Annabeth
The Hunter found herself sent flying past thanks to her own momentum, reloading Elephant Gun as a matter of course, but she caught a glimpse of the spirit reforming itself soon afterwards.
Wait what? ...fuck, I really should've seen that coming from something literally made of aura.
Unsure of how she would land, the Hunter went into Ken, her aura shielding her whole body as she waited for the inevitable impact. It wasn't long in coming, Annabeth crashing into a tree with enough force that she could hear the wood groaning under the impact. Allowing a groan at the pain of the impact, Annabeth caught herself on the way down on a tree branch, frowning as she saw Ron manage to slow the thing down for a bit, tearing another hole in it before it managed to escape, continuing to chase her.
For the first time in a fair bit, the Hunter found herself starting to grow a little irritated with their prey. Of course, then Riku had to chip in too. Annabeth clenched a fist, though whether in preparation for her prey or out of frustration she wasn't sure, gritting her teeth as she pulled out the Bowie Knife with her other hand.
And now this bitch thinks I'm an Emitter or something. ...then again, it probably works differently wherever she's from...
For possibly the third time today, Annabeth found herself really wishing she could fire Elephant Gun more than once without reloading. Maybe if she had a full magazine, she could've blasted that thing more, maybe enough to get it to stay down.
With a moment's thought, the Hunter extended her aura onto her knife, covering the weapon with it as if it were merely another part of her body, focusing her remaining aura on her other fist in the meanwhile. She waited for the spirit to make its approach before lunging in to take a violent swing at it telegraphing it enough that there was no way the spirit couldn't dodge...right into her Gyo-enhanced fist.
