanguard combined. Without knowing who killed him or why, they could not be sure if Sakura herself were in danger.
After a brief discussion, Shirou suggested to Sakura that they leave her, Rin and Vanguard to work out what had happened. Rider agreed with the sentiment. Right now, Sakura was extremely upset. She needed love and comfort, and that was what Shirou was best at providing. She watched as the two of them left, a sad look on her face. She desperately wanted to be able to bring Faust back, to make things right again, but she knew there was nothing she could do. He was gone, and all they could do now was try to help Sakura recover from the loss as best as they could.
Before Sakura could leave, though, Vanguard spoke up.
"Wait", he called out, stepping forward.
"Sakura, I need to speak to you for a moment. Alone."
Rider glared angrily in his direction, astounded that he could be so insensitive towards Sakura's emotional needs. Of course, Sakura simply rebuffed him, and Shirou castigated him for his effort, before the two of them left the room together.
As soon as they had left, Rider turned to Vanguard, an angry look still on her face.
"Vanguard, Sakura is far too upset to talk to you right now. She needs to be with Shirou. If you have something truly urgent to say, then tell me and, if it is really necessary, I can inform her mentally", she said.
Then, she turned to Rin, putting on a softer smile.
"I'm sure there is no Grail War going on. I am Sakura's servant too, after all, if there was anything like that happening I would be involved. As for what killed Faust, though, I do not know. It would have to be someone powerful, though, even I would have struggled to defeat him in a straight fight."
