Entheo
Arm raised, butter knife pointed directly at the body of Forest, aimed directly at the pair's hearts. "Its not about whether or not I can win Forest," Entheo said, his eyes still as dead as he was prepared to make them. "I came across two ladies, one cursed to live an eternal life of suffering as a vampire, who claims to have given up on her ideal future. The other is a divine construct, the same as myself who can't answer me with a straight answer, but instead gives me nonsense about Ragnarok, the end of the world. I can't turn my back on souls so tortured. If you don't want to die, then cling to life with all you have."
Entheo's arm reeled back, only to stop at Thorra's words. Light returned to his eyes, his frown changing into something more neutral. The butterknife fell to Entheo's side as he let out a heavy sigh. "Well thats good to hear. But please, next time I ask you a question like that answer it more honestly. I did actually want to go on a proper date. I don't want to make this about work."
Entheo stared at Forest. "So then tell me, if you really can't imagine an ideal future, then why bother fighting back? If I came at you right now, regardless of your strength, you could just let me kill you. Was that your ego talking, fear, or were you not being honest with me either?"
With one eye closed and the other open he continued. "We all carry the simple burden of life. Why bother staying here when I can just pass you both on?"
