Suerte

"Your not from here either?" she asked, smiling at her touch.  She found it hard to believe she was all that strong.  She was so squishy.  Then again, Suerte was a lot stronger than she looked, even physically.  Most men couldn't even beat her in an armwrestling match, let alone a gunfight.  Plus, Vanilla was a sex worker, you had to be strong working in that line of business here, especially when the cops were...

I don't want to think about that, she thought.

Then again, it might be hot to spar with her...

Magical Girl

"So are you saying you don't want any help dealing with the shaman? He's gonna return at this rate, and I don't think you have your protectors anymore, do you?" She'd completely turned her back to Locke, seemingly leaving herself defenseless to his enhanced state. Then she glanced back at Locke with her purple eyes.

"I gave it to you cause you were scared, I'm sorry but I didn't mean to scare you, I promise. I was just kinda testing you before to see how spiritually aware you were, and it's getting more and more clear to me how he's been been pulling the wool over your eyes."

Sakura and Shirou

The two of them smiled at him as he entered the payment into the phone. They saw no need to check up on him, fully trusting that he would pay them the amount they had agreed. When he was finished, though, they moved towards him, and once again pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you", Sakura said, softly. "Would you like our number? It would be nice to keep in touch."

Edelgard

That made sense to her. And since they were in the middle of the city, it would be easier to just go over the skyline of in one go. "Understood," Edelgard declared, nodding.

With another sudden movement, Sakura found herself picked up in the Forsaken's arms, with the sound of metal sliding against leather near her ears. The warrior slid a foot back, flexing her knees and lowering her body in preparation, as she withdrew her original spear and prepared it to fly.

With a grunt, the muscles in her arm tensed and she launched the weapon with a heavy step. The air screamed with its passage as Edelgard rode the momentum into a brief run, holding onto the girl with both arms. Then she jumped, and the shock splintered the base of the roof as she bounded past the whistling projectile's trail. And landed on it.

The two zoomed through the city's sky, barely a flash above people's heads.

Locke/The count

The count took a deep breath and said, "What on earth are you talking about?  How do you know Steaven?  I demand answers!"  Why the hell did she know so much?!  He required answers.  Someone was going to lose their head for this.

Locke simply stared at her for a moment, a few deep breaths and several blinks marking the passage of time.  "You..."

Without giving it a second thought, he grabbed the shorter girl by the arm and began dragging her back towards the front gate.  "We are leaving."

"Locke! Do not try to fight her!  She is too strong for you!"

As he continued to pull her away, he glanced back and replied, "She's not a magical girl, just a delusional reporter trying to get information.  I am going to escort her off the premises.  Then, I am going for a walk."

"I demand you return this instant Locke!  I will call the cops!"

Locke ignored him, turning his head to face the gate.  "Lets talk somewhere else," he whispered.

Steaven

Steaven nodded and handed them the phone.  On the screen was a blank contact page for them to fill out.  "It is the least that I can do and..... ummm," he said, his speech slowly devolving into mumbles.  "Sorry for trying to kill you.  Its kind of messed up, but it wasn't just the shaman who wanted that, it was me.  I genuinely wanted you dead.  I umm don't anymore so you know... we can still be friends."

He couldn't even look them in the eye anymore.  His eyes were glued to the ground.

Magical Girl

She made a show of struggling against his grip, to make it seem like he was actually dragging her away; when truthfully she was just going along with wherever he was going. "Heeeeeey, you can't do this to meeee! It's sooooo unfaaaair leeeeet goooooo!" She tried to make it as convincing as possible, but there was just no way she could resist this.

When they were out of sight of the Count she stopped struggling and relaxed her grip, leaving it up to him on how he wanted to proceed. "Oh are you gonna take me to a café? I'm sorry love but I don't put out on the first date." She said with a teasin voice, then her eyes sharpened.

"Have you calmed down now?"

A spidery boi

~Daa, da daaa. Da da da daaa~

A set of sharp teeth dug right into fresh piping hot dough, tomato and cheese, leaving a long string of goodness from where he bit off. After a long day of work, nothing like a fresh delivery to make it through the night. His shop was now closed, and the moonlight only barely slipped through the windows while he dangled lazily on his chair, feet resting on his counter table without any reservation or care.

"Pwaaaah... this is the stuff." He chewed yet another healthy bite off his pizza and rocked his head lightly to the beat of the music from his mp3. The new place that opened up next doors was just deee~lish, and a hot meal was just enough to cool his heart for the day.

A few cheesy scraps of that goodness were just enough to prove a feast for his neighbors as well, a bunch of spiders were greedily chewing the pizza up happily, squabbling with each other over the tastiest crustiest crumbs.

And since it was getting late, and the party was only just starting, he pulled one of his secret bottles from his hidden drawes under the counter. A shiny, glittering strand of moonlight wrapped around the cap and plopped it off carelessly, before he raised it up against the full moon, resting the warrior's rest like all the rest with his little... celebratory nectar. Vintage, good stuff to say the least.

"To another day, hehe." He raised the toast before gorging the drink down with the care of a professional chugger.

But just as he toasted to another day, disaster struck like a comet from a disaster movie. By the time you could hear it, it was already far too late. A burnin ball of fiery flame crashed into his shop with concusive crushing force that smashed everything in its way, flattening all that was before it; with a blinding flash of illuminating fluorescent bright white light it struck true.

All barriers in its path were knocked over like the inevitable fate of domino pieces, the walls, the furniture, his pride and joy, his collection, his honest hard work; his hopes and dreams. They were all savagely knocked over, crushed before the bright burning star of heaven. Nothing was left untouched by this calamity and at the center of it all; lay the broken body of one girl with red hair.

Small grunts of pain was all that could be heard from her, but it shouldn't be possible. Such an impact would surely kill anyone. Indeed her back was bent in an unnatural angle, suggesting a broken spine and her head; her head was twisted around 180 degress.

~Ta ta taaa da dam ta taaaah~ He hummed the kick-ass tune along a little, just chilling and relaxing and minding his own business when all of  a sudden he noticed his surroundings got a tad bit brighter. He glanced up to see a trail of fire, puzzlement showing. A shooting star? Didn't catch that every day. Alright, as a wish, he'd make it so that he'd be showered by cute girls every day, feh...

Wait, huh? Why is it getting bigger?

"WHAT THE-" The moment he realized just how fast the comet was growing, he put two and two together. But it was already too late. The comet was no wishing star, but a demonic meteor that destroyed everything in its path.  He was only lucky enough not to be in its immediate impact, and he was still thrown away along with all the burning rubble.

Ugh. Ow. Ow ow ow ow. He opened his eyes, hung by a  crooked lamp post stuck in a wall with his drink and pizza safely in his hands. Groaning, he descended with the grace of a spider settling down from its net, its emergency net that should've never been used to begin with. Good thing he had set up a plan b to z, quick thinking!

He stared down at the...girl? The girl on fire, who somehow wasn't splattered by a fall like that.

"Did you just... really? Ahh, come on, I opened this yesterday! GOD DAMN IT!!"

He grit his teeth, what the hell, what part of nice quiet time was too hard for to get. Jesus, he'd at least asked for a kiss before fate decided to bend him over and-

"You know what, it's fine. The important stuff is fine, yep, that's all that matters..." He sighed, totally calm and cool over this, despite being covered in soot and definitely feeling it, he could at least appreciate not being a modern artwork like whatever that was.

The broken body of the burning girl sat up quietly, with a slow determination; it was actually quite creepy too look at. She stood up just as slowly, her body completely bent in a weird angle, it looked freaky, way too freaky to ever be allowed. The she reached her full but not so impressive height and flexed, a snapping sound was heard.

It was the sound of the girl's back something snapping. The girl had somehow snapped her broken spine back into place with nothin but pure muscle. Then she turned to look up at the owner, or rather her body did, the head was still twisted. But not for long, another crunching sound was heard and her neck twisted itself around grotesquely, was she even alive? No sounds of pain were heard no flinching could be seen; it was like she was a puppet.

But there were no strings on her.

The scrawny boy blinked at that whole scene. Wow, this was like one of those horror flicks, except this time the scary monster was a cute girl.

Nice.

There was another snapping sound, but this time it came from his direction. Yhe string let loose, and the spider shot up to the moon, casting a shadow on its light as elegant as it was beastly. Twisting midair like a dancer, he landed closer to the little culprit with a landing prowl, the kind of practiced pose of someone who had definitely done this before.

"Rough landing?"

"Wow that's so cool." She skipped over to him with extreme enthusiasm, her eyes sparkling with excitement. It was too perfect to be true, and indeed it was.

Because just one mere step later she faceplanted right into the hard floor with a loud ouch. Her legs refused to carry her and she fell, simply fell like a jelly banana. She tried standing once more with the support of her her arms, only for them to give in as well. Leaving her with her face to the ground and her ass high like she was doing an animal impression.

Cool? R-really? No one ever called him that. Well, he was pretty cool, wasn't he?  He rubbed his chin and grinned, chuckling elegantly while sparkles lit up around his face. "Kyehehahahahaha... Yeah, I'm pretty great."

He looked down in surprise at the girl. Well, the girl wasn't the only thing he was looking at, but that was a different story. "I wouldn't move like that if I were you. Should I call an ambulance or something? I'd offer the couch, but... nah."

He glanced at the couch, which much like everything else was both broken and on fire.

"She's seen better days."

"My legsss.... No, no ambulance. I heal.... fast... but I think there's something wrong with my hips, I move it one way and it goes another." As she was speaking her behind was swaying one wasy then the other. "And trying to move my legs really hurts.

She managed to get up on her elbows and glanced at him. "I need you to.... just check what's wrong.... please."
