Relius Clover

"Amachi Noriko huh?  What a lovely name."  Relius said politely. "If you could be so kind as to gather any fragment of technology you can find?  I don't care how you get it, nor do I care where you got it from.  All I desire is technology.  I will reverse engineer any tech you find and use it to create or supplement the lab.  Can you do that?"  He finished, his tone was soft and polite, as if asking a child to go do chores.

"Alphon-SI-NOES! And I'm not a girl, I'm a lady!" She said, puffing up her cheeks and crossing her arms. "Though... I don't think this is a dream either. I'm all wet, and dreams don't make a lady feel wet! But, I don't know who'd bring me here either...?"

She made a difficult look on her face as she entered deep thought.

Kenzo chuckled before chopping more vegetables for the salad, making sure to put the meat in the oven, pan and stew.

"Then I guess you're as lost as me. Welcome to Nexus City."

After a while, the food was finally complete. Ready. Finished. Mountains of plates rose high up on a platter, a quantity of food unlike anything he'd ever seen. Little did everyone know, those were the last rations of food left. All of it was normally meant to last a month or two, but he used it all to cook this feast for everyone. Desperate times would call for desperate measures, but for now he wanted everyone to be as satisfied as possible.

"Oi, care to help me carry this?" He asked, holding one side of the gargantuan platter.

Noriko

Oh, delightful. Running errands. An essential part of every 'apprentice's life. She had to deal with back when she was a junior apprentice and her memories of that period were still fresh. Nothing she could do about it. So without further ado, she nodded in agreement: "I got it. I have a plan."

She departed, and after few hours she came back, driving a bicycle which pulled a cart stuffed with boxes containing whatever she got from Sleepers using her powers of suggestion. Her excuse of collecting equipment for a charity, backed with her arcane powers, did wonders. She collected used PCs, cellphones, radios, second hand stuff which worked. "I'm back, Mr. Clover. It's not anything released recently, but I did my best and everything here should work. And I don't think I brought any attention to me." She reported.

Noel

Noel felt like she was trapped in a sitcom. “You--can you just stop being so formal? Just call me Noel, please. You’re being too formal...”

Forest

"My favorite I guess are monkeys. They are like humans, but they are not same. I guess I feel kinship with them. I'm a human, but I'm kinda not a one, just like them. And I can become a monkey too, wanna see?" said, Rikuyo, sprouting a fur covered monkey tail. "It's a special service. Normally I don't bother with doing like that when I don't fight anybody strong, but this water lets me waste my energy without worry."

"So you can shapeshift?" Forest asked, sitting up and peering at the girl with wide eyes.  She looked at the fur covered tail and started to reach for it, but pulled her hand back.  Even though her hands weren't currently cold due to the hot springs, she didn't know how Rikuyo would react with Forest petting her tail.

"Can you turn into anything else, or just a monkey?"

And then that damnable white light vanished, like it was shattered or what not.  Forest relaxed with a sigh until she noticed the sky lightening with an all too real sun.  "Fuck!"   She started to stand up and gave Rikuyo a pained look.  "I . . . need to get inside.  The sunlight isn't really of the good for me at all."

Shirou

Shirou stared at the box before taking it, a bit of a smirk gracing his features.  "I don't know, I didn't pick it out . . ."  He opened the box and stared at the pink gem before him.  Pink and blue, her favorite color and his favorite color.

"Tohsaka picked this out, didn't she?" he said with a shake of his head before dropping down on one knee.  Had he'd been shopping at his home dimension, he would have asked his future sister-in-law for help as well.

"So, Sakura, would you honor me with being my wife?" he asked, holding the ring up to her.

Erica

There was a short period of silence as Erica internally debated how to proceed from here. The use of the full name had gone poorly and being as subservient as with the Prophets was showing to be rather improper. She required something more amiable than her current behavior. Perhaps something observed before? The Spirit Vessel raised her head to look right at the blonde and her arms relaxed before she started speaking. "Oh. Okay, Noel. Then would you like to get something to eat with me? I can carry your friend. It wouldn't be an issue."

Her hands twitched even as she tried to keep them relaxed and her nervousness was almost clear to see. Nonetheless she managed to put a small smile on her face. It wasn't very confident or easy but it was there regardless.

Rikuyo

"I can turn into so many things that there's not enough fingers to count them all. I leave all shifters in dust!" She bragged. Indeed, she prided on herself being jack of all trades in that field. "I can show ya more... Uh, what's the matter?" She titled her head as Forest prepared to leave the hot-springs. She was really confused at first, but even such not brightest person like her understood quickly, even if she didn't knew why. "The sun? Alrighty, I will help ya!" Riku attempted to grab Forest and get her to the shop. Without bothering about the lack of clothes. She was faster than normally, being agile and quick enough that bullets and arrows were nothing difficult to just dodge.

Noel Vermillion

Noel blinked once, twice, then again at the girl’s display of awkwardness before smiling back at Erica, returning her odd gesture of warmth with one of her own, completely genuine. “Um, yeah, I could get something to eat right now. I can carry Ragna though, I’m stronger than I look. Do you have anywhere in particular in mind?”

Erica

The smile on Erica's face slowly relaxed and while it would never be wide it was certainly pleasant. Her hands slowly stopped shaking and a bit of brightness returned to her blue eyes as the script circling her pupil flared once. While part of her was slightly bothered by Noel having to do anything she quickly considered that if it was something that Noel wanted that it was fine.

"There is a new buffet place a short distance south from here. The last one I went to closed down but I checked to make sure this one was still open and I paid in advance. I don't recall how much it was, but I'm sure it was enough for all of us!" There was a note of panic as she finished speaking which was only exemplified by the raised volume. She was filled with doubt the moment the words escaped her lips. What if Noel didn't like buffets? What if she didn't like the food at the buffet? Maybe she should have picked a more notable place? Despite these thoughts Erica just managed to conceal them behind a placid look. It would be wrong to make Noel uncomfortable through her own worry.

Shinobu

The vampire followed Gintoki's line of sight and noticed that a fake sun was gone. She also saw that the real sun was rising, amusingly it seemed like the light from it bothered her less than the fake ones.

"Oi, what you are doing." she heard him say as she turned her face back towards him. She moved around a bit to make it more comfortable before she relaxed and spoke.

"I...I just wanted to let you have taste of these delicious donuts, I noticed they were of rather high quality when I examined them earlier. and well I might have overreacted earlier, so will you please accept this" she said while holding the donut infront of her and leaning a bit closer.

"Okay, okay, if you want to apologize, then I cannot do anything about it." This looked awkward. To bystanders they probably looked like people dating or something like this. But if she was honest in her apology, he had no choice. So he accepted the donut, and took it, stuffing his mouth with it. "Not bad.", he muttered.

Urthemiel

The cool feel of healing magic quickly knit the Old God's skin back together and special attention was done to make sure it left not even the slightest trace. She smiled at the shift in song. The sudden increase in volume of the dragon that sang in Mordred's veins. This was because of her. She had enhanced this girl and made her someone worth having.

There was no urgency in Urthemiel's movement and she took her time getting to Mordred before leaning in and allowing her lips to just barely brush against the Changeling's own. A teasing gesture but not much else. "I assume your change feels satisfactory, Mordred? If so, it would be kind of you to provide a place to rest for the night. This night has been taxing and I feel we could both use some time to recuperate."

Mordred

The change made Mordred less human in form, but didn't anything about her human emotions. So she couldn't help but blush when the dragon in human form teased her like that, the color of her face becoming for a while closer to color of her scales. "Uh, I guess so, but I don't know if a room in a cheap motel is to your liking, and my roommate might be back by now. So please bear with her, she's my colleague."

Nexus city? She gave it a long hard thought, but came up with nothing just in time to hear his request.

She thought of carrying alone, and she could! but that would make it likelier for one of the plates to fall of and make a big accident, yes. She wouldn't let such a thing happen! Again.

She went to grab the other side of the platter, with a proud puff.

"Supply operations are my forte, you'll see!" she said, preparing to march on his command.

Urthemiel

The stunningly beautiful woman nodded graciously and took one of Mordred's arms with her own. Together they exemplified all the traits of a dragon. Power, confidence, pride, regalness, and beauty were all on display. When Urthemiel began to speak it almost seemed as if the seductive quality of her voice had increased. An almost melodious tone that enraptured the senses.

"There is no need to worry, Mordred. You more than make up for any inadequacies of a room, and unless your roommate proves to be aggressive there should be no problems. We should get to know more about each other when we get there. This city is a bit too open for it at the moment but it would be wise to learn more about each other. I'm sure you would be much more comfortable if we shared a little bit."

Ghost Child

The free spirit had floated around aimlessly after leaving the grandpa behind. He had crashed another car into a building once the fake suns vanished but was otherwise as calm and giddy as he was at the beginning of the night. It was only after a few minutes that he wandered away from the area where the suns were once shining over floated through the walls of a building into a kitchen.

Eyeless sockets instantly recognized the tall red haired man but his childish focus was not on the man's companion but the tower of plates she was holding. His features trembled with childish delight as he used a portion of his Essence to push the very top plate off the pile.

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo's eyes lit up. "Okay!" He said, taking hold of one side and letting her take the other. She said she could take care of it, so he trusted her on instinct and damn, he couldn't help but be impressed himself. Girl was strong, as expected from a fellow destroyer.

And then, he saw the two he left outside, running around. Naked. A moment, an instant of distraction was enough for him not to notice. If only he paid attention, he could've saved it all...

No.

Despair filled his face, and with a roar of grief and pain, he tried to salvage it. He failed! As the plates fell and crashed to the ground.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

His feast, months of savings, his hard earned feast... ruined. The poor demon was now lying like a poor puppet in the middle of broken plates and spilled food.

"I..I.."

And he just sat there, dumbfounded in a trance, a near catatonic state.

Lone Wanderer:

He might have only known Tenma for a few hours, but Jeremy can tell that there was something definitely wrong with the woman. There are times when someone should not be left alone; Lord knows he's been down that road before.

"You know," He began, picking up his helmet "I think I'll join ya."

The wanderer turned to the two flirting - yes, flirting - others, "We'll be back shortly."

And, so, Jeremy followed Tenma out the door. Damn this altruism - It's what is gonna kill him, he just knows it...

Mordred

"She should be fine, as long as she doesn't drink. Though I should really phone her, I will be more at ease if she's now in a company of right people." Mordred sighed. As long as Emily wasn't bar crawling or dealing with shady people, Mordred was willing to let her roam around the city. She had near foolproof methods of escape, and thus could handle herself. With her free hand she reached for a phone. "If you don't mind, I will contact her. Just to check up on her."
