The squirrel girl pondered it for all of a few seconds before resuming groping the blonde.

"Sounds like fun, sorta," Nanako said, "What'd you fight and love?"

Please let that be the reason for the crying...

Purring contently under the Squirrel girl's praise and touch, Nero began engaging in bragging, at full volume indeed one of her favourite activities.

"Umu, it was fun indeed! I faced off with men and beasts, brave heroes and philosophers, princes and beggars, maidens like Venus and lads like Mars, Lions and Chimearas!"

"Hm, were they tough?" Nanako asked after a moment, part of her unable to help thinking back to the more fun moments of her career, "And what's a Chimera?"

I wonder how rough they could be...well, not like it matters much here. Unless some of those creatures came here with her, somehow.

Bartender

The female bartender stood motionless, stunned at her own actions as the two strangers argued.  She couldn't belive what she just did.  She couldn't belive she hurt herself just for a coworker.  Sure she owed him a lot for bailing her out so much but this?  That was a lot.  The two customers were talking about some vague thing, but it had nothing to do with either of them.  They were just here to serve drinks.

The male bartender, on the other hand, looked petrified.  He leaped over the counter and ran up to the vampire girl.  "W-wait.  You are going to tell your boss about this?  Will he really be that mad about some blood?!"

"Oh, they were formidable! And hoh, you dont know what a chimaera is?"

Thinking back on fond memories, the empress started openly drooling and giggling.

"Chimaeras, ehehe, they are something special, umu... Magical creatures, mixing aaaall the best parts of the most wondrous beasts.. humu..."

Nanako

It wasn't like Nanako's imagination wasn't already running away with it, but Nero's descriptions certainly weren't helping. The squirrel girl was lost for a few moments, imagining the busty blonde being pinned down, beaten, humiliated, and in some cases crying, under men and beasts alike, pleasant shudders running through her core. Shaking her head after a long few moments, Nanako's curiosity only heightened with Nero's vague response.

"Oh? What beasts is it made of?" Nanako asked eagerly.

She immediately whirled around to correct a misunderstanding in the making, She would not have any rumors spread about her becoming His vassal. Although it was already quite strange that a business owner hadn't even heard of her, was he a complete shut in or just a moron? She had held the position of Chief for several centurie, and even though she had retired, anyone with an inkling of political knowledge would know that the current Chief of the Vampire District was little more than her loyal lapdog. She wasn't referred to as the Vampire King as a joke.

"That man is not my 'boss', be aware this is a class one secret and I would have to kill if I told you anymore, and that goes for you to." She turned to Yusho. "The only one who can give clearance is Him"

"Hoho, i got you curious, did I?"

Nero sure was lucky to have met this girl, it seemed they were made from the same cloth, and she seemed a lot less scheming than the other girl she'd allied with. Not that she hated the scheming type per say, she was used to them, did they surround her in life after all, but they could be a bother to deal with.

"They usually are made of a Lion, a goat and a snake, but my mages were quite adept at making all kinds of impressive beasts. Why, once i'd commissioned one with ten different kinds of manly shafts, as a birthday present to myself, and they exceeded even my expectations!"

Nanako

The squirrel girl's face lit up with a blush at Nero's description of her commission, Nanako unable to help thinking back to that time she'd gone up against a snakeman. Shuddering slightly with the memory, she turned back to Nero, trying and entirely failing to keep her blush under control.

"Ten? Hm, sounds like that lasted for a while," Nanako nodded, curiosity striking, "Was it all men, or were there cute girls in your arena too?"

"Humu, indeed there were other cute girls beside me, of course! Albeit not too large an amount, i am ashamed to admit; in hindsight, i may have been scaring off some of my subjects by hogging others... I may not regret my past, but in the future i shall try to be more... considerate."

Tsumiko

The shadow shot out, continuing to chase the Vallentine who was attempting to flee. It split off from the main shadow, which had finished covering the entire area within the small house, growing in size until it was as big as a bus.

Inside, the shadow began to pull the two people left in its depths.

"Oh, I don't want you to capture her just yet, but that dammnable nobleman..."

She clenched her fist and slammed it against the table. The pattern in her eyes seemed to glow purple with fury. "I don't care what you do with that slaver scum-as long as I can retrieve his soul, I'll be happy."

She tilted her head and smiled. "So, what shall the price be? Let it be known that the great Eruraviel is an honourable dealer."

The squirrel girl pouted as Nero went off track, crossing her arms under her chest and inadvertently pushing it up.

"Of course there were plenty more in general," Nanako said, "Tell me more about the ones fighting in your arena."

"Wow. Amazing. Ten out of ten." He looked at her in the most deadpan way possible. No, more than that, he was calm, like being blasted by something like that didn't bother him one bit. "For a cook, you're pretty clumsy when it comes with your tools."

"You sure are curious about that one, hmmm? Should i tell you i wonder~"

Giggling to herself, the empress let herself float around on her back, admiring the Squirl's mountains from below.
