Seras

In spite of herself, Seras couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of triumph at her apparent success. It was at this point, however, that she realized that every eye in the room was on her, aside from the one guy who'd gone to check on the man she'd just clocked. The silence, already awkward, grew only more awkward still until the redhead grabbed the poor medic's hand.

The vampire's eyes widened as all attention was turned back to the...man? as he complimented Seras on that punch. Sure, she hadn't been trying to kill him, but that should've been hard enough to at least knock him out, even if he wasn't human to begin with...

The surgeons' requests for the man to sit down went unheeded as went on and on, asking for her name at the end of it.

"Seras," the vampire said simply, "If you'd like to return the courtesy, then you should let these people finish patching you up first."

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo smiled, stretching further before tapping his fist on his palm. His eyes were wide at the realization. These people weren't trying to attack him or eat him! They had simply taken the time to patch him up! Scratching his head, Kenzo looked around in embarassment. He already caused more trouble than he meant to, and he didn't want to trouble them. Besides, he wasn't hurting that bad. Juuust a flesh wound.

"Nah, I'm good. Thanks anyways. And, um, sorry for causing a commotion earlier. I was kinda, well, surprised by your wide array of... sharp metal things. Anyhow, I really owe you all one." He said, bowing before getting ready to take his leave.

Then, he heard a rumbling sound in his tummy. Immediately, Kenzo realized he hadn't eaten anything at all until now. Turning to the lady, he gave her a friendly tap on the back.

The medics were all watching in disbelief. On one hand, they hadn't quite finished yet. But honestly, one wouldn't tell he was hurt at all by looking at him. What was more surprising was that he really, really didn't seem to hold any enmity towards the lady who just punched him.

Crazy, stupid or simply that carefree? Honesty, it was hard to tell. Normally the woman would've had to be brought in for that display of violence, but if she left like that and if that man really didn't mind, there wasn't much they could do.

What was most odd, however, was how fast that man had recovered. Unnatural, unnormal. No human would be able to recover this fast, even with simple healing magic. Normally one wouldn't have gotten out of bed for at least three days. But the whole procedure went out impossibly fast, and now he was good as new. Or at least, seemed to be. The only thing betraying him were the stitches all over him, that and the bandages.

"Hey buddy, you hungry?" He asked with a good natured grin.

Irisviel

Irisviel returned his smile with one of her own. “Of course, I’ll lead you to one of our guest rooms. “You’re welcome to join us for dinner and stay the night, if you wish.” Sometimes, giving too much information isn't helpful, Toe. And maybe you shouldn't be listening in on my personal thoughts. She returned at Towuh.

Sakura

Sakura blinked in confusion. Zouken's room...? The basement? Why would I have her sleep in the basement?

Sakura frowned at Rin's description of Rider's inappropriate conduct, tightening her grip on Rin's hand in return to reassure her. "It won't happen again, Nee-san. I promise."

"...But, um, why would you be sleeping downstairs in the basement? That's the only room I could possibly qualify as my grandfather's. Don't worry, I'll figure it out. I'll make up a guest bedroom for you. Or something." Sakura smiled at Rin. "Everything will be alright."

Seras

Seras raised an eyebrow at the man, seemingly embarrassed by the little revelation she'd dropped on him, though whether it was because of the trouble he'd caused just now or for some other reason she couldn't exactly tell.

Fortunately, she didn't really have to.

Just then, a pair of officers burst in, quickly apprehending Seras, who honestly wasn't surprised.

Well, of course this would happen after that entrance. Ah well.

"That might have to wait until later," Seras called out as she was led out.

Sakagami Kenzo

"Eh? Where are you going?" Kenzo asked, looking down and trying to hide his disappointment. He thought he would've finally found a buddy he could cook something to, but she was already leaving.

No, she probably had somewhere important to go to to do something important. He couldn't force her to stay. But at least he could encourage his new friend. Before the strange men could take her away, he laid his hand on her shoulder and spoke.

"Um, my name is Kenzo. Sakagami Kenzo. Anyhow, well, good luck pal! It was nice to meet you, let's hang out!"

Then he let go and backed away timidly, waving goodbye.

Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw nodded simply, indicating that he understood. Well, it wasn't really something he could turn on or off, so she'd have to live with it. Looking at her, solemn blue eyes stared right into her crimson ones.

More importantly, you can fix my friend. Right? Please, I'm counting on you.

Suddenly, something, or rather someone, caught the attention of his eyes. Immediately, his face turned into a bright smile. Without even wasting a breath, he ran towards the purple-head he loved so much and hugged her tightly, kissing her cheeks affectionally with toothy smiles and love.

"Sakuraaaaa! I missed you so so much! You can't believe how happy I am to see you, my favourite bestest friend in the whole wide world!" He said cheerfully, snuggling her as if she was a teddy bear. There was no lie or deception in his actions, Tohuw Balagan was acting purely on love. It was actually pretty sweet.

Then, he looked up on her face and gave her an oddly charming look, droopy puppy eyes included. His hug tightened and he burrowed is face  on her shoulder, trying to mask his genuine dismay.

"I-I'm sorry... I couldn't find Shirou. I'm sure he's alright, but I didn't see him! I, I just had to help her, so I couldn't look for him! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." The demon sniffled, trying to hold back his tears by rubbing his face on Sakura's shirt.

Butler

Were he feeling snappy, Butler would have retorted that he was already doing as he pleased by following her. In this case, however, such was an uncalled for bite. Her unease was plainly written in her actions and words now, and he was loathe to leave his master to mull on difficult feelings on her own. But precisely because it was difficult, she might have had need to deal with it on her own.

And Suiren had commanded, so what kind of servant would he be if he ignored the spirit of her order over the letter?

He lightly bowed his head as she went, disregarding the fact they had no way to track each other. Regardless of how that loss might've shaken her, Suiren was strong. He had seen this, and he trusted her to survive and take care of herself. They could find each other again easily enough given that.

Humming to himself, Butler considered the prospect of free time and took a relaxing, unnecessary breath of fresh air before stepping through space.

Ghost Child

The spirit had apparently finally been roused from its stupor and the grin on its face meant that it was prepared to work immediately. With a gleeful laugh he left the building and returned in a few seconds with dozens of translucent strings attached to his fingers. The spirits of the slaughtered gang members had been simple to enslave and the signs of the Marionette was easily seen with the threads wrapped around their limbs, necks, heads, and torsos.

With a practiced jerk of his fingers that would make any puppetmaster proud the spirits of the recent dead moved towards every part of the building without complaint and with another twitch of his hands they all possessed it at once. The wall, the ceiling, and even the floor were filled with the trapped spirits and down to its very foundations the building shook as it was haunted. With a great flourish every light in the place exploded in a furious shower of glass and the building itself began to tremble as the enslaved spirits wailed in hatred at their predicament. The walls and floor and roof cracked and pieces began to fall off as the childish spirit began to orchestrate a haunting focused on sheer destruction.

Roxas

Roxas panicked as he made his final exhale.  His heart was racing, his mind going a mile a minute, trying desperately to find a solution to the problem.  He vision began to blur as his body shut down from lack of oxygen.  Almost on cue, the priest turned around and spread his arms out, as if giving a speech.

“Rejoice, boy, for on this day, you will be joined with God.”  He said calmly, obviously not concerned with the lack of air.

Just then, something grabbed him and threw him into the ground; no, the shadows themselves.  His vision now returning to normal, Roxas took a look at his surroundings.  He was in a dark realm of some sort.  In front of him was a man around the same age as him dressed in armor.  He was hurt pretty badly, bleeding in the torso and spine area.  That person had saved his life.

Roxas rushed over to the armored teen, inspecting his wounds.  Whatever stuck him punctured his lungs as well as his spine.  Not wasting anytime, Roxas thrust oathkeeper into the air, pointing it at the dark sky.

"Heal!"  He prayed.

The tip of his keyblade glowed a bright green and a magic aura surrounded them, healing the teens wounds.  Hopefully he would be alright.

Rikuyo

The black mud receded, her attacks wasted on trying to destroy it. She was increasingly frustrated about the situation. This was really such big deal that everyone in the city had to be warned? The few stragglers they faced were nothing worth a mention. And now this enemy just evaded them instead of facing them in any way. "Man, why the heck we even stopped pursuing that Forest woman? She might have been fun than this..." she moaned in disappointed manner.

When the Ghost Child gathered spirits of the departed for his own fun and games, her sense for things spiritual got tripped. She couldn't tell what exactly was going on, but she felt it was something more potent than some wandering ghosts. And it happened in the building close to her, which began to collapse. "Yikes, I'm sure it's not my fault! But it would be cool if my attack made a building go boom, ya know. Ricchie, let's retreat for now, I will face whoever comes out of the rubble. If they have guts."

Mordred

"I'm sure a poison that kills brain cells ain't a medicine. Get yourself together and stop drinking. Are you alcoholic or something?" She would trade all riches of this world for something responsible accompanying her. Sure that police officer she met yesterday was just a normal guy, but she would feel safer with someone reliable covering her back, even without special gifts. Plus he wasn't a bad looking fellow. She definitely had to pay him a visit tomorrow, repay him that favor.

Emily

"Well, alcohol can do quite well to numb pain, both emotional and physical,"  Emily said, deciding that the floor, though carpeted, wasn't quite as comfortable as the bed, "But I suppose there are pharmaceuticals that do the job better."

"As for my being an...alco-" Emily hiccuped, trying to pull herself back up to the bed, "-alcoholic, no, I'm not. It's just not every day that you stumble through a Hedge Gate in a place where there wasn't supposed to be one. It's also not everyday that you happen across a Summer Courtier who tells you that you're stuck in some alternate dimension, proceed to get attacked by some bitch who seems like she's part of an organization that's actively looking for us, and end up worrying that I've lost the only fellow Changeling that I've met here for a good while before they pop out of a Hedge gate with broken ribs."

"So, in summary," Emily said, finally managing to pull herself back up onto the bed, "This was just one of those times when I really needed a drink. Well, that and I got a little impatient waiting for you," she allowed a drunken giggle, "Though apparently you don't drink anyway, so...yeah. Just wanted to make you feel a bit better, considering that you've probably gone through worse before I got here, but..."

At this point, Emily turned over onto her side, looking at Mordred with half-closed eyes.

"Ah well, I suppose we should just sleep now..." the Changeling finished with a yawn.

Mordred

"Nah, I'll do a guard duty for a while." Mordred mumbled, convinced she shouldn't go to sleep when the girl was still awake and drunk. Getting some fresh air would call her nerves. She prepared her spear, even if it was rather oblivious to go around with it. She had to think of ways to make it less unwieldy. Maybe attaching the tip to a gun like a makeshift bayonet? Maybe an insult to its ancestry, but she didn't give a damn about it. Still annoyed by Emily's behavior, she stepped out of the building, wary of anyone who could have hostile intentions.

Saber

"Well, if our attention was needed, then it is quite obvious that something was amiss," Saber said with a sigh and a shake of her head.  She looked at the rest of them and said, "The wisest course would to come to an agreement about how these creatures need to be policed and contained."

Sewage Worker

Even with his face covered the senior sewer worker managed to look annoyed. "Your attention wasn't needed! You came here to find some random creature and managed to piss off some other monsters and managed to get into a restricted area that is restricted because of the abundance of monsters. And these creatures have been contained. You don't see them bursting out of the ground on the surface, do you? We aren't perfect but you don't see sewer workers up on the top telling the police force how to do its job every time some criminal gets in here!"

He massaged his head with one hand and sighed. "Can I talk to anyone other than this bitch? She's giving me a headache and I haven't even started clearing the tunnels."
