Sakura and Shirou
Sakura glared angrily at her alternate self, her words seriously irritating. Did this idiot seriously think that her judgement of a man she had briefly met was more reliable than that of the woman who had been married to him for thirty years?
"Do you seriously believe that the judgement you made based on one bad impression is more reliable than the judgement I made based on thirty years of life together?", she said, sighing, her anger clear.
"I have been married to him for thirty years, and I can assure you he most definitely is Shirou. He is kind, considerate, brave and strong, and he would never, ever willingly harm me or any alternate version of me. I don't know why he made the mistake he made, or why his apology was so inexplicably bad, but I assure you he would never willingly upset or harm you in any way. He has apologised properly now, that should be the end of it", Sakura finished, her tone calming down slightly, hoping she could convince the woman of Shirou's innate Shirouness.
Meanwhile, the alternate Sakura turned to Irisviel, addressing her in German. Whilst Sakura could not fully understand her words, she knew enough to realise that she was asking why they were here. To Sakura's slight annoyance, Irisviel responded also in German, making no effort to explain to them why she had brought them to this place and to the crazy alternate version of herself. Once again, Sakura could only pick out the occasional word of Irisviel's response, determining that it was something to do with someone called "Vanguard" and being sorry, and bringing them here for safety. Unfortunately, though, this time, Sakura lacked the context to pick out anything more.
However, whilst she couldn't really work out what was going on, the other Sakura's reaction was dramatic. As soon as she heard the name of this mysterious person, her legs weakened and she collapsed into the arms of her blonde servant, asking the woman what she meant as she did so. Sakura looked on with confusion and a little concern, wondering who this "Vanguard" person might be. Whilst she was mad at her alternate self, she didn't really want to see her harmed. At the same time, she was too annoyed to make any real attempt to help her, and had no idea what was going on anyway.
Shirou, on the other hand, who was still prostrating himself on the floor, looked up with genuine concern and worry. Even if this was not his Sakura, seeing any version the woman he loved collapse like that was distressing. And, unlike Sakura, whilst he could not understand Irisviel's German speech, he knew exactly who Vanguard was. Yet, at the same time, it confused him. Vanguard had died at the hands of Togan, why would Irisviel bring him up here? Was, perhaps, she informing the other Sakura of his death? If so, then maybe that explained her reaction.
Still, Shirou was conflicted. He desperately wanted to ask what was happening, and if she was OK, but it wasn't his place. The alternate Sakura still hated him, and any attempt to comfort her would only result in upsetting her further. So, he simply pulled himself up from the ground, looking on with concern at the alternate Sakura, obviously genuinely worried about her state.
