Archer

Amanda was chiding Archer about this sudden role reversal when he smelled the snap of prana in the air.  He started to reinforce himself as well, wondering if Amanda studied martial arts like quite a few modern mages.  His hand to hand was serviceable, not any thing flashy and relied on dirty tricks to get the job done.

I really don't want this to turn . . .

Archer's thought cut off as his world erupted into white hot agony between his legs.  His vision swam, his stomach knotted, and he tasted bile at the back of his throat as all of his nerves fired at once.  He stumbled back as he resisted the urge to both gag and cradle the very sensitive and assaulted part of his anatomy.

"Lesson . . . learned," he managed to cough as he moved away from her and her overly aggressive kneecaps.

Jackie and Jill

"Ack!" Jackie yelped, trying to rip off the invisible force with her hands.  It was a futile effort and the girl was tossed into a wall.  Meanwhile, a hail of bolt like energy came down from the roof, only to be intercepted by several bolts of yellow light.  The two energies collided in an explosion of red and yellow.  Realizing she cannot close the distance without being creative, Jackie struck the wall with a swift backfist, shattering the wall.

Spotting the shadow, Jill leaped back up on top of the trashcan, pointing her finger at Thea with a smile.  A rocket seemed to spawn from her finger, flying at the psychic girl with the intent to kill.

Suerte

Suerte was still panting from the treatment earlier.  Sweat dripped from her worn out body, her eyelids struggling to stay open.  She was surprised she still wanted to go for another round, especially after she told her that she didn't want to spend any more money this time.  Although, it did make this next part a lot easier.  "Can I ask you about your boss?  What is she like?  Like, do you like your job here?"

She knew it was probably not the best place to ask a question like this.  If there were cameras, or any sort of tapping she could get in trouble.  But it was less about what she said and how she said it.

Vanilla

"Hmmmm~" Vanilla scratched the bottom of the girl's chin and nibbled on her ear. "Why are you interested in that sort of information? My boss is a truly wonderful person, and I love her to bits."

Lulu

"Yes that's the place...." Teh foot massage was going over very well, the angel squirmed on his shoulders, brought on by both his touch as well as his words.

"Your greed pleases me to no end mortal. No, Noah." Her body emanated the holy essence, enveloping the human below her in the gentle embrace. It was comforting, no merely calling it comforting would be underselling it. It was more relaxing than the greatest of hot baths, a feeling of home.

"Give unto me all your greed. I, the dragon of revelation will embrace all your desires all your sins. Bring them unto me. Love me, as I love you Noah."

Suerte

Suerte wasn't sure if that was a genuine statement, mostly because there may be cultural differences that separated her non verbal cues from regular humans.  Still, she couldn't help but hum with delight as her chin was scratched and ear nibbled.  Stroking Vanilla's hair, she said, "I worked as a bounty hunter where I came from, mostly to keep myself occupied.  But I don't know if I want to do it again with the way this cities power structure is.  That is why I want to know.  What is justice to your boss?"

Spotting the shadow, Jill leaped back up on top of the trashcan, pointing her finger at Thea with a smile.  A rocket seemed to spawn from her finger, flying at the psychic girl with the intent to kill.

Thea

She got a warning about the finger rocket from the surge of hostile intentions in Jill's surface thoughts, and held her other hand up to deflect the rocket! It took up a lot of Thea's attention to do this though, and so she didn't have time to do that, maintain the hold on Jackie, and retaliate. Of course there was the little matter of the rocket being diverted onto the nearby street and exploding there.

The empress began applying more force to Jackie's throat, cutting off her air supply and yanking her down to her knees on the pavement. It was a gamble to double down on the opponent she already had, but she was willing to trust that Tsumiko would manage the difference.

Liseth

Her fingers came together, tips poking against the other. "So where did you learn how to fight? The way you're talking makes you kinda sound like a gladiator or something." Something resembling intuition but was probably just tiny bits of information pieced together by a city sized mind already told her the answer, but she wanted to know anyways!

Noah

"Mmmm..." Noah groaned as he felt his body overflowing with warmth.  It was a strange feeling, this comfort, one he wasn't sure if he ever truly felt.  The closest thing was at home, surrounded by his family and friends but that could not compare to what was felt at that moment.  Of course, this did not slow down his touch at all, quite the opposite.  His fingers seemed to become more greedy, as if unlocked by the holy light.  His hands slid along her leg, going up until it touched the cloth of her bottoms.

"Of course," he said, looking up at Lulu with a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face.  "Then if your holy mind can withstand the full force of my sin, sign this contract and enter into an eternal partnership with me."

The contract began to glow once more, still overshadowed by the great light of the angel.  "You know what I desire and a few of my conditions.  Speak your terms and it will be written."

Dahlia

So in the end they had essentially stolen the boots since they left enough money for the pair Dahlia walked out in, but not enough to cover the pair Lugh tore apart in his little test. Dahlia honestly didn't care, and she was more interested in setting the cute little wolf boy to work finding something for her to kill. Something challenging, not some random thug.

What they found was a monster that ripped the flesh from the bones of beasts and men, patched them together into nonsensical combinations, and wore them to become some kind of abomination. It took them on a merry chase through the city's alleyways, across the streets, and over the rooftops. Dahlia spent much of her time trying to shoot it knees out so she could beat it to death, when Lugh wasn't making his own attempts to take it down.

The damn thing regenerated, which made it harder.

Auspicious Breeze

"O-Oh, wow. You're... really smart." Her smile got a little nervous, her face a bit red, because Breeze wasn't expecting this Liseth girl to see through her so fast. "Yeah, I grew up a gladiator. Then I wandered the world for a while fighting all kinds of things."

Liseth

Was this some sort of big brain play is attractive kind of thing? Or was the girl just embarrassed? To be honest, Liseth had no idea at all. So she just began to wing it. "Do you mind if I make a few more guesses? I don't want to get too personal or anything, so I want to make sure you're alright with it first."

Lugh

It was a fine hunt, one that Lugh was more than willing to strip for before leaping into the fray. He had already fully changed before he had hit the ground, and the impact crushed the ground to powder before he began to wrestle at tear at the creature. While the bullets didn't really hurt that much they were annoying, so amidst his rabid biting and chewing he did manage the force of will to force it into the line of fire before he went back and ate Dahlia whole!

Auspicious Breeze

"As long as you're okay with me not answering certain things I guess!" Breeze nodded, thinking that was a fair way to deal with things. Her blushing lightened up quickly as she thought to herself, this was a smart compromise.

Lulu

"If I can withstand it? don't make me laugh." Such a cliché line was spoken by her, no matter if it was cliché or not it fit how she was feeling about it and was therefore the right thing to say at the time, cliché or not. And that was the only thing she wanted, the only thing she desired in the world.

"I only have one. That you always stay true to yourself."

Her legs moved apart a bit further, giving him better access to her her things if he so desired.

"That is my only term."

Charlotte

Under other circumstances, Charlotte might have taken the chance to cut loose a bit, maybe have some fun wrapping the monstrosity up in bullet walls before collapsing the cage around it. As things were, however, there was something a bit more interesting to figure out, namely just what sort of baggage the raven-haired beauty was carrying around with her.

The hunt only set her curiosity blazing brighter, the gunslinger not missing Dahlia's attempts to kneecap the thing, even hitting Lugh a few times in her attempts. The blonde opted to hang back for the moment, keeping her guns in their holsters even as she kept an eye out for the creature sending anything her way. Not that that was likely, with how Lugh was happily tearing into it already.
