Gabriel
Gabriel emerged from he bathroom, toweling his hair off as he walked forward. He watched the conversation between Emily and her roommate. And it doesn't look like it's going well, Gabriel thought to himself as he watched.
Once it was over and Emily laid against the headboard, looking miserable.
Wordlessly, he crossed the rest of the distance to the bed and sat behind her. He reached out and started to stroke her hair.
Forest
Bloody hell, even sitting down he's right about eyelevel, Forest thought as she clinched and opened her fists. Swallowing, with him sitting down she realized she couldn't get behind him. Which was going to make this feeding very interesting.
He held eye contact with her and she realized how gorgeous his eyes were before he politely looked away.
"Thank you," she said in a soft voice before moving towards Gadreel. His shoulders under her palms were warm and despite his earlier complaints about his lack of hygiene, he smelled real. Wholly alive. Vital. Strong.
She felt her fangs start to lengthen at the sight of the pulse at his throat. She bent forward, her own hair brushing against him, and moved to sink her fangs into Gadreel's throat. Only to find that they didn't go in easily like they would normally with anyone human-ish.
A little, surprised sound was muffled by his throat before she reared back, mentally apologized to him, and then struck forward with her supernatural strength, biting hard. Her head swam at the first swallow of sweet, rich warmth. The dullness that had been building within her was almost instantly washed away by the second pull. By the third she felt her toes curling in her boots as she gripped shoulders.
