~Ta ta taaa da dam ta taaaah~ He hummed the kick-ass tune along a little, just chilling and relaxing and minding his own business when all of a sudden he noticed his surroundings got a tad bit brighter. He glanced up to see a trail of fire, puzzlement showing. A shooting star? Didn't catch that every day. Alright, as a wish, he'd make it so that he'd be showered by cute girls every day, feh...
Wait, huh? Why is it getting bigger?
"WHAT THE-" The moment he realized just how fast the comet was growing, he put two and two together. But it was already too late. The comet was no wishing star, but a demonic meteor that destroyed everything in its path. He was only lucky enough not to be in its immediate impact, and he was still thrown away along with all the burning rubble.
Ugh. Ow. Ow ow ow ow. He opened his eyes, hung by a crooked lamp post stuck in a wall with his drink and pizza safely in his hands. Groaning, he descended with the grace of a spider settling down from its net, its emergency net that should've never been used to begin with. Good thing he had set up a plan b to z, quick thinking!
He stared down at the...girl? The girl on fire, who somehow wasn't splattered by a fall like that.
"Did you just... really? Ahh, come on, I opened this yesterday! GOD DAMN IT!!"
He grit his teeth, what the hell, what part of nice quiet time was too hard for to get. Jesus, he'd at least asked for a kiss before fate decided to bend him over and-
"You know what, it's fine. The important stuff is fine, yep, that's all that matters..." He sighed, totally calm and cool over this, despite being covered in soot and definitely feeling it, he could at least appreciate not being a modern artwork like whatever that was.
