Tar

Sliding into the back seats of the patrol car, Henry pulled his door closed. He took a moment to look at the girl sitting besides him as he put his seatbelt on. If he were being honest, her presence had likely been their saving grace down in the sewers. A saving grace that would not have been necessary had he not miscalculated Saber and Lancelot's initiative and methods, but a saving grace notheless.

It unnerved him to admit it, but she didn't seem to be an angel. His brute use of aehter would have been noticed. Perhaps she was only biding her time to eliminate him later, but if that were the case, why would she have healed him? His wellbeing had no further influence on their state out of the sewer and not fighting for their lives, and she had no suspicion to draw to her given his and by extension the force's lack of knowledge of her healing abilities. Nothing else she had shown until that point indicated she also possessed such an inclination. The hypothesis wasn't coherent. Her brand of phenomena operation didn't look or feel - through his aether sense or experience - like any sort of restoration the God-Machine could easily exercise, but that type of difference was one of the first things he learned how to suspect. So long as there was in some imagined possibility a chance things could appear a certain way, it was necessary to take it into account.

He had been neglecting this method of thought, the demon thought. The chaotic patterns and ridiculous mood of Nexus City were getting to him.

Henry was shaken out of his thoughts by the car's ignition and the driver's warning to hold on. His mind grew cloudy with something he couldn't quite place at that, but neither because of the policewoman's words or herself. It was because of what he and Noel had been told not a minute ago. Namely, that there had been a disaster at the precinct that had caused a number of fatalities and caused impossible to measure destruction there.

Why did this have to happen now? Was it a coincidence? Was it related to something they were investigating, had a monster entered the Nexus, had there been a legitimate accident (which very rarely were actually accidents even if they were legimate)? He didn't know, but he was concerned, and exasperated, and angry. He mostly worried about showing the last one on his face and body, strung up tension leaving him rigid. He was much too incensed to concern himself with showing more than that at the time.

The unchained in the identity of the detective temporarily forced those worries down to inquire something at Noel. If he didn't ask her now, he might not get another chance in the near future, "Vermillion, are you -"

His question was interrupted by a flash of bright light outside. Wary, he looked outside through the window. What he saw should have made his blood chill, but he was beyond that.

All expression fell from his face as he stared at the ascending spectacle of multiple white suns lighting up in the Nexus, and internally startled from the uncomfortable sting he suddenly felt.

Sakura Matou

Sakura pointed at a large sign labeled cosmetics. “They’re that way.” Sakura said, leading her sister towards it. Once they arrived there, Sakura turned and asked Rin the most important question. “So what colours do you like?”

Rin

"Nudes are nice, I like a good smokey eye," Rin said, "I have to be careful though.  If I go too dark or too red, I come off looking like a vampire because of black hair and fair skin."

"Not to mention I wear a lot of red and black, so I shouldn't really wear red makeup because it would be overwhelming."

Lone Wanderer:

"Miss, I just woke up here myself," He said to the would-be Transylvanian.

When Shinobu hugged Victoria, two things happened at roughly the same time: Victoria did not take a liking to the hug, and somehow did an electric shock (All that could go through his brain was that she was a psyker, like how AntAgonist and Calvert was, just flashier), and moments later Tenma started having seizures. "Jesus Christ!" He exclaimed while trying (and failing) to catch her as she collapsed.

The brunette was drooling and speaking binary for some reason, but Jeremy didn't catch what the first few digits. Damn it, he didn't have anything that could help with seizures; all he can do was first aid his father taught him: He removed her glasses, loosened the yellow fabric around her upper chest, and gently laid her to one side, hands keeping her from rolling back over. The snow must be cold as Hell, but it's not like he had something to lay her on.

Shinobu

As the electrical current tore through her body Shinobu instinctively performed a mighty leap backwards landing in a crouching position more than 10 meters away, whatever damage had been caused by the shock was already healed by the time she landed. Then In a bright flash, clothes materialised on her body. It was a pink top over a black dress that ended half way down her thighs, her legs covered by stockings.

The electrical discharge however had not merely affected her, the scientist girl had fallen over after clutching her head and was reciting what seemed to be a random number string of 1's and 0's. This did not go unnoticed by Shinobu.

And she growled, fangs bared. Still in a crouching position her legs were visibly trembling from immense tension , then like a cord snapping the tension was released and Shinobu shot forward at unbelievable speed, her fist heading straight for the loli's face

Noel

She was sitting on a stump in a quaint little clearing set in the middle of a large, welcoming forest. The sky was blue, the sun high in the sky, and the grass couldn’t possibly get any greener. A small crystal clear pond sat in the middle of it, the sunlight sparkling through the water making it glimmer with unsurpassed brilliance. The sounds of the forest peacefully serenaded her, singing their simple but majestic songs. The frogs were croaking, the songbirds call out to each other, and the crickets cricketed.

And then, a doe and her fawn slowly walked up to the pond, preparing to quench the thirst of a hot day. Noel watched them silently with a smile, sitting still as to not disturb them. But then, they noticed her! The mother looked up quickly at Noel, eyeing her carefully before she cautiously led her fawn to Noel. She giggled as they sniffed at her, making small, friendly cooing noises at them. Finally, the baby bravely walked up to Noel, rubbing its head against her arm, asking to be pet.

“Hello there—” She began to say to the fawn, reaching to scratch its head.

And then she was startled awake by Henry, who was asking her a question. “Wha!? Yes, of course!” She began to make excuses, but then noticed he’d stopped midsentence. She looked curiously out the window of the car to see what he was staring at, and was shocked at what she saw.

The sky was white. Pure white, with several suns of the same colour floating high in the sky. This shouldn't be here. She thought. It had a similar feeling to...The Azure. But it felt somehow...incomplete. It was completely unnatural for it to be there! I have to find out why!
“We need to stop the car!” She ordered the driver. “I need to get out!”

Victoria Ashworth

It seemed that the electrical impulse I released had unintended side effects. For one, the brunette collapsed to the ground, spouting binary. If I had time, I would have tried to make out what she was saying as well as see if I could fix it, however there was a more pressing issue on the horizon. The blonde vampire didn't seem to take kindly to my warning, and flipped back quickly, landing on the ground a few meters away before looking at the convulsing girl, who was now being helped up by the man in the armor. I began to pull out the mirror fragment I kept on me for times like this, however before I could pull it out, she vanished and I felt an immense pain in my jaw as it fractured under the stress of a fist to the face. I immediately went flying, and as I did, my vampiric blood went to work, healing the wound while I was still in mid air, and as I did so, I finished pulling out the mirror, and pointing it at myself, I willed it to be and I was no longer corporeal. So that I would not go crashign through the ground, I exerted more of my magic and activated my ability to fly, stopping in mid air before floating down to the ground peacefully.

Now that I was on the ground, I rubbed my jaw and looked back to the girl who was convulsing on the ground. It seemed that she was weak to electric pulses, and that combined with the binary she was spewing, implied that she had some sort of tech in her that my electricity had managed to damage. Focusing on her, I used my thaumaturgy to analyze her condition, and found that she would be fine, as the damage was not extensive enough that it could kill her, though I was not familiar enough with its workings to be able to fix it with my technomancy.

With that determined, I looked back to the blonde haired woman and said, "You are quite a violent one, aren't you. It seems you have focused most of your vampiric abilities into speed, seeing as I could not even see you when you moved full out. It is nice to see that you are wearing clothes now, however," I said, making note of the fact that she had materialized clothes. It seemed she knew a bit of basic thaumaturgy, at least. Perhaps this world's, or perhaps her world's if she was in the same situation as me, vampires were quite different from the Kindred of mine. "You seemed to be concerned about the brunette human over there," I said, gesturing at the brunette convulsing on the ground, "I can assure you that her life is in no danger, I used a bit of my Thaumaturgy to determine that her machinery was indeed damaged a bit, however it is nothing life threatening, just extremely painful."

With that said, I simply waited to see if the girl would attempt to attack me again, though this time it would pass harmlessly through me, as I have become incorporeal thanks to the ritual I performed.

Emily

Emily remained still for all of a few minutes, slowly cooling in the winter night, before finally drifting awake once more. Looking around drunkenly, the Changeling took a few moments to get her bearings before noticing the little girl close by. Surprise forced the Changeling to withdraw before that familiar pounding seized her head once more, causing her to groan as she gripped her head with one hand. As the moments passed, recognition filtered through to the Changeling as she remembered who this little girl was.

"...Thanks," Emily managed to get out, trying to get back to her feet, "...Say, do you...do you have...a place to...to stay? If...you don't...I'm sure I could help you out there."

Sakagami Kenzo

"Pleeeeeeeeease?" He begged with mewling puppy eyes. This was greater than any charm or curse, none could resist this face. To do so would be absolutely despicable.

Vanguard

Amazing, simply amazing. Vanguard had no such expectation, he had no idea that girl could harness the power of flight. And that arm...

Yes, he could feel power emanating from the shadows. Surely this piece would be valuable, very valuable.

Vanguard was again thrown backwards by the momentum, looking up with admiration at the girl who had bested him with such a manoeuvre. But this was no time to celebrate. His body was going to crash against the fountain. However-

A terrified child. Perhaps a coincidence, perhaps simply bad luck. The colossal armour was about to fall on him, most likely crushing him to death. He would not have it. Turning towards the youngling, he swung his arm at him. The child flinched, utterly terrified. Instantly, a mirror-like barrier of light formed with strange inscriptions covered the boy. A powerful barrier, one that shielded him from the hulking armour effortlessly.

Ripples were cast on the shield, as if it was made of water, and Vanguard bounced forward lightly, landing gracefully in the fountain with a splash. "Uh...uh...UAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" The boy cried with a voice that indicated a devartated butt soiled with shit, running as fast as he could away from the scene.

Vanguard, on the other hand, sighed calmly. At least it was all taken care of. Now, about Seras...

Turning towards her, he clapped before stepping off the fountain.

"Magnificent, Seras. Simply magnificent. There is no mistake, you are as strong as I thought. No, perhaps stronger."

Sighing, he bowed respectfully, kneeling before the flying girl.

"It looks like once again, I couldn't win. Damn, I really wanted to win too. Very well, victory is yours. You are hired."

Rin grinned and said, "Pink of course.  However if you got daring you could try some teal eye shadow . . .Or Gold or a warmer green."

Rin

"Right!" Rin pumped her fist before heading to the cosmetic counter and slowing.  You know, I've never bought any makeup this extravagant.  I mean, look at these prices.  And if Sakura found out I generally buy the mid-range pharmacy brand at home she'd insist on buying the whole damned thing.  Uggg, what should I do?

Rin bit her lip as she looked at eye shadow palettes by a brand called Urban Decay.  They had several series called The Nudes and she liked the color arrangements of all of them.

It's not like Sakura's hurting for money, and if her doting on me makes her happy, then why should I judge?  Besides, these are really nice . . .

Sakura

Sakura followed Rin around, carefully keeping an eye on her. She wanted to be super sure she got what she wanted. Anything was worth it to make her sister feel more comfortable in this strange new place. As soon as she noticed her sister eyeing a set, she wrapped her arms around her and stood on her toes to look over her shoulder. "Do you want it? I normally don't buy stuff this expensive, but for you it's a pleasure!" Sakura said playfully.

This Mordred was still talking to her.  The brash girl had something she waned to say to Saber, but Saber knew if Lancelot woke up and saw "Mordred", even though her bearing and mien were completely different than the Mordred that shared Saber's blood, it would not go well.  Considering the episode in the sewers, she knew her friend's sanity at the moment was in tatters.

It would take little for him to go into a frenzy.

She faced this girl who looked like her and said, "Could you spare a few moments?  I need to make sure my friend is taken care of, and if he saw you it would not go well."

If she did indeed fought Lancelot earlier, she would know how mighty he is in battle, and how dangerous he is when he lets his rage take over.

Mordred

Of course, Mordred had no clue this man was the one who assaulted her back then. She saw him in much different circumstances after all. But if Saber insisted, she could wait for her for a while. "No problem, I will be here" she nodded, leaning back against the tree with crossed arms. This situation was still surreal for her. If Saber looked her age, they would look even more like identical twins. Mordred found her a bit too stiff, but she was kinda relieved at least their personalities differed.

Noriko

She soon realized though something was off about the sky. It's color white, several suns seemed to adorn the sky. An alien planet or something fishy was going? Screw the shopping spree, she had to learn why this fucking sky was so abnormal. Before she decided what she would do, one of the cars on the street stopped abruptly.

Gintoki

His sleep was interrupted by the flash of white light. Still groggy, and not in the best mood, he walked up to the window only to see a white sky with several white colored suns floating. He looked at the clock in his room, and if it was functioning well, it still should have been a night. "Man, to spoil such beautiful night sky. I feel sorry for those who gathered for moon gazing."

If someone was behind that, he had to know. There couldn't be a day without night, and turning the night into day so prematurely was against the natural order of things. He swore to himself silently that the moon would rise again over the city, picking up his sword. His country was where it reached, and he wouldn't anyone tarnish the sky like that.

Rikuyo
Quote
KOTOMINE KIREI

Something sharp and black exploded from zombie-Richard’s midsection, spraying Riku with lukewarm blood. Then it pulled away just as suddenly as it had appeared, leaving the corpse to flop to the ground with a large hole in its chest. Behind the show of sudden violence, standing atop the pile of rubble, a man in long blue robes with shoulder length dark hair stood tall, gazing down on the few remaining interlopers with hateful brown eyes.

Kotomine Kirei hopped from his perch to the ground with ease, the earth caving beneath his feet just slightly as he landed with a thud. He did not even bother with speech as a dozen black tentacles, swaying and wiggling in a mad dance as their master eyed the three people in front of him. What he saw was hardly enough to make up for what he had already lost.

Still, they would do, for the moment.

As one, all the tentacles came down on the same target: The redhaired woman, apparently intending to take the group apart one at a time.

Rikuyo

Unforgivable. Another bastard defiled Richard's body. Why. Why they couldn't leave him in peace. He fought so hard, he did his best. They will pay.

Such thoughts filled her enraged mind as the robed man put down the moving corpse of Richard. Before she herself could stop the body of her late companion. Whoever was this tall man, she wouldn't forgive him for interfering. He could even be the one behind this.

As the tentacles came down on her, she attempted to evade them before they could stab her body.
